The EP# on Zee website is mixed up because they merged EP 199 and 200 together in the webisodes they've uploaded and went a number behind because of which all the EP# from 200 have been posted wrong. Probably technical trouble. This EP is the 208th episode aired and aired on April 27th, 2016
The episode starts with Twinkle stepping out to get ice and walking back in with the tray in her hands. I mentioned yesterday and contrasted between the two forms of water Twinkle hands down to the men in her life. Water in it's liquid and consumable form stands for purity and life while once frozen and solidified, detonates destruction and harm. Twinkle handing Yuvi ice and Yuvi putting the ice in alcohol signified how Yuvi chooses self-destructive paths for himself in attempt to pull Twinkle towards him.
I read a particular quote someplace earlier and I cant remember who said it and what it was worded with but the quote basically described how women, because of their natural nurturing ability give a thousand reasons in name of love to hide and conceal and abuse man. Women think that they can change the men in their life if they provide enough love to them however men wouldn't take no for an answer. This particular explanation and quote always reminds me of Twinkle and Yuvi's relationship. While Twinkle was with Yuvi, she gave a thousand explanations to Kunj from the very first fight and confutation about Yuvi's anger and his abusive ways, brushing it all under "their" love and "his" love for Twinkle.
>> In today's episode, what I found really amusing and fascinating was the use of the heart on top of the bed. While Yuvi stood in middle of the heart, Twinkle stood outside and away from the boundaries of it. The same heart has been used twice thus far for Kunj and Twinkle and both have made their way into the heart from opposite ends both the times. I have always maintained that at one-now-exticnt-point, Yuvi did fall for Twinkle and actually loved her with all his heart. It was that one year where he really really wanted Twinkle to be his eternally their seven year relationship however Twinkle's constant approval of her own family become a hurdle between them and that hurdle was what both were dealing with when the show started out. The main motive of Yuvraj was to marry Twinkle by eloping to extract revenge from Leela Taneja for hurting his mother all these years however in between the moments of revenge, Twinkle showered her genuine love and provided an emotional support wall to Yuvraj that he has been deprived of since his childhood. Always getting what he wants and unable to get his favorite toy "Twinky", the relationship founded upon lies and presented as a bouquet of roses to the world started showing the toxicity it had instilled in both the people involved in it. While Twinkle broke, Yuvraj's affections mixed with vengeance for the rejection and the burning fire of his mother's revenge turned into obsession to attain Twinkle and that entire broken, rough-edged and darkness was bluntly showed in Yuvraj's treatment of Twinkle today.
I am not romanticizing Twinkle's pain here. Yuvraj is an extremely toxic and broken person however like every person who goes through a rough childhood, Yuvraj was given and had the choice of turning himself around onto the path of correctness which was shown to him by Twinkle or take the hatred filled and selfish pathway that he had followed all his life shown to him by his mother. He is a grown individual and he makes his own choices for which he is accountable for. His treatment to Twinkle was abusive and self-destructive of himself. The portrayal of such a layered and broken character by Zain was marvelous. Yuvraj has chosen self-destruction and he thrives of the thrill he gets from putting himself and Twinkle in pain.
Yuvraj asks Twinkle to button up his shirt however Twinkle only reached halfway up, before poking him. The act signified how Twinkle had always been used as a shield by Yuvraj to cover up his acts and messes. He has always blamed Twinkle for his downfall however Twinkle herself has moved on past him and the realization is dawning upon Yuvraj aft being a witness to the extent Twinkle is ready to go to for Kunj. >> Quoting EP 200:
The whole scene in the jail signified how Yuvraj will allow the negativity and the pain of rejection from Twinkle to dictate this last round of attack he is going to wage on Twinkle/Kunj and we all know that Yuvi's impulsive plans are all half-baked especially sine he operates on those plans without Anita. Anita and Yuvi separating over their goals will lead them to failure and the one to lead Anita to failure, who will make Anita realize what her fire of hatred has done to Yuvraj's life would be Yuvraj himself > pointing out if she lost her lenses and applauding her for being a mother without 'mamta.'Couple of days ago I mentioned that Anita's time in Sarna mansion will soon come to an end because of the blames that keep piling up against her and the one to kick her out would be Surjeet instead of Bebe because she has been accepted into the Sarna family for Surjeet's happiness. The track is starting to gain momentum now and the one to disclose Anita's intentions to destroy the Sarnas associated with Tanejas would be none other then Yuvraj himself because of his frustrations and anger at not being able to get to Twinkle, which was the purpose of Anita being present in the Sarna house.Yuvraj listens to his mom as he she recommends shifting to the hospital. A hospital signifies a place that provides healing but Anita taking Yuvi after making him choke himself, which translates into Yuvi's hatred for life without Twinkle reflects on Anita's failed efforts to bring her son back on the path they started out from. Yuvi's upbringing had so many flaws that his focus changes to everything that attracts him and Twinkle will remain focus of his life throughout. Once in the hospital, Yuvi lets himself free and is glad at the better condition then the cell he was thrown in, he starts playing with an apple.An apple is known as the forbidden fruit in all the monotheistic cultures and Yuvraj reaching out to an apple just as he is freed from the reigns of his own actions signified him reaching out to Twinkle once again now that he is out in the one and has the power to manipulate the doctors/healers because of the path his mother chose for him. > Yuvi had continuously expressed his desire to marry Twinkle and he has done so three times before however he has been unable to complete the last phera everytime which declares the two people as husband-wife. Marrying an already married person is against morality and playing the apple signified how he is ready to take over the boundaries of morality in order to reach towards the forbidden fruit.
