Ray of hopes
Life was wonderful for bani her small family was really happy it was just her dad nishkant dixit and her mother kiran dixit and bani herself no brother or sister bani was the only child they had. Until the worst dream of her life had turned in to reality and had hit her so hard that her little word came falling down around her.
It was bani 20th birthday today she was so happy and waiting for her parents to come back there had gone into the little shopping center that was in mtu abu to get bani her birthday gift which was suppose to be a suprise for her,she 'smiled' at the thought thinking that her parents thought she did'nt know nothing about it.
But life had something else stored for her. Her parent's did return that day but in an abulance on the way returning home there car lost control and hit a truck. Neither of them made it they died on the spot before they where rushed to the hospital.
It had been over a month know bani was completly lost she had no relatives no one to turn to apart from an auntie called billo massi who lived in mumbai city some where she also knew that she was married years back to her billo auntie nephew when she was very young.
But she was only 8 yrs old then and he was 18yrs old, both the family lived next door then but later they had shifted to the city and no one ever kept in contact may be they did'nt want to know her after all what did she have to give them 'nothing.'nothing at all.
One fine day bani house phone rang she answered it and was shocked to find out that billo masi was coming to mtu abu tomorrow to take her with her and that she gone live with them from know on.
The following day billo masi had come and taken bani along with her but not before bani asked
Bani_masi aakhir itne saalon baad aap ko ab mere yaad aaye 'kyon'.
Masi_bani tumhari baathon ka jawaab hai mere paas tum jaana chaahti ho na to sone 2 saal phele jai ka ek accident huwa thai us accident mein jai ke halaat teek nahin rahe os ka dimaag ek 10 saal ke baach ke jaaga pe ja ke tik geya aaj mein apne osee baach ki zindagi tumse magne aay hoon khy tum ose yeh zindagi do gi, varna os ke gharwale ose paagal khane mein bheej denge.Apne jeeyti ji mein yeh nahin dekh paoon gi bani
Bani_masi mein samjhi nahin.
Masi_khy tum ek patni ke hasiyat se mere saath chalo gi mere saath jai ke dekh bhale karne ke liye.
Bani looked up at masi who had tears in her eyes what was masi asking her to do look after a mad man who might evan hit you in his crazy state, but woh tumhara pati hai bani just once, go along and see him just once, teek hai masi mein chaloonge aap ke saath.
Masi_was really happy after hearing this atleast know she could stop jig from sending jai to a mentel assuylum hey bhagwan aap ka lakh lakh sukhar hai.
When bani arrived at WM she was a little hesitantly she bit on to her lip and was introduced to everyone.
Jigs jai only sister who married to aditya who's also jai best friend to.
Nattu jai only brother and who also single.
Dadi aditya mother and jigs mother in law who never get along and always have tiffs over little little things which is normal.
There three kids ranveer anu and sahil.
Ranveer who was happily married to rano.
sahil and anu single and go to college.
And finally she was introduced to jai who seem to be in his own little world playing away with his cars in his bedroom.
Masi_jai dekho kaun aaya hai jai turned around and looked at bani and just looked away and kept on playing with his game.
Masi explained bani that she had always kept contact with her mother and had always up dated her on jai health but cause there was never any improve in it so thats why she never bought the topic up of ever bring her to mumbai.
But today she had no choice but to bring bani her other wise jigs would have sent her munna to a mental assuylum which she might have not been able to bear.
Bani told masi not to worry that from know on she will look after jai, and no one could send jai away any where cause by law she is his wife and before taking any decision they have to consult her first.
Masi was really happy by hearing this she new bani will look after her munna, she also knew that there was a better chance like the doctor had said.
Dr_dekhya agar Mr walia consummated his marriage with his wife there a better chance of him from recovering there's a 100% chance that jaha unka demak rukha thai waha se chalne pare ga.
But roshni had refused to marry jai who had been dating him for the past {3 yrs} saying she cant spoil her life by marrying a man who's mad.
Days past in to weeks and weeks past in to months it had been over {8 months} know.
