Kaif, the baby boy Ritwik in Kayamath, has been a constant source of trouble for Panchi Bora, who plays his on-screen mother Prachi. The shooting of the serial often depends on the mood of the baby.
Sharing her experiences, Panchi tells us, "For the first time in my acting career I'm holding a baby who is so heavy. In fact after a scene is over, I just give him to the person standing next to me in frustration saying pakdo is Bhim ko I have aptly nicknamed him Golu."
So have you watched Heyy Babyy or taken any baby sitting lessons? "Yeah it's an awesome movie. Now I can understand how difficult it is to work with a baby. My mom advised me that whenever he cries just toss him in the air or play some soft music but nothing works with Ritwik."
On her most frustrating scene so far, she says, "There was one in which this baby had to cry but as usual he was showing tantrums and not crying so the scene got postponed and ultimately we had to just pack up."
Panchi reveals that Shabir Ahluwalia (Milind) is the best person to handle the baby on the sets. "The baby is always silent when he is on his lap so we all guess that because of his long beard he must be getting scared," jokes the actress.
Amazingly, earlier the role of Ritwik was played by a baby girl who also used to cry a lot so was she was replaced by Kaif!
