yes karthikka ...
in my opinion i really appreaciate the producer of anjali serial '' anita kumaran'''because

she has chosen the correct people 2 act in tis serial
* mallika really suits her character as anjali , she is cute and preety
* prajin reallllllllllllly suits his character as a villain (ashok), and he is excellent because he can act as many characters ( ashok , siddarth , 'subramani ') he is a wonderful actor.. 😊
* and there are many more excellent characters ..
the story of anjali serial is different than other serials .
it is about a girls dreams , who has a strong determination to achieve her ambition ....
the theme of tis serial is superb ..
other serials are not like this...... 😊 😊 😊
but , i didn't mean to comment other serials , i just told my opinion....

i am just telling my opinion pa ...
i thinnk i told the right thing 😆 😆 😆

i think anjali is the best serial ever made 😊

am i right ???
who agrees wif me ??? 😆

welcome geetanjali to the forums. Your opinions are appeciated.

Sorry, i have to disagree in some ways like the character Anjali whos being protrayed by the actress i dont believe, shes good in terms of her expressions even though shes making attempts to improve on it.

Also, the characters are pure evil. Like Ashok even though the actors are making it very realistic.

yes geethanjali welcome to this site once again .I agree with u but one thing i cant agree that is the story line where baskar is making so many vulgar, disquisting ,some times very much awkward to watch like ashok/thilaga scene 's if u see that in video 's u will see how director has showed which we have not seen in other serials ,hope in movies we could have ?? but in serials as all the most ladies are watching all over world thru t.v ,cassette's like here sydney we all watch in cassete some times in net ,if it in the net it is ok as we watch alone in with the family i think this should get avoided pa.?/?

More over prajin he is very good actor i agree with u more over he acts well as ashok /pure evil charecter but i disagree with siddarth charecter as he is doing such a waste role ,i am not teasing or insulting like some more that i am insulting the charecters of anjali serial ?see here friends it is some thing we all have to accept which is good and which is bad in serial then only serial like anjali will improve and come in the place of top 10 or what so ever it is???

So u have u take as a word abt the comments and messages of all the people are sending and dont think that we are commenting abt the personal life of the actors and actress as i like prajin and mallika and more over all the charecters in this serial .And we are just commenting abt the charecters so please dont take all of our comments very serious and make a rude decision.

Of course abt the producer is very correct in choosing but for story line now a days is not good ,if he change to decent line then anjali will become more interesting and become in top place.

I agree others geetha with ur comments .Mallika is good in her dumb acting ,

Prajin is always good in any charecter. No words for him as he is best hero in this anjali serial so as villian. He is earning more fans from this serial .Hats off to him .I always admire his acting and i like his acting always.

Ladies, your opinions will never be criticised but I am glad you started this topic because there can be a discussion from both camps.

Let me tell you mine. Please don't get offended because it's my personal views. I am not saying yours are wrong and mine are right and I am not going to contradict you...directly, anyway. 😉

I am very angry at the producer and director for abusing the image of Bharatiyaar and for misleading the audience. When the serial first started, with quotes by Bharatiyaar and Anjali attending an exam instead of marriage, I was thrilled. Esp when they did the build-up...tension, Raja waiting near the marriage hall with the auto, friends calling Anjali....and we were thinking, oh God, she is eloping with another man....and how delighted we were when the director showed that she was running waay...to do her exams!! Now, that was puthumai penn....but that was the only strong incident that showed that the serial was on a different plane from the others. After that, everything or rather most things were just like other serials -rubbish, unflattering and derogatory to women. The serial went totally downhill from the time when Anjali goes back to Ashok and gets abused, not just by him, but also that assistant as well. How low can you get? Is this how an educated woman would behave? Subjugating herself not just to domestic violence, but violence by a third party.

Then there were other things that were disturbing. Date rape, dowry matters, murder, bigamy, violence against women, so on and so forth. I am not saying that these do not happen in real life, but there has been no satisfactory conclusions or solutions to the various sickening situations that the director has created and by extension, the producer has supported.

If you ladies want to see pudhumai penn, please see a movie called Pudhumai Penn with Revathy, directed by Bharathiraaja. In my opinion, 😊 Anjali (the serial) is an insult to women.

Well said Karthikaa.

I think Anita Kumaran is a shame to the feminine gender race as a whole to allow Anjali to take the kind of disgrace 18th century women go through.
If you follow Mallika's interviews, she does not appear to be a very bright and expressive woman. She struggles for words. We have a woman president of India, and a woman prime minister who led the country for 19 years even through war.
I would not expect Anita or Mallika to dominate men and show some reverse racism. Why allow men to use force and show they are physically stronger, how many times are you going to make that point? Does Anita know that a woman won the 101kg world wrestling title against a man?
But women are not represented fairly and like pokkiri payya said, they can do anything as well as men can, or even better.

The domestic violence aspect distresses me. It is a very shocking issue and is still prevalent. It has become less and less acceptable (although in a newspaper article, a survey found that a big number of Indian women not only found DV acceptable but also justified) and we are trying to raise awareness amongst both sexes that this is not consistent with humanity. Anjali stretches patience and has transgressed the boundary of acceptable behaviour.
