Firstly, I wrote a shit-ton and then by whole laptop crashed because of macware. What even is that?
So the episode as a riot as usual but it also brought out the underling problems in Kunj and Twinkle's relationship which need to be looked at and it won't be fixed just by Twinkle's persistence but would need Kunj's participation at equal level too.
Upon a quick digging around, I have found that Rajjo and people with the name are associated with undying love whereas Sangram means War. The name legit translates into War. The title of the show, "Tashan-e-Ishq" ultimately translates into Love and War because the show is about two different definitions of Love and Twinkle provoking a new war because of her ability to chose one kind of love over the other. The "tashan filled relationship" starts in Twinkle's life as soon as she decides to break up with Yuvi and go with her mother's choice which is Kunj. The first war was waged when Yuvi sowed seeds of misunderstandings between Kunj and Twinkle and gave the weakest foundation to their relationship. This track of marriage gives Twinkle and Kunj's relationship a new beginning and a fresh start as they both have been wanting one by giving them the opportunity to fill in the cracks of their relationship with trust, faith, understanding and love for each other. It also foreshadows how Twinkle and Kunj will be together in every war waged against them and their relationship, as long as they believe in their love and are together however they will lose the moment their faith falters in each other.
In the beginning scene Kunj has changed into a brown colored shirt while confronting both the ladies who played significant role in landing him in the trouble he is in. The brown color represents structure, reassures stability and support. It is a calm color and to maintain peace on ground, the color suppresses the emotions in order to create a haven. Kunj changing into brown after wearing brown during the Roka signified the shift in his mood. His anger has diminished itself and despite still not wanting to, he understands the steps Twinkle took and the reason why she hid such a big thing from him that put him in a position with lack of control. I think this transition in Kunj was so much well done by revoking the emotions that came with the bond he shares with Twinkle and her vocalizing that her only hope for the future in their relationship is because of the fact that they are married. I am loving how Kunj's character is showing itself now and how Kunj's flaws are finally surfacing with depth.
Twinkle changes into a deeper shade of peach, the prominent color that is the color of the fruit at it's ripest. The peach color combines the purity of white, the optimism of yellow and the passion of red. It symbolizes the power to heal and provide immunity from the outside world. It provides cover to stability which will allow Kunj to have Twinkle walk along with him. The Peach color also carries determination and courage that extends into Twinkle's personality and her ability to now understand the power and rights she has over Kunj. We no longer will see a overtly-jealous Twinkle as we have seen before because of Twinkle's faith and trust in her love for Kunj and his love for her. Twinkle is not threatened at all by Rajjo and the fake ploy but she is trying to protect her and Kunj's relationship from insulting their bond by turning it into a ploy.
Rajjo has been shown in green as she was introduced and was once again in green after the ceremony. Green is color of prosperity, growth and harmony. It provides the persistence, encourages rebirth and allows endurance and strength to deal with adversity. Rajjo represents the "love" that was seemingly lost for a while underneath storm of emotions but will now bind Twinkle and Kunj closer together and will allow Kunj to understand what the bond of marriage means and how he needs to step-up his game and let his love for Twinkle guide him in terms of their relationship.
The opening scene brought out a frustrated Kunj who is looking at the bigger picture in order to protect everyone. The scene also mirrors the change in Kunj's attitude towards Twinkle. His clarifying that he wants to be with is wife but is unable to brings out the restlessness that has been subsidizing inside him for a few days but he bites back on his words right after and declares that he jus doesn't want any danger lurking. The dialogue and body language of Kunj brought out Kunj's need for Twinkle to be with him however he is NOW conflicted about him understanding the situation which he doesn't want to; thus he brushes off because he doesn't want Twinkle to come to him because of him. He wants Twinkle to come to him because of her need for him. As much as Kunj is denying, it'll be the mutual need and wave-length that would bring both of them at one point to start over.
Twinkle explaining that love is easy but what is difficult is to find find depth through faith and trust was such a slap on Kunj's face but in the most nicest way possible because while Kunj does love Twinkle, he lacks in the areas of trust and faith which are easily manipulated in his mind with anger. Totally loved that scene.
