SRK's out, but who's in?

The Many names are being tossed around as a replacement for King Khan but Abhishek might make the cut

it's my turn to shine:
Abhishek Bachchan

Ever since Shah Rukh Khan made it public that he will no longer be a part of Raj Kumar Hirani's untitled film based on the book Five Point Someone, speculation has been rife about who will land the part. All the A-list actors in Bollywood want to work with Hirani.

After SRK's exit, many actors sent feelers to the director. Hrithik Roshan and Ranbir Kapoor, have shown a keen interest, but a source close to the director insists that in all probability, Abhishek Bachchan will play the lead in this film.

The source adds "The director was disappointed when Shah Rukh Khan declined the film. It was after the whole Oscar controversy with producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra that SRK decided to opt out."

In due course

The source reveals, "Raju approached Abhishek for the film and Abhishek really liked the script and has given the green signal for the project. The actor is working on his dates currently and only by the end of the month can he reveal the when can he begin to shoot for the film. As far as the Ranbir story is concerned, the actor is been only considered and that too not for the main role, it's a three hero project and he could very well play one of those characters."

Whoa!! now that proves ppl think Shahrukh can play a college going student even at 42 😆 😆
