Hello.😳
I hope someone will remember me.
I have been out of the forum for a long time. I had lost my inspiration and also life was hectic.
But recently I have been hit with a new wave of inspiration and immedietly penned this down. 😊
Now I know I have two stories left to finish, but I have frankly lost my connection with those two, though I will try to finish them off.
But I promise I will finish this one, if anyone wants to read that is. 😆😆
This is very close to my heart and if you don't like it, please let me know and I will stop this immedietly.
Now this story is really about Swara and may feature less of the other characters but ofcourse this is a SwaSan story, just in Swara's pov.
Here I'm posting a short prologue and I will try to update the first chapter somewhere next week.
And lastly I typed this whole thing from my phone, so please ignore typos and errors till I get the time to edit them. 😳
Well... Here goes.
Almost Yours
The place looked surreal. The little pixie like lights cast an almost magical glow, to the well decorated corridor. There were beautiful flowers arranged in intricate designs on both sides, all of them white. The red carpet added to the beauty in a very appealing way. And at the very end of the corridor was a magnificent door holding a subtly woven design made with more white lilies. It was enough to make anyone who passed these walls to admire the carefully laid out decorations. After all, what was the point of wedding decorations if it didn't make a few people gasp, though a bit of waiting was needed before that happened. It was too early for the guests to arrive. But at the very start of the corridor, a lone figure stood hesitantly. She saw neither the lights nor the beautiful flowers. She gazed forlornly at the door at the farthest end completely unaware of its purpose to draw attention. None of it mattered to her. The only thing that mattered was that beyond that door lay the reason for her struggle. On the other side of that seemingly harmless door lay the truth she had been running from for years. 'Maybe I should just leave' she mused mentally as she stood there unmoving. She just wasn't strong enough and maybe will never be. She closed her eyes as in pain and it all returned like she knew it would. Twinkling chocolate brown eyes, a heated gaze only she could feel, the sound of a laughter that filled her with happiness, the distinct feel of a strong hand and a song in her playlist that she had skipped for years. A lone tear escaped her right eye and she furiously wiped it away trying to hold the rest of them which threatened to escape. She almost turned back before she felt a soft hand in hers. She jumped and for a moment tried to wrench it away before knowing who it belonged to. She saw a beautiful girl dressed in a pink lehenga wearing heavy accessories only suited to a bride. Her hair was in intricate plaits and she seemed to light up in the beautiful ambience. She had a questioning look in her eyes filled with concern. She seemed to be transferring her strength to the other through their clasped hands as they always had. And thus Swara and Ragini stood there, hands clasped, one lending the support the other very much needed. And after a long time of contemplation one of them nodded and the other slowly smiled in her favour.
