The first incident at the basketball court, in disguise of anger, he reminded her that there are more unfortunate souls around than she is and she should go back to her loved ones- her mom and dad, whether or not she comes back to him. She doesn't want to listen- yet she goes and does just that.
In the locker room, he reminds her that her patients are as important in a doctor's life as her family, and after Sumits attack, again says that he has complete faith in her that she can balance both lives very well- she looked very convinced, even though she didnt say anything.
Why is it then, that she is so unjustifiably ungrateful? Why doesn't all the life changing advice Armaan has given her overshadow that one lie that he didn't even tell? Is this not a flaw in her character that such a minuscule thing- which actually has several justifications if anyone bothers to sit down and think about it- makes her (a doctor therefore a supposedly logical person) forget what a true angel in disguise Armaan has been in getting her through this difficult time?