Yuvraj asks Twinkle to dance with him after putting his shirt back up himself, signifying him trying to be protective of himself after losing Twinkle and his loss of Twinkle was dictated by Twinkle when she came to his face and screamed at him that she herself is willingly marrying Kunj. Yuvraj had since then had taken up his self-destructive plans and put them to action as an individual himself instead of being dictated by his mother.
He pulls Twinkle into a dance to which she denies but proceeds to touch her without her consent. The pain and agony of Twinkle was portrayed perfectly and the obsession and darkness of lust in Yuvraj was bubbling out. It was one of the most disgusting instances and no one should have to go through as such.
For the dance Yuvraj's focus is on two things, Twinkle's arms, her hands and her neck however he is only able to touch halfway through her arms until she flicks his hand away from moving further up and touching her neck. Neck signifies Spiritually and the chakra that connects heart to mind and Arms are symbols of strength just as hands are. While at one point Yuvraj's fake love was a source of strength for Twinkle, it was never enough to overpower her love for her family as Kunj's love has managed to. Yuvraj twisting Twinkle's arms over her waist signified how he himself will allow Twinkle to shield herself from him by walking on path of self-destruction, self-pity and overconfidence.
Twinkle pushes Yuvraj away from herself when he tries to lean in to kiss. She and Yuvraj had never gone past hand-holding in their relationship thus reserving the right of physical affection for the person she has been married to. She tells him that his time is over and that he should be present at 11 sharp to donate blood.
11 add up to 2 as 1+1 and dictates the duality of the number 2. The number also forms though 1 added on to 10 which signifies the universal energy of completion added on with powers of leadership and independence. The number is a figure of refinement after chaos and destruction and confirms reestablishment of a person. At 11 sharp, when Yuvraj will donate one more bottle of blood, adding up to two bottles now, he will be handing Kunj the complete power of justice and duality required to achieve Twinkle's love.
Upon return from the hospital, Kunj asks if he looks as red as tomato. Tomatoes are symbols of sun and life signifying Kunj's restoration of health however alongside tomato are symbols of love and sex between romantic partners signifying Kunj's belief in Twinkle's love becoming stronger and his love for her becoming stronger.
The night of Twinkle's return, she enters the room and settles herself in darkness. Twinkle's life has been pushed into darkness during a testing time as such, pulling her source of light aka Kunj away from her. Her changing into a red salwar suit represented her anger at the situation where she is tied from all ends. This war has pushed her fighting spirit to an edge. The white along with red shirt signified the underlying purity and innocence of Twinkle. Ripping the dress given to her in darkness signified Twinkle trying to handle the turmoil of the situation herself. Kunj steps into the room and doesn't turn the light on but falls on the bed, signifying his oblivion of the situation. At this point Kunj is also quite weekend and hadn't recovered fully - the second bottle need for him to be ready and would be given to him tomorrow. Twinkle and Kunj both laid on the bed, on the edge, being apart in the most intimate ways by putting secrets between them. Both of them also had their shoes on and the covers of the bed, which Twinkle had been fixing up were lying on the bed underneath them signifying the lies Twinkle has added on in their relationship. If you all noted the position, Kunj was lying below while Twinkle's head was up signifying that this track has provided her leverage despite the outcome.
What I believe Twinkle and Kunj's behavior would be upon the revelation of the blood to Kunj is outpouring of immense amount of guilt and self-blame from Twinkle for herself and accepting Kunj's decision even if he wants to leave her and while Kunj will be disappointed for a while, he would not be able to shake off the anger at Twinkle's sacrifice for himself. A cold war as one that ensured before might make it's way between the two in privacy of their bedroom however Twinkle's regret at hiding and her constant pain would be too much to handle for Kunj who will make up with her in the end because her position in his life has escalated far too much for him to leave her.
