Sorry for the late post. It's study week before finals and I had way ton of stuff to be reviewing.
A filler episode, yet quite substantial in allowing Kunj to take baby steps towards his Siyaapa Queen. Will try to keep the post short for an easy read.
Moving on to the episode. Yesterday's post I mentioned how the dance-off has begun and today's episode focused on the roles of the family in this dance-off between the two men. While I was hoping that the revelation of the truth behind the blood would be kept between the trio, today's episode had blurred the lines and invited the family to be part of the war to judge and declare winners.
The episode started with Kunj coming in to ask for measurements of the dress. The dress was given to Twinkle by Yuvraj and pushed Twinkle in a position and made her appearance as such that Yuvraj would appreciate. A black dress signifies a staple accessory of fashion in a women's closet and portrays the woman as a powerful, mysterious and authoritative individual. The color blacks masks the emotions and suppresses a person's personality by only allowing lingering mystery to be carried around the woman who wears the dress. Yuvraj giving Twinkle the dress signified his lust for a feisty Twinkle. It is Twinkle's fierceness and ferocity that both the men adore which is why despite not having a taste as such as Yuvraj, Kunj was appreciative of the dress. > Yesterday Twinkle rips up the dress and later Kunj feels that she is upset because of the dress being ripped apart due to which he decided to by her a new dress. What I found interesting was the Kunj didn't offer to mend the dress or ask her to get the dress mended, but he instead thought of buying a new dress. Something that hasn't happened till date as he had usually "fixed" the problems she's been in.
Generally speaking, clothes are made to cover you up and to protect you from your environment. Twinkle had chosen willingly to enter Room 102, the room of a sinful man in order to remind him of who she is, thus willingly choosing Yuvraj's own protection against him however with Kunj by her side, she need;t be her own protector and guardian as she was after her honeymoon when she had to stand against Yuvi by herself.
Upon deciding to tape measurements, Kunj questions why are there centimeters on the tape instead dog inches when it's called an inch-tape. Measuring tape signifies the measuring against a goal or mission in order to accomplish it and in order to bring the smile back on Twinkle's face, Kunj needs to avenge justice for the harm caused to her. Waist and torso are carriers of chakra that balances the body. They also signify the ability to adapt by having all the necessary organs other then heart and brain joining up together. Kunj's gripping of her waist signified his turn to become protector of Twinkle after he had been provided with his strength, his taking the blood from Yuvi and making his source of happiness, Twinkle, completely away from Yuvi in all senses. He mentions the waist as 17, a number of immortality and a number possessing universal energy of healing and understanding.
Kunj explains the partnership he is partaking after measuring the shoulder and mentions him buying a dress, making Twinkle aware that he is her protector and despite her being skeptic about calling for help from him in future, she needn't be because he is a willing participant altogether. His taking on the waist later signified how during the trail of sharing her responsibility at defeating Yuvraj, he will come to understand her motives and would be in awe of her decisions despite not being happy with it > explained through his words of him being selfish for his wife's happiness and taking tasks upon himself for her safety because it allows him to be safe < As mentioned before, Kunj would be disappointed and angry at Twinkle however he will stand by her because the revelation of the truth about the blood would be in middle of the track and in order to push Yuvi away and show him his deserving end, he would require to be partners with Twinkle. It'll be after when Yuvi is defeated that he will, despite understanding Twinkle's perspective with being a witness to the steps she is taking and by being lectured by Bebe that he'll turn the fight into a fussy-fun fight.
Twinkle's disapproval at him buying a dress showed how she does not approve of him being her protector especially since she is the one with a stalker-exboyfriend. Leela being told to exit from the room by Kunj was significant of how Leela has been providing support as a protector to Twinkle in recent days by shielding Kunj away however he ability to stop Kunj from dealing with Yuvraj has drained itself as Kunj now, with two bottles transfused, has the ability to stand on his own without being solely dependent on Twinkle or Yuvraj for his actions. Kunj has entered back and his strength would be returned to him if he is willing to fight as well instead of just standing as a shield. > The network connection phone call signified how the removal of secrets won't be decreasing the physical distance between Kunj and Twinkle as Kunj cannot be a protector or guardian. His position has shifted from behind Twinkle to in front of Twinkle and in order to be able to keep Twinkle in his shadows, he HAS to fight for her. The new promo plays in with the three different goals and three different victories by placing Kunj in an active battlefield in which he had willingly entered and now has been called back because of desperate measures.

