Actually the red part is referring to Rajesh Khanna and Dimple. She was 16 when she married Rajesh Khanna.

That's Aamir Khan and the assistant in question is Kiran, whom he met while they were working on Lagaan.

Actually I think you guys are right. After reading it again, I got confused reading the teenage love part. They are referring to both of them having been teenagers and I thought it was just the wife being teenager. So yes Aamir and Kiran. My bad.
