Those who would have caught the teasers of Aamir Khan's TAARE ZAMEEN PAR would have noticed a good looking 30+ something female who plays the mother of the child actor Darsheel Safary.

She is Tisca Chopra, a popular face on TV after acting in Balaji Telefims' 'Kahanii Ghar Ghar Kii' and also 'Sarrkar'. In addition, she has also been a part of popular plays like 'Mahatma v/s Gandhi' and 'Salesman Ramlal'.

But are you aware that years back she had made her big screen debut as a lead opposite Ajay Devgan in a film called PLATFORM?

Then called Priya Arora, she went on to act in some forgettable films like 15TH AUGUST, BALI UMAR KO SALAAM and TAQDEERWALA. Soon she tied a knot with an Air-India pilot and became Mrs Tisca Chopra. Later she took on TV and theater while occasionally dabbling in films like HYDERABAD BLUES 2 and SAU JHOOT EK SACH.

Now she returns into the bigger scheme of things with TAARE ZAMEEN PAR. In 2008, she would also be seen in Sanjay Gupta's ALIBAUG.

i noe tisca chopra....i loved the show called sarkar...she played ronit roy's wife in there..

she looks alot like the girl in jab we met, Roop, who played kareena's cousin...who shahid was supposed to run away with 😆 😆 tisca looks like an older version of Roop..lol
