I had written this for my tumblr post, reposting that over here. No energy or patience to write all of that again.
3) Two guys who risked their own lives to save him and his lady and all Corbin could think was about themselves. Normal human tendency abielt extremely ungrateful, never mind the fact Dean would have anyway finished him off upon learning the truth. The only reason he didn't actually was I believe, Michelle.
4) Sam's dying and all he can think of is, is to save everyone else's lives. Such stark difference in a Winchester's priorities and Corbin's. Ah, well, that's because Sam's not a human. He's super human. #SuperHumanAlert1
5) Dean's heightened frustration and vulnerability while making a make-shift stretcher and how he had to compose himself for the sake of others had me in knots. :(
6) Dean's reaction to Sam being dead. No breaking down, no sinking in. He's been in this position too many times now and so he's all already to go out guns blazing and be with his baby brother but eventually deciding to save lives because that is what they do, because that is what Sammy would have wanted him to do. #SuperHumanAlert2
7) The look on Dean's face when he said, 'I'll come back for you' and when he gave him one last look before leaving. THAT face, THOSE expressions, THAT one perfect tear. *internally crying* 🥺
8) Dean's suicidal attempt in order to save Sam. I'd expect him to find other ways to reach Billie but didn't expect this one at all. However, considering the circumstances he was in, this was possibly the quickest method. No use of reaching out to Amara/Crowley/Lucifer or anybody else a) because they're all unreachable right now b) because his biggest threat was Billie in this scenario. He had already lost enough precious time on hands, he wouldn't waste more. Heart-breaking, gut-wrenching and painful (Well, figuratively atleast) though to have watched Dean suffer this horrible way. 🥺
9) The moment when of Sam's reawakening was the moment air started to fill my lungs again. Had almost went numb with the two Winchesters on the verge of dying. Sam's been shot in the gut, he's fatally wounded, profusely bleeding, immensely pained, can barely hold himself up, is losing breath with each passing moment and he takes on two Werewolves, drives himself to the hospital to take down another Werewolf and save his brother's life. IS THIS MAN FOR REAL? Oh yes, he's SAM WINCHESTER. No one gets to take down a Winchester that easily. Would have been such a pleasure had we got to see the look of pure horror on Corbin's face to realize who just took him down like a boss. #SuperHumanAlert3
10) Amidst the chaos, Dean recovers from his suicide attempt like he had just caught cold. No medical attention needed, right back to saving lives. #SuperHumanAlert4
11) Michelle deserves a mention too for being such a brave woman, for showing courage and honesty in difficult times.
12) Not a shipper and with due respect, I think it'd be fair enough to not make every episode and every scene about destiel or any other ship for that matter. We're all free to interpret, speculate and theorize as we like but sometimes, there's nothing really to read in between the lines. That last scene, I believe, wasn't anything to do with destiel at all. Yes, Cas was on Dean's mind at the start of the episode and he probably was at the back of Dean's mind the entire time and why shouldn't he be? He's Castiel, after all but Dean was perhaps just introspecting on his own advice that he gave to Michelle, IMO. That when you have seen the people you love die, when you have seen people you love die for you or because of you, when you have been through all sorts of crap, there's no 'normal' after that. Not really.
13) Sam and Dean walking out of the hospital (like it was just another day at work), in one single piece, heads, hearts and priorities still in place, will and determination unshaken. #SuperHumanAlert5
14) Dean lying to Sam for the umpteenth time. Winchesters don't really learn, do they? 😆
15) Oh and Billie must be supremely pissed. The games the Winchesters play with her kind LOL.
Also, Jared and Jensen are a blessing to this show. They're such incredibly talented and fine actors. <3