Down in the living room, the conversation between Leela and Bebe follow through Kunj's condition. Usha being a mother has been worried about Kunj and more so since he has always been overlooked by his father. Usha has a significant role to play in the reunion of Kunj and Twinkle. While she understands Kunj's pain and the journey has to make to prove himself worthy of Twinkle's love despite not appreciating the routes her son has to take. She will have to understand that the key to Kunj's happiness lies with twinkle which will allow her to push Kunj towards Twinkle and embrace her. > She mentions to Kunj that no one listens to her upon his and Bebe's choice of choosing dance lessons and enjoying to the fullest and he mentions to her that he will always listen to her, however when he doesn't, he will sent Twinkle along because Twinkle has to listen signifying how Bebe will be the one to guide Kunj and be aware of the justice Kunj , along with Mahi's (who is still a Sarna/Luthra daughter-in-law) help wants to extract from Yuvraj and Usha would be the one to push Twinkle to realize what her husband is doing for her and wants to do for her, putting Twinkle in a position where she has to leave her regrets and stand by her husband when he'll step in front of her to fight her war for which a path was paved when Bebe allowed the Luthras' into the Sarna mansion.
The upstairs confrontation between Twinkle and Kunj signified and reflected on how they will unify. Twinkle in black signified her carrying an air of mystery because of her secrets and the depressive thoughts floating in her because of guilt of hiding from Kunj. Kunj finally decided to reach out to her and have her calm down by stop worrying as her expressions have been of constant worry since she had figured out about his illness. Kunj's reassurance to her that he completely normal and would recover in few more days to her and Twinkle's regret and guilt not allowing her to go close to the person who can be a source of comfort to her was reflected in the hug where they both could feel a peculiar distance growing in between them.
Upon finding the torn dress, Kunj assures Twinkle that it is completely okay and she needn't be upset and his reaction is reflective of how he'll assure Twinkle that he won't be leaving her anytime soon and also how the voids in her life given to her by Yuvraj would be filled by him.
Dancing symbolizes free spiritedness and unleashes the truth of heart. Now the idea of Dancing has been unpleased by Bebe who is the mother. Bebe has been a driving force behind everything and had been a representative of the universal energy because of which I would like to associate her with earth all around or a plane that basically guides Kunj through as a neutral person and points at the wrong and right to him.
In EP 201 I mentioned the following:
Bebe and Leela have always referred to Kunj and Twinkle as reflection of Paravti and Shiv. So far we have seen Twinkle take reincarnations of Paravti and stand in her war for love as Goddess Durga, Sati/Shakti and Parvati.Kalantaka or Conqueror of Death is one of the aspects and attributions of Lord Shiva. The mantra was provided by Lord Shiva himself after seeing Lord Indra's well-being in danger after he hung from a tree over flames for twenty years.Yamraj, the God of Death was defeated by Shiv after he tried to take a devotee of Shiv who had been blessed with a short life span by Shiv himself. The devotee takes it upon himself to recite the Mahamrityunjaap in order to plead to Lord Shiv which works miraculously as Shiv defats Yamraj and grants his devotee a long-life. The jaap was also recited by Goddess Sati/Shakti in order to protect Earth's moon which would have destructed itself because of a fight that started because of Shiv's anger. >> Twinkle had previously touched Kunj's feet signifying how she has given him an elevated status of "God" that Hinduism has given to the husbands. It portrays her devotion and submission and her being the one to recite the mantra signifies her complete devotion towards Kunj. Kunj's current position in the war is because of his anger taking over him after not being able to protect his wife from Yuvraj's foul plans however as Shiv's wives held the power to calm him down, Twinkle with her devotion would be the one to restore Kunj back to his health.The Mahamrityunjaap mantra is recited to Lord Shiva to protect his followers (Sarnas have been shown to worship Lord Shiva and Goddess Durga throughout along with following Sikhism.) The mantra restores life, healing the person from mental, physical and emotional injuries faced till date...
Now going to explain why I quoted the EP 201 here. See, Kunj is Lord Shiva and Twinkle, Paravati and her reincarnations.
In this particular track, Kunj and Twinkle are married just as Sati and Shiva were married and had promised each other to be eternally present with each other. Twinkle and Kunj's confession after Rajjo's wedding was full of vows from both of them wanting each other's eternal happiness. As Sati, Twinkle had brought a certain kind of stability into Kunj's life which Kunj done for Twinkle as well by providing his protection to her.
I've mentioned in one of my analysis before about Kunj's character and how he always had a underlying anger issue with Twinkle. Firstly, the alliance with her was causing rifts between his parents and he cannot see his mother unhappy. Secondly, the alliance with Twinkle caused him another hurdle in path to make-up with Alisha and thirdly, he found himself attracted to Twinkle in man situations while wanting to despise her. Kunj was already dealing with a negative environment at home because of his strained relationship with his father. His anger and suppression of emotions had been a big problem for him and till date hasn't been able to open up anyone besides Twinkle. As Sati has done for Shiva, Twinkle has pulled Kunj out from his own isolated shell that he used as a shield for himself and has provided him with the weapon of love.
