Too many articles around forced to get people's opinion on this...

Assume in this PROPOSED scenario, the amount of critical and BO acclaim remains exactly the same as in the REAL scenario

Only difference is the Actresses are swapped. EVERYTHING else is the same.

Who now deserves the award?

If dp did twm, people would've said she NEVER deserves any award for a masla and loud film like that. Only artistic artist like kang deserves it for piku😆 such twisted forum😆

I have no doubt Kangana would have made the character of Piku much more deep and interesting than Deepika did, and might have overshadowed AB and Irfan. Yes Kangana is that talented.

Also Deepika is not mature enough an actor to portray the messed up Tanu or a young Datto. Deepika lags behind when going gets serious.

You guys, if you are a kang fan, celebrate her victory. Don't worry about deepika who did NOT win an award and also don't have a release this year😆😆 what's the obsession about dp not deserving when she did not even win? I am not understanding this logic

Based on the assumptions, I would pick Deepika as the winner.

TWMR role is more complex. The actress is required to portray a WIDE RANGE of emotions and still keep the audience interested in the two contrasting characters... regardless of whether they hated one over the other.

I actually thought Kangana got jipped by not even winning Filmfare. Her double portrayal in TWMR is enough to show who deserves the award.

I'm not making this up, but some of my family and friends couldn't believe that the two characters in TWMR were played by the same actress.

+1... some asked me who is the new actress who played Datto? She looks very similar to Kangana... 😆
