I wrote a sci-fi book (Black Book Saga by Dylan Jones) a few years ago which was surprisingly popular in the US and UK, winning 'Best Indie Book' by Podler Review and getting to the Amazon Top 5 Bestseller list in the USA. I was recently going through the list of countries that Amazon sells my book and decided this week to sell it in India since sci-fi books seem quite popular there and no one there knew about it yet. Are English language books on Kindle a common thing in India, or do the readers in India prefer getting their books elsewhere?

I know that in some countries (like Malaysia or Poland) there is a problem getting Kindle books and readers have to sign up using US accounts but since Amazon has a dedicated India store (.in), I'm assuming that reading on Kindle in India is straightforward?
