Is Marraige The Only Aim In A Woman's Life ???!!!
It was clear in today's episode that the only aim in Shalu's life is to get married!!!!!
It is true that Marraige is an important part in one's life ... But it cannot be the ONLY thing about one's life...
Specially as woman shalu nd dadi should realise that if another woman is saying that she has bad past with awasthi family they should atleast consider checking the family background rather than crying about how dhani did not let her get married to any random( literally ) person...!!!!

Just my point of view...hope did not hurt anyone😊

very well said...
marriage is an important thing but its not everything.whats more important is identity. one should be self respecting and try to have identity of own.
a woman is not all about marrying to someone and dedicating the whole life for others. one needs to do something for one's ownselves too.
the thing i don't like about shallu is she has no aim.she just wants to marry a guy and settle down. its hard to digest. as in todays world every girl wants to do something in life.

Sorry state of most women are like this only.they are told and trained just to make home husband happy.trained to cook and bring up child.no doubt it is important but s woman a life.specially in interior.many girls are not educated or stopped from I dependent thinking.myself also a part if the system.but thanks to some situations in my life I became an independent woman who can take care of NY family alone.thankfully I was educated enough but many ate not.today's parents to encourage and make sur e that there daughters ate educated and independent

Hi nick, thank u for such a thought provoking post.i have my own theory, its a frequently asked question ,what is d aim in your life?
d religion i follow says d purpose for which d Almighty sent us on earth is to live, give birth, obeying d Almighty in every aspect of life.i have interpreted this my way.
the Almighty has created woman with all d beautiful n delicate things, sensibility, love, strength.d aim of a woman should b making her whole existence meaningful.when we fulfill our duties to our family, friends, society, our own selves n our Almighty,d purpose is fulfilled.marriage is a part of our destination, but not d whole of it.woman r not mere machines who will give birth, a woman holds d family together, since d day she was born, she makes a family, she teaches her offspring d idea of right and wrong, which makes d society n thus a good nation is built.only a truly independent woman who knows her significance can do it properly.
i feel bad for shalu, she was never taught to think to make her life significant. her mother never considered her as d pride of d family, she was told that all she needs is to b attractive n fit so that a good family accepts her as a daughter in law.so her sole purpose of living is to get married.when shalu will b a mother she wont b able to give her daughter a better lesson.

True in most families in our society marriage for women is considered to be the beginning and ultimate goal of their lives, atleast that is how the families of girl's portray it to them. Now if the girl gets a really supporting partner or if she is strong enough to be independant mentally or if her parents have a different mindset she can acheive her own goals and ambitions in life. Otherwise girls having other ambitions than marriage and producing heirs and sacrificing for her family members is the norm and anything out of that circle of thought is considered audacious or selfish...a girl cannot think for herself or the betterment of her future only the men can. But times are changing and women are making very good advances in their lives and career.

In the Asian community, a girl should be married by a certain age. Now there are those who have a life outside their home, they have been educated, have careers and then marriage will come as and when the girl is ready. If we compare three main female protagonists around Viplav, we have shalu who has led a pampered life where the male is the person who will decide for her at evry step of her life. Then we have Tanya, who has been given the liberty to educate herself and chose her partner. Her parents are shown as responsible parents. Then we have Dhaani who strted out as a Shallu type of girl and slowly changing into Tanya type. And at the middle of it we see Viplav, who is bringing this transformation. At the end of the day, the men in our life in a way dictates how we shall turn out...