The next scene is with Twinkle walking into the room. I literally loved this scene because it was entertaining and had such a beautiful layer to it. The scene reflected what had happened thus far in Twinkle and Kunj's relationship. Twinkle entered in the marriage scared and lost. With every misstep she was always scared about losing out on being a perfect Bahu because while Kunj always backed her, she had no expectations from Kunj considering the misunderstanding between the two. The lights flicker on and off when Kunj's shadow steps in and once he walks inside the room, the lights turn back on. The whole ordeal signifies how Twinkle and Kunj together bring the best from each other and together they are able to walk without falling. >> The background of the room and even in the previous weddings, the background has been set to purple as Kunj and Twinkle together form a promising bond. Purple combines the stability and peaceful insight of blue and energy of red. The color is once again chosen as a backdrop of sang ceremony and the same Twinkle chooses to adorn in her next interaction with Kunj after the whole bedroom drama. The inclusion of grey in bedroom reminds of the compromises that both Twinkle and Kunj made in the first few months because of a forced wedding however those compromises will dissolve because this time they are entering in relationship with acceptance.
Kunj telling Twinkle the reason of his anger was perfectly executed because his attitude and starting a break with Twinkle literally shook her trust in him and she needed him to say that he never once doubted on her innocence. Her briefly concluding the scandalous incident in few words and telling him the truth while holding on to him represented how slowly she wants him to know that she is with him in every step. I loved how he later just dismissed the topic because Kunj has a habit of suppressing. Twinkle slight smile indicated her realization of getting through to Kunj and eventually they would be at point where he would once again open up to her.
I absolutely loved Kunj stating how it is only a lizard, not a dinosaur. Lizard is the only surviving animal from the era of dinosaurs that has evolved and lived till this day. A lizard symbolizes natural healing powers and regeneration and renewal that helps heal old wounds. So Kunj and Twinkle are still a little torn despite reaching an understanding, everything will eventually be fine between them as they are now together.
The entry of Sangram and then later pouring kerosine around Kunj and Twinkle emphasized that the wars Yuvi will wage against these two aren't going to end and they might be pushed towards an edge but their love in each other will be the one to safe them < marked by Rajjo's entry to safe them.
The expressions on Twinkle's face were to die for when Rajjo turned both of them into brother and sister. Kunj embraced the shock while Twinkle was not ready for another siyaapa to fall on her face like this.
The next interaction between Kunj and Twinkle brought out Kunj's beliefs more clearly. Kunj's character is everything that his family isn't. his father is abusive and disrespectful. He makes sure to respect women. His mother deals with abuse throughout her life in name of traditions. This man disregards traditions and rasamas as he has seen that these traditions have never kept anyone together but created a more forceful toxic environment. He has seen his father and brother invest themselves in business decisions because of their greed for power and he only supports every righteous move. He has seen how much his father does not value family and for Kunj, his family comes before anything else.
*For Kunj, as long as legally and in eyes of everyone he is Twinkle's husband, all the fake ploy that he as unwillingly became a part of doesn't matter to him. Kunj does belief in God but he is a morally driven person rather then being driven by religious-values.
Twinkle wasn't mad at Kunj for willingly enjoying sangeet. In her conversation with Kunj before the ceremony, she was mad at him for not realizing the value of their marriage and not respecting their bond. She was frustrated at him for not realizing the significance and importance of what has adjoined both of them and had brought them together. I'm really enjoying the creative Kunj's character and having Twinkle understand the foundations of Kunj's personality.
Sangeet ceremonies are usually fun filled events where bride and groom introduce themselves. I think the song "Drama Queen" was a nice song for Twinkle to dance too because it brought out the fun-filled ceremony to life and also emphasized on how she tends to exaggerate. Jasmine's dance was really well done and she danced beautifully. Among all the dances she has had done so far, I would say this sequence was far by the best one.
Kuch Kuch hota Hai in one sentences summarizes into "In love and near you but not as near." The song explains how the fluttering of love is awakening once again between the two which was suppressed because of all the tension and awkwardness but it also echos expectations. Kunj made a lot of promises to Twinkle but when time came, he froze but with tensions simmering down between them, Twinkle feels that she can once again hold onto few expectations at least in terms of their relationship. I think the inclusion of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai was really apt and signified the slight progress in their relationship. > Twinkle's green suit depicted her bringing in the harmony and helping Kunj though this new problem where apparently he is her brother.
I have a feeling that Raj actually might end up coming in but at a very wrong time. Also, how is Twinkle and Kunj helping this event management business? They are the worst. How is Kunj managing to skip his MBA classes and still be enrolled in college?
