Police could not do anything during Sarla Maa kidnapping because they were not even given the right info, Like they were never told how she was lost, where she could be based on the info Pragya had.

Police were often used in KB. Abhi was taken to jail for drunk driving (Suresh used them), kindap track- Abhi's first move was police commissioner and in the end also police rescued AbhiGya from the hut (Purab takes police in the end after the statement from gunda bro)...
