We asked Priyanka to list her most memorable moment and the temptress drew a scroll of 7! Mimi (as she is fondly called) enthuses us with her snaking list. "When I first visited Sonmarg in Kashmir, I remember Dad sing me a song outside a log cabin where we stayed put. This would top my list. What comes a close second is the birth of my brother. The time when I bagged a role in a school drama is equally special. Also, the moment when I topped an IQ quiz that allowed me a US scholarship will never wipe out from my memory" she fondly remembers.
"There was this instance when I was the only Asian student to be selected in the school choir at the Lowa State Level western classical concert. It was a huge high for me! I once met Alisha Chinoy and had always thought of her as a pop-diva from her Made-in-India days. I was thrilled to bits! Not to forget the Times of India phone call to inform me that I had been picked to participate in the Miss India contest. I was in a stupor, almost!" Hmm… we drawl. "Quite a truckload, nah? But these are moments that are burnt into my memory" Priyanka says dreamily.
