The traffic situation seems to be getting worse in the city and Rishi Kapoor, wife Neetu and son Ranbir got a taste of the same when they got stuck in it as they were coming for Shiamak Davar's concert on Saturday.
But the younger Kapoor made up for his late-coming as he danced on stage with Shiamak amidst loud cheers and claps!
The cheerful mood got to Anil Kapoor as well as he put on his dancing shoes and joined in. Wife Sunita Kapoor and daughter Sonam could be seen laughing and clapping for them in the audience. Sonam later said that she loves Shiamak and she learns dance from one of his trainers as well.
But it wasn't just all Kapoor camaraderie here. Avanti Birla and Rukhsana Eisa came in together and were spotted having a whale of a time during the show.
Kumar Mangalam Birla and wife Neerja, the backbone of the show, enjoyed every minute of it as well. Dance sure makes the world go round!
The 'I believe' concert rocked all the Kapoors. Vikas Hotwani catches the action
I t's raining stars at the 'I Believe' concert. On one hand when the audience was being treated with some mind blowing dance numbers, there were starlets like Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor with their families adding glam factor to the show.
When Shiamak pulled Ranbir to the stage to shake a leg with the troupe, the crowd just went berserk and how. "We have Ranbir in the house," screamed Shiamak on the mike and yes, the girls immediately were on their toes, cheering and clapping hysterically as Ranbir walked on stage with Shiamak holding his hands. Shiamak's junior troupe went wild in frenzy dancing with Ranbir and the excitement was evident with their smiles.
The 'other' Kapoors were also not missing out on the action one bit. When Anil Kapoor was seen doing a sort of an off-stage wild dance with the troupe on the front row, Rishi Kapoor also made it a point to join in. "It was a great experience to be there. Shiamak is a genius in his field and no wonder everyone enjoyed it so much. Seeing everyone dance, sing and shake a leg was simply amazing," said Ranbir after the show. While the actor was simply in awe of every performance, it was the Bollywood medley that got him kicked the most.
"Every part was amazing and unique in its own fashion. However, for me, I enjoyed the Bollywood medley the best. I feel the energy was the highest at that point of time. When the beats are great and everyone is dancing, you obviously can't resist the temptation to dance yourself. The synergy of the troupe was great and the energy was infectious," Ranbir added.
