The film seems like a box office winner despite the mixed WOM it likely will get. The film reunites the director and main lead of Heropanti (Sabbir Khan and Tiger Shroff). This one also has a more popular heroine in Shradda Kapoor. She will attract the masses (many of her recent films have been huge box office successes such as AASHIQUI 2, EK VILLAIN, and ABCD 2). Her action sequences will play a key role in attracting the masses to theatres as well. The Sabbir-Tiger combo is there again after the box office success of HEROPANTI, BAAGHI's trailer presents a larger scale/budget than HEROPANTI (a factor which will attract the multiplex audience to the theatres more at least initially opening-day-wise), the action is there too once again in BAAGHI to attract the masses, and the film is named after a film from the past of the mass favourite: Salman Khan.

Basically, BAAGHI will get a strong opening at the box office, especially at mass centres. The film's WOM, as I said, will be Mixed: the masses/single screen audience will like the film, while the multiplex audience will not be as favourable, with some even possibly giving the film a thumbs down. However, the strong opening combined with the overall decent WOM for the film will be enough to do the job and make the film a box office winner.

My Box Office Predictions for BAAGHI:

Opening Day: 9 crores net

Opening Weekend: 28 crores net

Lifetime Collections: 70+ crores net

Overall Verdict: Hit

Good prediction. Opening day seems to be 10cr +
Lets see what people say after watching the movie.

Does anyone know the landing cost of Baaghi?

Baaghi Set To Emerge A HIT

Baaghi is set to emerge a HIT film as its second day also hit double digits as collections are likely to be 10 crore nett plus again which is very good for a film which had a good first day. The drop is around 12% but that is okay as still its a high collection..

The drop could have been a little less but West Bengal was shut most of the day due to some local elections and the circuit would have been hit for 25-30 lakhs nett. The film is around 22 crore nett in two days and the weekend should go to around 35 crore nett. Basically the film is looking at doing the lifetime business in Heropanti probably in one week.

The film has seen the drops in circuits where it opened to strong collections as single screens showed that Saturday morning drop but still collections are at high levels and ahead of films like Fan and Airlift in practically all mass circuits.
