Madhuri gets 3.5 crore for 'Aaja Nachle'

Mumbai - Nov. 10 - Bollywood Queen Madhuri Dixit, who is all set to make her comeback in her much anticipated movie, "Aaja Nachle", under the Yashraj banner got paid a very hefty amount for the movie. It is being reported that the Producer Aditya Chopra asked her to decide what amount she wanted for the movie, and she asked for a staggering 3.5 crore.

This is a very big amount for a female actress, because normally top bollywood male actors ask for this kind of amount. But maybe Madhuri felt it was all justified due to the fact that she was paid 1.5 crore for Devdas, which was back in 2002. And now the industry is dying for her comeback as well as the public, so a little increase in the price wasn't much. This also makes her the highest paid actress in the industry.

It is being said Aditya Chopra had no qualms about this, he himself was happy to pay her, because he felt an actress of her calibre and aura could've asked for more, and he would've been willing to pay.

Maybe Madhuri felt she was no less than the hereos, like Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, who get 3 crore for each movie, and King Khan who gets 4 crore per movie.

Waah! Madhuri, what a comeback!

I think it's great that Madhuri got paid the amount she wanted, cuz afterall she is the only actress today who can stand up to actors like Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan.

So kudos to Madz. 👏 😛

Oh I just read somewhere that Aish, Rani, and Preity all the three get 2 crore per movie.
