There was one serial that used to come on Sony "Choti si Asha" , even in that serial lead male character dies leaving behind wife and 3 children ..
Meri Awaaz today reminded me of that serial .

The way the family is dealing with Rajaram's Loss ...is just so simple, so natural ..and so Heart touching..

We have seen so OTT death dealing scenes that THIS SIMPLICITY was Just LOST somewhere...
I am so Thankful to Makers for Bringing this Back,...

The Scene where Kids looking at sky , closing eyes and talking to Rajaram...Ahh...I sobbed so badly there..
They all 3 were talking at the same Time ...and the best touch has to be Devi sitting next to them and looking at sky with closed Eyes...Ahhh..šŸ’”ā¤ļøšŸ˜

Hope this Simplicity is maintained , because This is the USP of this Show .

This show is just beautiful. I am in love with a hindi show after so many years.
Reminds me of those old shows I used to watch on Doordarshan.

True Asmita. The simplicity is the real strength of this show. What a powerful scene it was! You were right Asmi. The children lost themselves completely in the situation they created for themselves. A moment to speak to their Baba. A moment to be with him. He was nowhere around, still he was very much present. The scene ended on Devi. She sat there with her eyes closed, lost in her own silent conversation with Raja and listening to her kids speaking.

Then the kids tell Aaji about their conversation. How beautiful was that. There was no OTT crying, just a calm acknowledgement of their loss. And in such circumstances we run to the past, recalling it, recalling stories about the person who is gone..smiling and laughing at the memories.

Aaji and Devi must experienced so many deaths around her but one death changed so many things for them. They broke so many social 'norms' realising the hollowness of the norms. Visited the funeral pyre, girls gave agni to the pyre, Aaji supports the girls singing during the mourning period. This really shows how special Raja was. For him the society changed.

Devi is one fierce lady! Simple, silent Devi showed her fearless side when it was required.
