Ardent readers of Star Plus' popular show Saath Nibhana Saathiya woke up to news that the most loved character of Kokila has refused to shoot due to issues with the production house.
According to a report in a leading daily, the actress stated the issue of non-payment of dues and apparently stopped shooting for the show. The daily also mentioned that the amount of money due to Rupal was around Rs.1.25 crores.
We contacted the actress who completely refuted all the rumours. Rupal said, "This is absolutely false news. There is no truth to these rumours. I am on set and shooting now. I would never do this. It is a false story."
Saath Nibhana Saathiya has been in the news off-late for its eye catching drama. The current track is focusing on two parallel tracks - first, where Modis are fighting for Vidya (Sonam Lamba) and her unborn baby and second, where Dharam (Amar Upadhyay) will be dead and Meera (Tanya Sharma) will be blamed.
Rupal being on the set definitely clears the air about her non-payment of dues issue.
