People tend to give way too much importance to his "depressing" childhood.. Lots of kids grow up, seeing their parents fight like cats and dogs all throughout the day.. Does not mean they would look like they are high on depression all their lives.. Ranbir just seems to be high on weed most of the time😆

Different people can have different reactions to the same situation. I'm sure his parents' bad marriage affected him. At the same time it is also possible that he could have been raised in Rajshree type household and still became the detached creepy sociopathic guy that he seems now. His eyes looking sad or dopey might be a combination of mental and herbal influences.

We have no way of knowing things for a fact, but he seems messed up and he does seem to be high most of the time. I do wonder why there doesn't seem to any effort from his family or close friends to intervene and help him? But then again how would we know if they do? He's a grown adult who has to want to change himself. Still, he seems to be surrounded by enablers.