Bani slept in the same room with jai in the same bed with jai.
she helped jai have a shave in the mornings helped him have a shower, getting dressed making sure he wore clothes that where up to date in fashion she helped him have his breakfast dinner and lunch in the evening, tucked him to bed every night after reading bed time stories to him she looked after him like someone looks after there own child.
Jai had also starting to bond with bani it was always bali bali mujh yeh chiye, mujh yeh nahin kahna, I want to go to play, I wont do this,I wont do that Bani enjoyed spending her time with jai she never thought of him that he was'nt mentally fit she actually enjoyed his antic and so did everyone else at times cause he would cheer them up.
One fine day jigs was chatting away with her kitty friends when jai ball bounced and hit the table with the food on. Jigs as always had lost her mind and started her tantrums ise pagal ko kisne khula chora hai sara khana kharab kar diya she was about to slap jai when all of a sudden someone stopped her hand in mid air everyone in the family had literaly had ran in to the hall way to listen to all the shouting and know was watching what was hapening.
Bani_aaj ke baad agar aapne aisi harkat ke jigs di to mujhse bhura khoy nahin hoga.
Jigs_to is paagal ko kamri mein rakho.
Bani_yeh paagal nahin hai samjhi aap.
Jigs_really khy tumia dekhta nahin deta hai.
Bani_aaj ke baad agar aapne mere pati ko pagal kaha to mujse bura khy nahin hoga aur mein yeh bhi bhool jaoongi ki aap mujhse umar mein bhari hai samjhi aap.
Bani held jai hand and had taken him away while everyone in the family looked on what had just happened masi was really happy at seeing all this about time some body gave jigs there piece of mind.
Finally jai big day arrived in a weeks time it was jai birthday and bani wanted to throw a suprise birthday party for him which just involved the family members in it.
Two days before jai birthday while bani was putting jai to sleep he he kept on playing up when all of a sudden it started to rain very badly and then lightening stricked jai hugged bani tightly.
This was'nt right thought bani the way jai was caressing her back was creating goose bumps in her the light went out one thing lead to another and another to another and jai and bani soul had become one in this night.
The following morning bani was very early to wake up she did'nt know how but jai had become her husband in true sence last night, how was she ever gone tell or explain masi what happened.
She sat on the bed watching jai sleeping who was cuddled in her lap sleeping away she carried on watching him until he started to wake up.
Jai woke up rubbing his eyes yawning away morning roshni how did you sleep sweetheart.
Bani was shocked when she heard jai speak she turned and looked at his face but no words came out.
Jai just left heading for the shower not evan looking who really was in his bed and headed for the shower.
Bani had changed and ran down stair passing the dining table and left the house in a hurry leaving everyone to stare at her leaving figure.
Jai had shower and changed and come down stairs greeting everyone morning, everyone was gob smacked but he was acting as if nothing had ever had happened to him.
Nattu looked suprised and escused himself saying his got a meeting and needs to leave know.
Bani sat at the beach her husband had mad love to her last night, and first thing in the morning he called out for some roshni, she was heart broken gone was the jai who would scream the house down shouting bali bali bali..... for her help, who had become her best friend jai did'nt need her no more,
She had lost everything today nattu watched bani sitting at the beach watching bani crying away for the person who was her husband who she protected like a child from eveyone but today he did'nt need her at this moment she was the child who needed protecting but jai was'nt 'there'for her....nattu was really heart broken seeing bani like this.
The next day jai birthday was celebrated in a big bash nattu did'nt take much part in it cause the person who had planned everything was'nt there to see it.
6 months had passed away know jai was enjoying his life with roshni she was back in his life after jigs had found out that jai was okay again she had made a call to roshni ASAP telling her to get her straight to WM.
It was as if bani had never come in jai life jigs had made sure that everything that belonged to bani was put away in the out house.
Bani had left WM telling masi that she did'nt need her no more cause her munna okay know and could look after hiself and that she's going back to mtu abu, masi had trying to stop her but the hurt in bani eyes was way to much for masi to bear.
Bani had returned back to her old life she had taken on as a teaching job near by a school where she lived cause know she had to think about another person, her unborn child bani was 5 months pregnanat know she had a bump which you could see very clearly know.