I mentioned the anger because in between Twinkle's choices of both the men, both have anger issues and both men's anger stems not their childhood and the way they were treated by their parents however one of them is the correct person. Twinkle is force of creation and while she herself is also broken, she had the ability to heal and hold keys of both the men. Kunj stands out as Lord Shiv in the whole tale because of his righteousness and that's the boldest part of his personality as he is a morally-driven person and a person who keeps his vows.
The story of Lord Shiva and Goddess Sati/Shakti ends with the Goddess throwing herself in a sacrificial fire to prove her love. After confession this is the first instance where both Twinkle and Kunj are tested for their love and the worth of it. Goddess Shakti throws herself in the fire because of a war between Lord Daksha and Lord Shiva. The men have a ego tussle and want to be the only one to claim right over the Goddess. Lord Daksha is unhappy with Sati choosing Shiva and upon insulting Shiva, Sati sacrifices herself. Quite a reflection with the what Yuvraj and Kunj have in between them as arrogance and ego and their rights over Twinkle and even for Kunj, time has come to give a proper definition to the kind of love he has for Twinkle.
Twinkle's sacrifice for Kunj is not to allow Kunj to come forward but it is an ultimate downfall for Yuvi. He has already closed the doors of redemption for himself however with the ending of this track, Yuvi's destruction and his crushed ego and pride and his princely lifestyle would subsidize and he would be brought down to crumbling pieces.
As Sati, Twinkle is thrown into confusion by the hypocrisy of Daksha/Yuvraj for what he claims is love but is not. Kunj/Shiva, the God of destruction and consciousness will be the one to put an end to the manipulation and fight over Twinkle. Sati's death brought the forces of cosmic and universal energy together to form the reincarnation of Parvati, which is the the most cherished wife of Shiva however before the reincarnation, there is a part that takes places allowing the spirit of Sati to come forth to Shiva. Shiva, the destroyer and the creator possess a special ability to dance. The dance is called "Tandava", translating into divine form of dance, symbolizing universal cycles of destruction and rebirth. Upon death of Sati, Lord Shiva performed the dance of Rudra-Tandeva by walking with the body of his wife in his arms all over the world in grief. The grief was so strong that the world shook. Similarly, Kunj's grief and disappointment at Twinkle's sacrifice would be so strong that he will engage himself in a fight with Yuvraj that harmed Twinkle, allowing Twinkle to be reincarnate spiritually as HIS wife only instead firstly, then being a fighter as she has been so far for her mother, for Mahi and for him by appearing as a form of Goddess Sati/Shakti.
Kunj's win and Yuvraj's defeat will grant Twinkle justice, putting Yuvraj answerable to Mahi and Anita along with the law. The defeat will also shift focus of Yuvraj from Twinkle to the realization of what has happened to him and how has he reacted the point he is standing on, leading to Anita's exposure to the Sarnas.
Bebe mentions the dance, hinting at the Kunj to allow himself to tap into the gladness of his heart and shed the worries. She also mentions calling the choreographer, (the person who will teach the dance) signifying how Yuvraj has been the person to push Twinkle and Kunj in a position they are today through his self-destructive ways. Yuvraj through his fire has initiated the revelation. The use of birthday signifies the rebirth in the relationship of Kunj and Twinkle and both stepping on the same page to deal with the conflict and tangled emotions in their life.
Twinkle knowing the name of the choreographer, Prince (the meaning of Yuvraj) signified how she has known the intentions of Yuvraj and had been conflicted about how to deal with the developments.
Another thing that stood out was Kunj saying that Usha has never listened to anyone in terms of dancing, reminding us of the ambitious position she has taken in in this track because of the pain of her son and the cause and healer being both Twinkle whom she had just accepted as a daughter.
Similarly, Leela is in a position where she can't support one or another without each other however being the advisor and an active participant, she will upon need allow Kunj to stop Twinkle from immortalizing herself.
Anita today was shown standing outside the Sarna mansion's door then standing inside signifying how she has pushed herself away from the house further in hopes of destroying Twinkle's life who has made a permanent position for herself. Yuvi waking up in a drunken and hungover state and also being super overconfident is reflection of his tripping and falling over his own feet. The man will complete one task with brilliance and then will flaunt his victory in such a manner that they won't even reach there destination and burn themselves away.
Sorry for a super late post. I had a long day then had guests over and they were not the good kind. As for the episode, The significance of the contract and the dress, I would like to leave for tomorrow as this analysis is as long as it is. This episode has marked itself towards the revelation and the stand-off between the two men. Ultimately this track tests Kunj's impact and influence over Twinkle and whether he would stand by her as her protector which he has promised himself to be or not and with the promo released, it is clear that victory will be handed to Kunj as well. The dance-off has begun.
