Chapter 10
Rajeev walks in his mansion and sat down on the sofa with a tired sigh. He picked up his phone and dial Kritika's number.After two rings he heard a melodious laghter from the other side . Kritika was laughing.
R-kis baat pe itni hasi aa rahi hai Miss .Kamra
K-Arre vo to bas aise hi , main aur Disha baatein kar rahe the aur ek funny incident yaad aa gaya , to bas hum dono has pade
R-accha to mujhe bhi bataiye aapka funny incident
K-nahi vo mera aur disha ka secret hai
R-accha apne Boy Friend se secrets chupate hue tumhe sharam nahi aati
K-Raj plz na kisi aur din bataaungi abhi mood nahi hai
R-accha ok main baad mein call karta hu , tum aur disha baatein karo , sorry to disturb you
K-are Raj its ok vaise bhi Disha abhi abhi apne room mein gayi , hum log sone hi ja rahe the ki aapka phone aaya.
R-oh ok , to tumhara dard kaisa hai
K-filhaal to thik hai
R-medicines li
K-haa baba leli
R(smiles)-good
K-Raj aaj set par kya hua
Rajeev expression turned serious and then taking a deep breath he says
R-Kriti I think sabko aisa lagne laga hai ki hum dono relationship mein hai
K-obvious si baat hai na Raj , aap jab aise sabke saamne mujhe uthaoge, mujhe dusre se zyada concern dikhaoge , kisi ki baat hi nahi sunoge , to sab yahi sochenge
R-I know Kriti and I am really sorry for that , mujhe pata hai mujhe apne emotions pe control karna chahiye tha , par main kya karta tumhe jab rote hue dekha to main apne aapko control nahi kar paaya
K(smiles)-Raj aap sorry kyu bol rahe hai , ismein aapki koi galti nahi hai
R-no Kriti , meri wajah se humare rishte ka sach sabke saamne aa gaya
K-Raj mujhe isse koi problem nahi hai , aa gaya to aa gaya it doesn't matter to me , sach kahu to main bhi shayad yahi chahti thi ki hamara sach sabke saamne aa jaaye , main vaise bhi thak gayi thi is baat ko chupate chupate
R(shocked)-Kriti tum ye kya keh rahi ho , dekho Kriti ye itni aasan baat nahi hai jitna tum samajh rahi ho , agar media waalo tak ye baat pahuch gayi to vo baat ka batangad bhi bana sakte hai , tumhari image pe asar padh sakta hai
K-Raj aisi kitni actresses hai jinki personal life mein media waale dakhal dete hai , unko naam ek ki bajaay kai ladko ke saath jodte hai but iska matlab to ye nahi na ki vo log unsuccessful hai
R-Kriti I agree with you but jin actresses ya actors ke saath media waale aisa karte hai unki reputation pe jo asar padta hai uska kya , maana bhale hi vo log bahut successful ho jaate hai but jo hamari audience hai vo kya sochti hai unke baare mein ye main bhi jaanta hu .
K-Raaj aap kham-kha itni tension le rahe hai , aisa kuch nahi hoga
R-no Kriti main aisa kuch hone bhi nahi dunga , maine kuch decide kiya hai
K-kya(she asked creasing her brows)
R-yahi ki ab hume ek dusre se distance maintain karna padega
K-Raj hum already ek dusre se distance maintain karte hai set pe
R-no Kriti tum samjhi nahi , mere kehne ka ye matlab hai ki abse hum set pe sirf professionally baat karenge , vo bhi sirf kaam ki , do dosto ki tarah bhi nahi usse logo ko shak ho sakta hai
K(screamed)-Whaaat?
R-yes aur kaam ke baad bhi hum sirf phone pe baat karenge , kahi milenge nahi coz main koi risk nahi lena chahta
K(now in anger)-Raj ab kuch zyada ho raha hai , media ka to pata nahi par aap baat ka batangad zaroor bana rahe hai
R-tumhe jo samajhna hai samjho Kriti mera decision final hai
And then he cuts the call.
K-hello..hello (then she throw her phone on the bed)Oh god ye Raj ko ho kya gaya hai , ye baat ka batangad kyu bana rahe hai , itni si baat ko itna bada issue banane ki kya zarrorat hai (then she glare at her swollen foot) ye sab sirf iski wajah se hua hai , agar aaj mere foot ki ye haalat na hoti to aaj Raj is tarah se behave na kar rahe hote , oh god Raj itna seriously kyu le rahe hai is baat ko , baat karni padegi Raj se (with this she sighed helplessly and laid on the bed to sleep but sleep was faraway from her eyes)
Here at Rajeev's place Rajeev was also laying on his bed and thinking
R(pov)- I am sorry Kriti ,I know main bahut over kar raha hu but ye tumhare liye hi accha hai , afterall 10 saal pehle jo hua tha main nahi chahta ki vo fir repeat ho (with this a lone tear falls from his eyes , he immediately wiped it off as he heard footsteps)
He sat on the bed as he saw Shriya on the door , he asked
R-kya hua Princess , itni raat ko yaha kya kar rahi ho
S-bhaiya vo mujhe nind nahi aa rahi , aap sulao na
Rajeev smiled at her and then he went to Shriya , pick her up and gently laid her on the bed and then he also laid down beside her and starts patting her . After sometime Shriya slept , but sleep was faraway from Rajeev's eyes.
As Kritika's ankles are swollen , so shoot got canceled for two days as she cannot work with her swollen ankle , she had expected Rajeev to come at her home to meet her often but nothing like that happened . He use to come at her home not alone but with other people like Director , Producer of the show or the actors workig on the show . He only calls her at night as he know there would be many people around . At night Kritka will always be angry on Rajeev but Rajeev always succeeds in manofying her . At the end of their convo when Kritika asks him for the reason of his over possessiveness , he only answer her that "main aisa hi hu Kriti", and then they say I LOVE YOU to each other and wish each other Good Night.
After two days shooting starts again and Kritika's foot was also better now , but one thing "the so called professional behavior" between Raj and Kriti is same . Kritika always tries to talk Rajeev like a friend but he always maintain his professional demeanor . Sometimes he also scolds her when they are alone to stop behaving like this but she was stubborn.
One day Raj and Kriti were shooting in Kabir's cabin , all were tired as it was the longest day they have ever shoot from the beginning of Reporters. It was the scene of Shreya's entry and Ananya is in Kabir's cabin for making him understand that there is no reason to get affected by shreya . But Kritka was so tired as well as little bit distracted that she was not able to act properly and due to this they have shoot that scene again and again. Rajeev was also tired and little bit frustrated because of Kritika's behavior as she was not understanding him , So he gets angry and says her loudly to say her lines properly and with perfection in them . This behavior of Rajeev shocked everyone present there and Kritika was more than shocked but she composed herself and nodded , and then by trying hard she finally said her lines and with "perfection" and as Director announced pack up for the day she taking fast steps almost running went to her vanity van and starts crying.
Here Rajeev thought to go behind her but then stops himself as everybody was staring at him . But two person witness this scene , one ran after Kritka and the other one got lost in some thought .
Here in vanity van of Kritika , Kritika was crying and then Disha enters , Kritka looks at her and then breakdown in her arms and says between her sobs
K-Dishu Raj aisa ..kyu kar..rahe hai ... main kitni baar..puch chuki hu...but batate..hi nahi..rahe ..u upar se mere s sath aise ...bartaav kar ..rahe hai..kyu yaar k kyu
"Main batata hu " they heard a voice and turns toward entrance