Yuvraj enters in the house scaring the wits out of Raman Mamu but him composing himself as he and Cherry stand side by side. I had explained earlier the significance of Raman Mamu in the all the situations and the battles of this War of Love. Cherry being a representative of Surjeet who now holds the financial reigns in the Sarna household is the the person who takes decisions whereas Raman being partner of Leela in financial and household decisions in Taneja household in representative of Tanejas instead of Raimendar/RT.
The positioning of the characters matters as Yuvi enters and leads everyone into dancing sessions. The whole war has been instigated by the Luthras so it was only fair that Yuvi gets to be the lead and in middle of the family. Mama ji and Cherry stand at guard while Bebe stands in the middle, her position as such that passes the approval and disapproval. The placement of the mothers behind Bebe and sitting signified how they are now present to be the advisors and nurturers in this war. Twinkle and Kunj stepping down together and standing on opposite end of Bebe while facing the choreographer signified their presence by being the new entrants in this war and being the opponents who would be present in the field to throw spears and take spears/fire bullets and take the bath of bullets. > The positioning of characters was symbolic on terms of how they stand as a family and the roles each plays together as a family because ultimately in the end, this war is between families. The rejection of Leela and cheating of Anita's husband broke the Luthra family and provided Yuvraj with a single parent. Reason why Luthras have always tried to create partition and bitterness amongst the family members because they if they wouldn't have a happy family, no one else should either.
The dance starts off with Bebe who proceeds with the steps taught and then makes up her own surpassing Yuvi. Same pattern follows through with Raman and Cherry and then Ananad, Leela and Usha. The surpassing signified how each family member would be taking a stance in this last battle against Yuvraj in order to bring the justice to the daughter of the house. All participants including Twinkle but not Kunj, who has entered into the battle on his own terms; are pushed into the complicated battlefield of War for the Love of each other as family by Yuvi however while each of the family member made there own way through the battle by standing in their positions and securing their feet, Twinkle's steps faltered which landed her into Kunj's arms. Twinkle twirls were also reflective of how Twinkle had been pawn of Luthras however because of their rash decisions, they ended up pushing Twinkle towards Kunj.
Kunj mentioning to Yuvi that Twinkle is his bhabhi signified Yuvi's relationship to Twinkle and that Kunj will be making sure that Yuvraj in no way is able to cross boundaries other then being a devar to Twinkle.
The dance number that the family danced upon "Dil Dance Mare" is literally a song that speaks about the hearts unveiling themselves, including Yuvi's heart in yearning for what is the deepest of their desire and what lets their heart be free. While the family members danced in their respective places, Kunj and Twinkle danced with each other, circling around and forming their own world. The sequence ended with everyone rejoicing and Bebe being the one allowing the choreographer to stay on and sign in with Kunj and Twinkle for a year.
Now the contract has been troubling me since yesterday since bebe mentions that a trial of one year upon success should be taken on and expanded to ten years later and I couldn't understand Bebe's stance on dancing and a dance-off being extended for years to come however today's posting of the characters and the beginning of Yuvi downfall had me realize what Bebe meant. > Bebe told Surjeet that he can marry whomever but she won't be blessing his wife until she is content with the fact that he has made a right choice and Anita scarfing her life by standing up to her son in front of Bebe for Surjeet won a lottery ticket into Sarna house as a elder bahu of the two brothers. While Surjeet would've still married Anita, he wouldn't have given her a rightful place next to him without Bebe's blessings which puts Bebe into a position where she is responsible for bringing the Luthras into the house. Now asking Kunj and Twinkle to sign the contract for a year and then for ten year signified Kunj and Twinkle's own fight each other and there marriage being a reason of Luthras to enter inside th Sarna household. Kunj and Twinkle married each other for their families and decided to give there partnership a chance for as long as it says and then separate.
The contract signifies a new agreement however a fraudulent contract signifies an agreement of adversity. Yuvraj pulling the rug from underneath Bebe signified his being in the part of the plan to fool Bebe that allowed her to fall and misjudge and distract her from the right and wrong in front of her eyes. The decision of Bebe had pushed Kunj to not just sign an agreement to fight for Twinkle in front of the world as Shiva did for his wives, but also to face the challenges thrown in because of ulterior motives in front of him as a husband to Twinkle. Twinkle only signs the divorce papers while Kunj signs the contract for dance lessons and divorce.
