'Please Rishu. Just one spoonful of porridge. Just one!' Madhu was trying to feed her fiance who is acting no less than a mischievous little kid.
'Madhu!' 'You've been telling the same thing even before 10 spoonful of porridge! Yuck! I hate this. Please don't force me to eat this damn thing without any sugar, any salt! Absolutely no taste!'
'Shut up and eat!' 'This is nutritious. Good for your health!'
'Nutritious my foot! I bet even the inmates in the prison gets tastier food than this.'
'Rishu!' Madhu glared at him. She somehow managed to feed his mischievous fiance in the next few minutes.
'Phew at last the torture is over!' Rishabh smiled victoriously after his 'not-so-good' meal.
Madhu smiled at him. She caressed his bald head. All of his hair gone as he had to shave before his brain surgery. He had to undergo a surgery immediately after been diagnosed with a tumor in his brain. It was unfortunate that they couldn't complete their marriage which they'd been dreaming since a long time.
'Madhu please don't torture your future kids like this!' Rishabh chuckled.
'I've seen how moms torture their kids with food with an awful taste which they claim it is 'nutritional' 'I pity those innocent souls who have to undergo those horrible experiences.'
'Rishu. Moms always do the best for their children. They don't want to see their children suffer from any diseases. That's why a healthy diet is important.' Those junk food is certainly not good for kids'
'Haha you sound like a nutritionist!'
'And Rishu. You better not spoil our kids okay? '
'Our kids?' Rishabh's smile faded away.
'Yes! why?' Madhu was confused to see Rishabh's facial expressions.
'Madhu..' Rishabh caressed her face.
'Madhu.. don't keep high hopes about me.'
'What do you mean?'
'Madhu I know you are mature enough to understand this situation.' 'You need to face this reality.'
'Rishu?'
'Yes Madhu. You clearly know my health condition. I don't want to ruin your future Madhu.'
'Rishu what are you talking about?'
'Madhu.. I don't care if you hate me for saying this. But it's time to face the reality.'
'I can no longer be a part of your life Madhu.'
'Rishu?' Madhu was shocked with his answer.
Rishabh was silent. He kept staring at Madhu helplessly.
'Rishu! are you nuts? What are you talking about? I can't imagine a life without you!'
'Madhu please. I don't want you to make hopes about our future. Who knows what's in store for me? I don't think I would ever recover. Doctors said, I might fall ill again even though I have gone through the surgery.' 'How can I let your future ruin because of me?' Rishabh sighed.
Madhu put her index finger over her lips, stopping him talk further. They shared a painful eye lock. Both of them knew that they couldn't live without each other.
'Rishu...' She cupped his face.
'Rishu. We are going to get through this. We are going to jump this hurdle together. This is just another bad phase in life. Please don't fear anything. I'm always there for you. We both have to go on this journey together. Together Rishu! You and me!' 'Nothing can stop us. Okay?' Madhu was looking at him with teary eyes. She had courage. She was strong enough to face the situation bravely.
Rishabh didn't know what to say. He was blank in front of the immense love of his life, Madhu. He hugged her tightly.
'I'm sorry Madhu. I can't. I can't ruin your life.' He told himself silently. He started weeping silently hugging her more tightly.
2 months later
It's been 2 months since Rishabh's surgery. He was gaining his physical consciousness but his health reports weren't 100% good. His recovery rate was slow. Madhu often used to visit him and take care of him. But she was unaware that her parents had different plans on her.
Like every parent, Malik and Padmini was concerned about their daughter's future. They were worried about Madhu. They didn't want Madhu's future to be dark because of Rishabh. They wanted Madhu to stop the relationship between them and to move on.
'Madhu! you are not going to see Rishabh today.' Malik stopped his daughter who was ready to go out.
'Why?'
'Your aunt & uncle are coming.'
'But Papa. I promised Rishabh.'
'Madhu. They are coming from Germany after 5 years.'
'But Papa. I have to go.'
'Aren't you excited Madhu? Gayatri is your favourite aunt. Remember how much you get excited whenever she visits us? What happened to you now? You have changed!'
'Papa. I'm happy that they are coming but Rishabh needs me. I will visit him and come soon. Please let me go.'

'You are not going & that's final!' 'You don't even talk with us properly anymore. Every time you just want to be with that sick Rishabh.' 'When will you understand Madhu?' Malik vented out his frustration.
'Papa? what happened to you? How.. how come you call Rishabh like that?' Madhu was shocked to see the sudden change of his attitude towards Rishabh.
'Madhu. I know it's something difficult to do. Me & your mom have been thinking about since long. We are worried about your future.'
'So what?' Madhu jerked off. She understood what her father trying to say.
'Madhu. It's time to move on. You have to think about your future. We can't let you suffer with a sick husband. Would you think that you can live happily after marrying Rishabh?'
'Yes!' Madhu replied sternly.
'No! It's not gonna happen. You will have to suffer. What if he dies? Your life will be miserable Madhu. Just try to understand.'
