I too saw the promo today, but to be true; I didn't found hate in Raman's eye, there was immense pain in IshRa eyes. Not even guilt rather helplessness. It doesn't feel like separation or misunderstanding. I guess something more is there.
My first thought too went to separation, but don't know I didn't found any reason of separation. It's more like disagreement. Anyways we heard separation/leap on way so it will come up like this.
CVs can do anything. If they are doing something that questions IshRu mother-daughter relationship or rather making it step mother-step daughter concept; they are ruining it badly.
But the truest fact is this promo was heart-wrenching.
