Sumo was stupid and immature 10 yrs back. There is probably more to the flashback scenes and lets assume that she spurred Shravan on and ditched him in the nth minute. Its 10 years later, Sumo has apologized and is repenting for what she did back then, Shravan knows this from day one. But that is not enough for him, he wants more blood. What does he do? Lead her on, bribe her with gifts to get her to where he can pay her back.
We were upset about the dress tearing, wardrobe malfunction scene. But, that was beautifully shown to portray the love and affection that she has for Shravan and how she desperately wants to mend their relationship. She is not even keen on attending the party... She even tells Pushkar, where Shravan is she would not be, but ends up changing her mind only for Shravan. He plays with her feelings and lies to her. Shravan of the past might have loved her... but the current one is very cold and calculating and seriously has programmed himself to not care about her. Yes yest was cute... but other than calling her Sumo everything was measured, he is guided only by his brain. Sumo on the other hand is all heart.
The party is going to break her heart, powder puff is going to throw some insults at her, she will come out of it. But, the trust and hope that she had on Shravan's cause would be lost and there lies the tragedy. Who could blame her... this guy can sound and act so genuine but can back stab you in a minute. Sumo is going to put as much emotional distance between them as possible. Loads of hurt and responsibility piled on her; she will again get up from the fall and move on with life, as she has always been doing - like a Phoenix. Shravan left her without giving her a chance to explain, he is again being the judge and jury.
So what is even going to stop Shravan from leaving to London, now that his revenge is successful? And what is that father son conversation. It did not look positive to me.
2C is a huge sum even to the rich, Mr. Malhotra is giving so much importance to his brother's family that he is going to let his own son feel like a second citizen at his home... and pretty soon too. As he would turn a blind eye to the scheming ways of his SIL.
I wonder if Sumo is even going to drive her relatives to the Airport after this fiasco... somehow it would feel strange to not see them for some time... I guess something will go wrong there too! One more difference between S2 and Sumo... Shravan was privileged enough to go back home and fly to London. Sumo has to go back home and run errands for her thankless relatives.
Amidst all this drama, Sumo WOULD confront Shravan like she did at the Jagrathe night. If one bagode worked him upto such a frenzy, wonder what this confrontation is going to do to him!