'Papa please!' 'Please! let us stop this conversation. And don't utter a word against Rishabh. Nobody can stop me. I will be with him!' 'I will cure him. Yes I will! I will cure him with my love.' Madhu spoke proudly. She was courageous.
Right then her phone started buzzing. It was Rishabh.
'Hello. Rishu. I'll be there in a half an hour'
Malik snatched the mobile from Madhu in the very next second.
'Hello Rishabh. It's me Malik. I'm sorry to inform you that Madhu won't be able to come today. Her aunt and uncle are coming'
'Papa please!' Rishabh could almost hear Madhu shouting from the background.
'Papa let me go!'
'Oh uncle it's okay.'
'Hope you understand Rishabh, Just want one thing from you. Please don't bother her much. She too have a personal life.' Rishabh was shocked to hear from Malik. But he understood what he meant. He too wanted to get distant from Madhu because of his illness.
'Papa! what did you do?' Madhu was angry and sad at the same time.
'You better stay away from him okay? Or else you will regret it later.' Malik smirked.
'Papa I hate you!' Madhu ran to her room with tears, almost slamming the door.
'Madhu?' Padmini was listening to father-daughter duo helplessly.
'Don't you think it is too early?' She inquired Malik.
'Earlier the better Padmini. One day she will thank us for saving her life from Rishabh.'
'Are you sure? I don't think so. Madhu loves him so much. He too. Separating them is way too difficult than you think.'
'Just wait & watch. I will do it somehow. I can do anything for my daughter. I can't let her suffer.'
The arrival of Madhu's aunt and uncle didn't cheer Madhu up. She was happy to see them after so many years but she couldn't stop thinking of Rishabh. Madhu was restricted to go out from her house. She missed Rishabh more. Rishabh too often tried to make her understand about the situation. But Madhu wasn't ready to listen to anyone.
Malik suggested Madhu to go and stay with her aunt and uncle for a couple of weeks at their new house in Pune. Her aunt & uncle purchased a house in Pune soon after they returned to India after their retirement. Both of them worked in Germany and they had no kids. They loved Madhu as their own daughter. Malik had told them about Madhu & Rishabh and sought help from them to change Madhu's mind & to move on.
Madhu has never felt this much helpless in her life. She had to go to Pune with her aunt and uncle. She just couldn't leave Rishabh. Rishabh too couldn't forget her but he always wanted to keep a distance. Meanwhile he resumed working. He thought that it would occupy him to stay away from Madhu. But they were inseparable from hearts.
Malik always made sure that Madhu is not in contact with Rishabh. He even visited Rishabh personally & requested not to bother his daughter anymore. Rishabh agreed & promised that he will go away from her life soon.
Life was miserable for Madhu. She hated her life. No matter how much her aunt and uncle tried to make her happy their efforts were in vain. The bond between Rishabh and Madhu was too strong & nobody could spoil it. Madhu was heartbroken as she couldn't keep in contact with him. She tried to talk to him several times but he refused to talk to her.
She couldn't wait anymore. She decided to meet Rishabh. Luckily she could contact his best friend Aditya. Aditya promised her to make her meet Rishabh somehow. Aditya & his girlfriend Tara were close friends of Rishabh & Madhu and they were sad about their situation & were genuinely willing to help them.
'Adi! where the hell are you taking me to?' Rishabh inquired. He was seated in the back while Aditya was driving to the place Madhu wanted to meet Rishabh.
'To heaven, mate' Aditya chuckled. Madhu didn't want Rishabh to know that he is gonna meet her as she knew that he would definitely refuse.
'What nonsense?' ' Tara? What's wrong with him?'
'Haha just wait Rishabh' Tara winked.
'Hey you guys! If you are going on a date, why are you taking me with you?' Just leave me alone'
'Who told we are going on a date?' Aditya giggled.
'Seriously guys? Where are we going? Are you guys kidnapping me or something?'
'Rishu please. Stop asking questions like a kid. Yeah this is kind of a kidnap' Aditya chuckled.
Rishabh could do nothing than obeying to his best friend. Soon they came to an isolated beach. Rishabh was puzzled.
'Get down mate' Aditya opened the rear door. Rishabh glared at him & got down from the car with a confusion.
Aditya pointed far. Rishabh noticed a female figure standing opposite them. He couldn't see her face. Within no time he could recognize that it was Madhu.
'Madhu?' Rishabh was shocked. Aditya nodded and pushed him to that direction.
'Rishu. She's waiting for you. Go and talk!'
Rishabh walked towards her. Madhu looked back hearing his foot steps. Her eyes brightened after seeing him after a long time. She ran fast as she can & hugged him tightly. Rishabh was shocked to witness everything & he was clueless. He knew that their love was inseparable. No matter how much he wanted to stay away from her he couldn't. Though he wanted to show her that he doesn't care about her anymore. He was dying inside. He couldn't spend a single second without thinking about her.
