Chapter 27
"Taani, tera pati pagal ho gaya hai..Sambhalo ise-" Kabir shouted out so that taani could hear him who is in kitchen. Rey glared at him but like it had any effect on him. Taani come out of the kitchen and stare at the boys, she looked at manik who shrugged in response then she turned to kabir.
"What happened, kabir? Why are you shouting like world war 3 is about to start?"
"He doesn't want to sit horse in marriage." Kabir told her, taani frowned and look at him who shrugged in response.
"You know that i don't like all these. And why to bother the poor animal? I'll come in car to marry you." Rey told her earning a glare from her. Manik laughed silently.
"I'm telling you, beautiful, there is still time in marriage. Change your mind-" Kabir said to her.
"Will you shut up, kabir? Manik, dude, please take him away, warna yeh shadi se pehele divorce karwa dega." Rey said to manik who just laughed.
"Lets go, kabir. We have to meet caterer-" Manik said, holding kabir's hand, he dragged her out of the house where as taani marched toward rey.
"Reyaansh!"
"Please, kitty, you know na i don't like it. Sitting on decorated horse and all-" Rey made best puppy face, hoping it would melt her. Taani sighed, knowing Rey is not a fan of traditions and rituals.
"Fine! But i won't compromise with any other ritual." Taani warned him. Rey nodded in agreement.
"Good! Now come here, Mr. Singhania." Taani signaled him to come close to her. Rey happily obliged and closed the distance between their bodies, wrapping his arms around her waist, he pulled her impossibly close to her.
"Tomorrow is our wedding then our wedding night. Any special plans for that?" Rey asked her, naughtiness twinkling in his eyes. Her heart skipped a beat, she lifted her eyelashes and look at him.
"May be or may be not. Depends on my mood." Taani smirked naughtily. He pressed her belly, he raised his eye brow at her, teasingly.
"Tomorrow night is going to be memorable night for you, and thats your hubby's promise." He whispered in her ear in huskiest deep tone, A shiver ran down her spine, his voice held promise which she knew, he is going to fulfill.
He kissed her forehead and moved back, causing her to frown at him. She grabbed his collar and puled his toward herself with a jerk. She stand on her toes and pressed lips against his.
"This is where you were supposed to kiss-" Taani mumbled against his lips, Rey smiled at his demanding would be wife.
"Now give me a kiss."
"Gladly." Rey captured her lips in his and begun kissing her, first softly then with aggression. She wrapped her arms around his torso and kissed him back.
"Ah! My innocent eyes!" Kabir's loud voice interrupted their moment. Taani pulled away from the kiss and glared at kabir.
"Your eyes are anything but innocent, man-wh**e." Taani smirked at him.
"I thought you will be embarrassed and run away from here, but you surprised me, woman." Kabir teased her, ignoring her earlier remark. Taani narrowed her eyes at him.
"Why are you back? Weren't you supposed to go and meet caterer?"
"I forgot my self phone. And that was really a nice way to tell me to get out." Kabir taunted her who smirked at him. He grabbed his self phone from the table and slide it in his pocket.
"Glad you got the message right." Taani retorted back. Rey shook his head at their bickering.
"I wish you were not this beautiful, it would have been easy to hate you." Kabir sighed dramatically. Taani grabbed a pillow from the couch and throw at him, but he ducked it at the right time and ran out of the house.
"Stupid. I wonder what auntie ate before she gave birth to this antique piece." Taani muttered under her breath.
"Taani, I have to go and check arrangements at the wedding venue." Rey informed her, taani nodded. Rey grabbed his car keys and left from there.

The wedding day
"Reyaansh, Where is my wedding dress? Atleast now give it to me-" Taani almost pleaded infront of him.
"Wait here, I'll be back in a moment." Rey said to her and walked out of the room where as she slumped down on the bed with a dreamy smile playing on her lips. Finally the day has arrived she has waited for. After some time, Rey entered the room with big packet. Taani look at him with excitement twinkling in her eyes.
"Here is your wedding dress. Tell me how it is?" Rey asked her, taani snatched the packet from him and open it excitedly. Her jaw dropped when she look at the beautiful red lehenga with heavy embroidery.
"This is beautiful, reyaansh." Taani beamed in happiness, turning around, she throw herself in his arms, hugging him tightly. Rey smiled in relief, satisfied with himself after seeing her happiness.
"Glad you like it. It is specially designed for you-"
"Well, I'm absolutely madly in love with this dress."
"Great. Now get ready, Kabir and Navya will bring you at wedding venue, I'll meet you there only, at altar-" Rey said to her, taani nodded in understanding, Rey drop a kiss on her lips before he left from there.