She had never phoned masi nor had masi phoned her atleast she could live with the thought that jai is always near by her throw this child.
Jai and roshni had finalized a date for the wedding day and where discussing this at the breakfast table while nattu kept on giving massi the looks.
Nattu_had seen enough for the past months and today had lost his patient roshni khy tum bhaiya ko batana pasand karo gi ke is ek saal phele tum kaha thi aur khy kar rahi thi after you had dumped him when he had lost he mental balance and was'nt evan fit to look after hiself.
Jai looked up and so did everone else at that moment looking at nattu and then at roshni.
Jai_what are you talking about nattu
Why dont you ask masi bhai after all she the one who started all this I'm sure you remember that when you where 18 you got married to a girl called bani dixit but you where never intrested in that relationship cause you where involved with ms roshni chopra hey na.....
But then you had a little accident and you lost your mental balance so ms chopra ditched you saying she cant ruin her life with a man whos crazy and mad.
At that time our dear masi went and asked bani to come and look after you cause she is your wife your beloved sister jigs her had wanted to send you to a mental assulyum cause she thought you where to much to handle.
What a story line it would have made the mighty jai walia has lost his sence and has been put in a menatal assuylum wow!
Bani looked after you like a mother looks after her child, aur masi aap ne ek baar bhi phone kaar ke patia kiya ke vo je rahi hai ya margeya hai, shouted a upset nattu for the first time......
Oh haan agar aap ko mere baat pe vishwas nahin hai to out house jaaye ke dekh liye jiye jahan jigs Di ne bani ka sara saman phekwas diya jaisa ke woh insan nahin thi bal ke....he broke off
And one more thing masi aap bhool sakhti hain aur mera yeh bhai bhi ke bani bhabhi ne khy kiya hai jai bhai ke liye lekin mein nahin I have always kept an update on whats happeneing in her life and let me tell you bhai congrats your going to be a father not very long know and he walked away leaving a gob smacked jai behind along with the family.
After nattu had left jai had asked tony to open the out house and tell him where he had put bani stuff.
After going throw some of her stuff jai had come across some photo which where funny and cute in the own ways jai hugging a girl in her 20 very beautiful slim wearing salwar kameez,with long hair.
Jai_bali he wispered jai was having flashes of the times he had spent with bani running around her, bani chasing him,playing in the bedroom hid and seek, bani helping jai change clothes,shaving him,giving him a bath reading a bed time story to him.
Jai ran back to WM and went to masi and pulled masi, masi bali kahan hai boliye kahan hai mujh oske pass jaana hai abhi isi waqt please.
Masi looked at jai face and just nodded her head in silent....with tears going down her face.
Bani had a long day at work and she still had to mark some of the children work which she had bought home with her, but at this minute she just wanted to crawl in bed and go to sleep.
There was a car parked near by her house but she ignored it and went straight in as always hitting the radio button on and went to make something to eat putting down her hand bag and her folders on the table.
Jai and masi had been watching bani walk along the road 'smiling at children' she was pregnant the glow on her face was something jai could'nt discribe, her house door was open and jai just pushed it open and walked in along with masi.
Jai_you know bali you should'nt keep the door open like this anyone could walk in on you.
Bani had froze in her spot not turning around tears appearing up in her eyes after hearing jai call her bali, it had been ages since she had heard that name.
Jai walked up to her turning her around slowly looking in to her face which she had held down jai very gently held her face in his hand palms and looked at her face.
Jai_ khy tumia ek baar bhi mera khyal nahin aaya bali .
Bani just hugged jai holding on tight to him crying her heart out I'm sorry jai I didnt wanted you to stay in a relationship that you did'nt want to be in you thought I was roshni that morning which I could'nt take.
Jai understood what bani was trying to say and just cuddled her and told her that he had come to take her home.
Later that same night jai and masi had returned home along with bani...
Jai looked at nattu and gave him the look which said thank you mate I owe you one!
4 {months later}
Bani was rushed to the hospital in the night by jai where she had given birth to a baby boy which they had named after jai mother {Krishna jai walia} jai could never thank bani for coming in his life as the ray of hope and filling it with happiness......