'Madhu..' Rishabh caressed her hair.
'Please Rishu. Please don't leave me.' 'Hold me tight' Madhu cried.
'I can't live without you. Please don't leave me!' Madhu was pleading.
'Madhu.' He cupped her face.
'Madhu stop this. Stop keeping hopes of something you can't achieve.' Rishabh spoke in a low tone.
'What do you mean? what do you mean Rishu?' Madhu dramatically pulled off his collar.
'Can you think of my life without you? Can you think of your life without me huh? I know both of us can't live without each other. Don't lie Rishu! Don't lie. You can't live without me.' Words started flowing with tears.
'I will die without you. Please don't ask me to go away!' Madhu cried further. Rishabh was silent.
'Please Rishu. Please!' Madhu put her hands together pleading him. Her eyes gone red & she looked exhausted after crying so much. Rishabh clearly knew that he cannot let go of her. In the very next second he hugged her tightly and started crying silently. He couldn't stop his tears.
'Madhu. How can you love me like this?' 'How'?
'Rishu. I love you so much. And nobody can separate us.' She placed a soft kiss on his fore head and cupped his face.
'Look at me Rishu. I'm there for you. Let's go this journey together. We can get through this. Please have faith. Trust me, you are gonna be fine!' 'I will cure you!' Madhu moved her head reassuring that she will take care of him. Rishabh hugged her back.
'I love you Madhu. Thank you for being there for me'
Aditya & Tara shed happy tears looking at their friends, Rishabh & Madhu. They joined their hug.
'Thank you Aditya & Tara' Madhu thanked them.
'No probs Madhu. Anything for you & Rishu. I'm happy about you guys'
'Thanks mate'
'No worries mate' Aditya patted Rishabh.
'Okay guys, it's time to complete something.' Aditya winked.
'What?' Rishabh was confused.
'Your marriage Rishu.'
'I know it was left incomplete 3 months back. But?'
'You guys are gonna be Mr & Mrs. Kundra by this evening.'
'What?' Rishabh was shocked.
'Yes Rishu.' Madhu put her hand on this chest.
'Madhu what are you gonna do?' 'Marry me?'
'Yes! now!' Madhu replied.
'What?'
'Yes. Shut up and go, wear this!' Aditya placed a parcel on Rishabh's hands.
'Madhu you too, I got one Lehenga to you, but it's not good as your original one.' Tara guided Madhu to the car.
'It's okay Tara. This is more than enough. I don't know how to thank you guys.'
Rishabh was astonished with the incidents happening around. He never thought that this would happen. But at the same time he knew that Madhu is too mischievous and she can do anything for him.
Both of them were dressed up as a bride and a groom. Madhu looked stunning in her outfit. It brought back memories of their incomplete wedding. Aditya drove them to a temple near by.
'Madhu. Are you sure of what you are gonna do?' 'Are you sure that you will not suffer with me?' Rishabh inquired before getting out of the car.
'Shh..' Madhu put her index finger on his lips. 'Don't talk to me till we complete our marriage.'
Things happened in a way that Rishabh never thought. They got married in a temple, completing their marriage vows. Only Aditya & Tara were present as guests. Rishabh disliked the fact that he had to marry Madhu without her parents consent. But he could do nothing about it. He clearly knew that her parents would never allow him to marry her. Madhu's love for him was above everything. Beyond any limit.
Rishabh took Madhu to his place. Rishabh's parents were shocked to see them. Radha was happy to hear that they got married. Mohan was angry at them at first with the fact that how would they face Madhu's parents. Madhu make him understood that both of them can't live without each other. She assured that she won't leave Rishabh under any circumstance. She could melt Mohan's heart away. Radha & Mohan blessed them.
Rishabh took her to his room. Madhu was surprised to see his room filled with her photographs. She couldn't visit him for the past 2 months & he has filled his room with her photographs. Her eyes filled with tears. Rishabh hugged her back.
'I know Rishu. You can't stop loving me.' Madhu smiled.
'Hmm yeah. You won Madhu. I lost' Rishabh chuckled.
'No Rishu! Both of us have won!'
Rishabh gave a soft kiss on her forehead. Madhu hugged him. He hugged her back.
They broke the hug after sharing some cozy moments. Rishabh wiped the tears in Madhu's eyes. He came more closer to her. They were so close that they could almost hear each other's heart beats. Within no time Rishabh's lips touched Madhu's. They shared a passionate kiss. They broke apart for some air & resumed it. Both of them were enjoying that luscious encounter.
In the next few minutes, Rishabh took Madhu on his arms & placed her on the bed. He came on her top and started removing her jewellery slowly. Madhu was closing her eyes. He planted kisses all over her body. They slowly started taking off each other's clothes. The time has come they'd been waiting for.
'I love you Madhu' Rishabh placed a kiss on her forehead. After much anticipation they became one soul. Both of them indulged in a romantic love making session throughout the night.
