About her role in Drona, Navneet says, "I am playing Abhishek's step mother in the film. Though my role is not a big one, I had a great time working with the cast and crew. I have finished shooting with them. Some of the crew was from Europe and believe me they were very talented and expert in what they did. I shot a few scenes with them in Allahabad and had a blast."

Quizzed about Abhishek, she says, "He is very down to earth but very naughty at the same time and loves to play pranks on everyone. Thank God I did not become his target."
Any memorable experiences? "Well I shot some scenes in Mumbai. One day after I finishing a shot, everyone started clapping. I thought that it must be someone's birthday but then I realized that it was the last scene of the movie. I just did not know when I started shooting and when I finished. It was such a nice experience."
Navneet says she likes to work with new breed of directors. "They work in Hollywood style, are very professional so working with them is great," states the actress about her preferences.
Navneet's last TV show was Kasauti Zindagi Kay where she played a negative role. She has done three shows with Balaji and is re-entering television with a new comedy show Gupshup Coffee Shop on SAB TV, which starts next month.
She has also acted in successful films like Raja Hindustani, Hum Hain Rahi Pyaar Ke and many more.