Yuvi has a habit of walking away at the worst time and like every time, he'll be leaving the fight in between by surrendering. He gets the papers signed and tells that he'll be meeting at the celebrations of birthday. The next he follows up with is calling Twinkle to inform that the third task has been completed and that the three bottles of blood are now her husband's indicating Kunj standing strong enough and with enough strength that his doubts over Twinkle needn't be cleared because they have not remained there and have been wiped by Twinkle's support throughout the ordeal. The insecurities rising up in Kunj wouldn't linger for much longer as he would realize that it had been only emotional barriers put up by Twinkle for his own safety that hadn't allowed him to come closer to her as they both have wanting to be. Yuvraj in his attempt to separate had pushed them more closer by putting their target that needs to be defeated as one and by putting both of them against each other along with each other to save their relationship.
Kunj call to London was not for the project but for to figure out the reason of the new adversity he has to deal with. While he has been pursuing justice for Twinkle, his priority is Twinkle's happiness and who better then calling Mahi, who being a sister now stands as Twinkle's protector against Yuvi by being is legal wife. The call to Mahi was away wake up call to Kunj to realize that his wife has started out another battle and she has kept the ordeal a secret. The build-up to the realization of secrets between the two and that Twinkle's secrets have always resulted in problems falling out of control.
This time when he walks in and calls out her name, she is more composed as last two times he had been trying to pull her leg and the hope to be warrior on her own lingers inside her as she cannot all him yet to be next to her and stand as her protector. I loved the portrayal of seriousness and a conversation flowing through both along with both's frustrations surfacing. Twinkle asking for time signified how she has control over the time for the time-being however Kunj will not allow her to keep that control for any longer by giving her an extension till her birthday. The pleading in Twinkle's tone to trust her judgment after the first lie was an echo to Kunj that whatever Twinkle has isolated from him isn't a fancy surprise.
The day of birth is exactly the perfect day for rebirth of Twinkle and Kunj's relationship and the relationship being taken forward however the rebirth could only begin when Kunj would realize the severity and the truth of the battle Twinkle is fighting on her own and has fought till now on her own for the people she cherishes the most. The unveiling of the truth would happen on the birthday itself.
Kunj wakes up in the morning but he is sleeping on typically Twinkle's side of the bed. The side close to the door and the side that is the protector and the person who holds the key to the relationship. Kunj hands over the reigns of control in Twinkle's hands when he is at peace with their relationship however the secret and untold problem that has kept her worried enough that she hasn't slept properly in days has forced him now on to take the reigns of control back as he has enough strength.
Kunj wakes up to a decorated room and sits up to realize the day. He picks up the card Tinkle has left him with the wishes and a picture of them, as he is used to seeing her face first thing in the morning. The card wishes him prosperity, health and wealth but alongside it it also asks him to be by her side forever. Kunj has even after confessing his love the first time, asked for a time out and afterwards, had her promise that there wouldn't be any secrets between the two that could create a rift that could go outside the boundaries of their bedroom. Him asking that he already hopes he can have for next seven lifetimes signifies that Kunj's love will also live up to it's "beintehaa" as Twinkle's love is proving it's worth by living up to "bohot se bhi bohot".
A separation between the two will not pave it's way now and never ever as long as they both are in consciousness and taking their own decisions.
Kunj's lighter blue shade symbolizes his turn to be the healer and protector in the relationship he shares with his wife and coming to an understanding whereas Twinkle's darker shade of blue signified her ability to bring in stability, strength and depth to their relationship heron now as the war originally and till end will remain between a Taneja and a Luthra.
He asks her once again the secret between them and the founding reason being him and his health is revealed. The slow revelation until this point has allowed Kunj to grip a better understanding instead of being mad and angry at Twinkle all of a sudden and paving way for his disappointment to surface as he realizes the selfishness in her self-sacrifice she has for him by doing anything to keep his life at peace. Twinkle offers him the prasad, the god's blessing but he refuses it. Upon going downstairs, he eats up the cake brought for him indicating his realization of partiality Twinkle has created between them. Cutting the cake and enjoying it signified Kunj's success in bringing Twinkle back to him in his own battle against Yuvraj for the girl they both are living for.
Yuvraj and Anita's scene did not old much significance besides that the mother-son duo are going to fall over there own over-confidence. Yuvraj will make sure to flaunt the papers in front of Kunj before trying to marry Twinkle again however he'll forget that the papers would have to go through as well. His flaunting of a love between him and Twinkle would be symbolic of him waving a white flag in surrender and so he will do. His disguise will be blown up him himself and his ego that has boasted his confidence in his obsession for Twinkle would be crushed making him the ultimate loser in his own eyes.
Overall the episode was highly entertaining and felt with drama, romance and comedy with balance. It has worked on creating a progress of revelation and has put Kunj at a point that he had volunteered for but never expected to be standing at. The track's first climax is nearing and the time to find out whether Kunj is strong enough to provide Twinkle the support she needs and live up to his end of vows he made to her.
