Trisha's residence 8:15 pm

Trisha's mother saw her coming. She looked very upset and exhausted. She quietly moved to her room and lied down. Her mom came to her with a glass of orange juice, kept it on table and sat close to her. She just kept her hand lovingly on her head.

Mom: "Trisha I'm really sorry for yesterday. What's wrong with you? You don't look ok. Beta hum tumhe force nahi kar rahe hai. We just want that atleast tum uske saath kuch time spend karo and then decide for yourself. Your decision would be our final decision. I promise you that. We won't even ask you the reason for denial, if that's your decision. Phir bhi agar tum use ek mauka bhi nahi dena chahti to tumhari marzi. But darling, please cheer up. I can't see you like this, so disturbed. Aise to tumhari tabiyat kharaab ho jaayegi."

Trisha hugged her mom and started crying. Her mom lovingly consoled her for some time and she placed her head in her lap. Trisha was feeling upset and angry at the same time because of Raghav's behaviour this time.

Trisha: "mumma I'm ready to meet him. But please aap apna promise yaad rakhna." She thought that meeting his school friend is not too much ask from her. She would atleast get some time to think. Straightforward denial would look very rude, after all Abhi's parents are her family friends.

Mom: "of course beta. I appreciate this. Would you like to come for a 2 day holiday with Abhi's family so that you get some time with him? You will also get some change from your usual schedule."

Trisha:" ok mom."

Trisha kept on thinking Raghav's insensitive behaviour today. How could he do this? He was always very understanding and had helped her out of such situations many times before. What happened to him this time? May be he doesn't care for me now, she thought. She called up Dilip sir and took 2 days leave. She did not tell him the reason for taking leave. She just told him that she needs these leaves and she sounded quite disturbed. Chief agreed to her leaves as she was usually a very disciplined officer not taking too many leaves and also he had seen her very upset in office today.

Raghav was also blaming himself for his casual behaviour today. How hurt she looked. Ab phone bhi switch off kiya hua hai. How do I contact her now? Shall I go to her house? No thank won't look nice. I'll talk to her and apologise right in the morning tomorrow in office, he thought for himself.

Next day in office, Raghav came to know that Trisha was on 2 days leave. Raghav didn't expect this. He became worried for Trisha; whether she was alright? She is normally not a person who easily takes leaves. He tried to contact her but her phone was still switched off. He kept on regretting his behaviour yesterday as he realised that this time it was not some usual proposal for her. It was something very serious. Abhi is her childhood friend and his parents are her family friends. What if she is not able to refuse the proposal this time? On the top of it, he behaved in this awkward manner with her. Trisha really needed his support, she was so upset and he had betrayed her trust in him this time. He became really tensed and he banged his fist on the table. Rajbir and Bikram saw this and wondered about the reason for his reaction. He could not concentrate in his work in office and decided to go to Trisha's residence in the evening. He had to meet her to make sure that she is fine or not.

Raghav was preoccupied in Trisha's thoughts and her wellbeing when the door of his cabin opened and he suddenly said "Trisha..." but it was Bikram who had come to call him for lunch.

Bikram: "Raghav Trisha yahan nahi hai. Wo chhutti par hai. Tum ab bhi uske baare me soch rahe ho. What happened? Are you alright? "

Raghav: "ya I'm ok. I forgot that she is not here. You please carry on with lunch. I don't feel like having anything." Bikram left after Raghav's insistence.

Raghav went to her house in the evening but found it locked. He asked her neighbours where she had gone but no one knew anything. He became all the more worried. Where and how was her Trisha?

Holiday resort 11:00 pm

Trisha was sitting alone in the garden after dinner and thinking about Raghav's pranks and that brought a smile on her face. Abhi came up to her and saw her smiling to herself.

Abhi: "thank god Trisha. Tum thoda muskurayi to. Varna jab se aayi ho, bahut khoyi khoyi ho. Dinner bhi theek se nahi kiya. Mere baare me soch rahi thi?"

Trisha: "nahi aise hi."

Abhi: "tumse ek baat kahu? Main jaanta hu that you don't love me and I don't even want to force you to love me. But the fact is that I really love you a lot from the depth of my heart. Aur mera pyar hum dono ke liye bahut hai. Ho sakta hai ki aage chalke gradually tumhe bhi mujhse pyar ho hi jaye." He smiled a bit." Phir bhi agar tum mujhse shaadi nahi karna chahti to its ok with me. I'll definitely feel bad but you know, isse humari zindagi to nahi rukti na? What is utmost important is that I just want you to be happy with anyone you marry may be me or anyone else. So you don't need to stress yourself so much. This phase would pass off soon. Tum acche se soch lo aur decide kar lo. Tumhara jo bhi decision hoga, I'll accept it totally. And remember we will remain friends always. Ok... Take care and thoda rest kar lo... just look at you. Tumhe dekhkar koi bhi bata dega ki tum kitne dino se soi nahi ho. Tumhe pata hai tumhara chehra ek khuli hui kitaab ki tarah hai. Tumhe apne dil ka haal chhupana bilkul nahi aata." He paused for a while and said "main isliye to yahan nahi aaya tha na Trisha...dekho tumne apna kya haal bana liya hai? I really feel guilty to have come back and put you in this situation. I'm really sorry Trisha. You please take care of yourself" and he stood up to leave.

Trisha : "Abhi... thanks a lot"

Abhi just touched her cheek with his palm and left. Trisha had a slight sheen of moisture in her eyes on hearing his words. She had never got into such a situation before. While in bed at night she was thinking about both of them. One is Raghav... whom she loves madly but is not sure whether he felt the same for her or not. He never expressed his feelings for her. His only aim in life was to catch hold of his dad's murderer. She always feared losing even his friendship if she expressed her feelings for him and he denied. That's why she never could do that. Other is Abhi... who is her childhood friend, he loves her a lot and a sure gentleman he is for all that he said to her. How understanding he is. He has come all the way from Australia just for her. She kept on thinking about what to do this time? How to avert this situation in such a way that neither Abhi feels hurt nor she has to lose her Raghav.

At Raghav's residence, his past, his dad's murder, his loneliness along with the fear of losing Trisha, who was the only person in this world who was close to his heart, surrounded his thoughts throughout the evening and night and he suddenly he woke up from his sleep and said "Trisha tum theek ho?" he felt as if Trisha called his name. Realising that he was at his home and Trisha was nowhere close to him, he went back to his disturbed sleep thinking about her.

Next day Raghav did not go to the office. He told chief that he wasn't well and constantly he kept on thinking about Trisha and tried calling her repeatedly but her phone was switched off. He went to her residence thrice but everytime he found it locked. His heart was sinking with fear and stress. Where the hell is she? Kuch pata nahi use kya hua hai, wo theek hai ya nahi? How do I find out? How can she do this? How can she be so irresponsible? What do I do now, he thought. He was finding this night as the longest night of his life.

On the other side, after a lot of thoughts throughout the next day, she decided to tell Abhi about her feelings for Raghav and that she could not marry him. Love for Raghav could not be dominated by any logic in the world for her. She didn't care whether he loves her or not. But she can't think of anyone but him. Maybe Abhi would understand her situation. After all she could never think of anyone except Raghav at any cost. He was the only one with whom she wanted to spend her life with. He was everything for her. After gathering lots of courage, she took him for a walk in the evening and expressed whatever she felt for Raghav. Also that she was not sure of Raghav's feelings for her but she was definitely sure of her feelings for Raghav. Abhi understood what she was going through and appreciated the sincerity with which she told him everything and he decided to help her out. He made a plan in his mind and told Trisha about it. She agreed after an initial resistance.
