The enigma called Mangala. There are more colors to her than white which she wore most of the time.

I will not use this post to dwell on who is right and who is wrong.

I just want to say that I was intrigued by this character and by the various shades exhibited by her in the course of her journey.

She was a widow and she wanted akheraj to be punished. But she did not had that revengeful attitude towards Harki who never lost an opportunity to taunt her. On the otherhand she loved her children unconditionally and wanted nothing but the best for them.

She was attractive and she was able to keep akheraj away from taking liberties with her. She donned the avatar of devi to put up with a stronger enemy who also killed her husband.

We all know how she saved Nandini and how she made her part of her life. Nandini with her innocent questions and actions won Mangala's heart.

She also knew how gullible people can easily believe anything if told in their language. If Nandini did not happen in her life, her life would have been very different.

I will put a stop here as it will become controversial and lead to endless arguments.

@ bold;
Yes Mangala's character was intriguing and has left a lasting impression on me as viewer. Her journey was holistic.

In life, we often think, "if this had not happened - my life would be different" But some things are meant to happen, and so they happen and end up becoming a life-changing experience for us.

Nandini was bound to happen to Mangala, so it happened, and it formed M's life into new shape, that she neither expected or anticipated.
