With Valentine's Day and Friendship Day gaining acceptance among Indians, Children's Day (November 14) seems to have taken a backseat. We spoke to some television actors to find if they would be celebrating it with their children and also their memories of this day as a kid.

Shubhangi Atre: Well I will be shooting but I will make sure that I will spend time with my daughter. She likes ice-cream so I will prepare that for her at home and whatever else she wants. I remember when I was in Indore our school was affiliated to an orphanage and on this day all the students used to go and distribute sweets, clothing and such stuff. I also remember that once I cried after seeing how these small kids were surviving without any parental guidance. From that day onwards I decided I will adopt a girl or a boy in the near future.
