The episodes are full of fluff honestly and I hate fluff episode as you all must know by now but since this couple has already enticed me with their chemistry and cheesiness, I am going to stick around. The episode had very little defining scenes so I'll just highlight those.
The episode started with Kunj having Twinkle stand and taunt her with choosing to do what she pleases and how that has always ended up in her getting in trouble. What I particularly loved about the scene that this was the first time in any of their fights that Twinkle didn't deflect Kunj's words instead she challenged him right back. I loved how both Kunj and Yuvi were standing in a line in front of Twinkle. I loved the challenging streak in Jasmine's eyes when she said her husband would always make sure that whatever happens, she won't be the one hurt. The words were for both the men to strike back if they can.
Chinky to the rescue every time they is a problem between Kunj and Twinkle. I loved how she came through for her friend. Honestly I loved how both went in and planned to get the singer for Pinky's wedding. It was so adorable and brought out the mischievous side of Twinkle that we saw in earlier episodes.
Oh by the way, we are only going to be seeing in either purple, blue or red during this track. Purple, the color the combines the determination of Blue and the passion of Red was what Twinkle wore as she took charge of the business and the next combination that she wore in the engagement. There's one thing that has been defining trait in Twinkle is her determination. Her determination allows her to continue to go to extra lengths for all the people she love; it allows her to prove herself repeatedly and take up challenges. It is also the only trait in her that Kunj always underestimates because of her impulsiveness. Kanji's clothes in the dance represented his love overpowering his sense of loss for his father.
The song Jogi-Mahi took an inclusive look into Kunj's feelings which have been bit overshadowed by Twinkle's plight in recent episodes. The verses of the song talk about how Kunj came in Twinkle's life and took care of her when she was emotionally fragile (Yuvi's betrayal and her mother not talking to her); but despite all the teamwork and both being by each other, the love between them was lost. Now, I strongly believe that Kunj held feelings for Twinkle despite the anger and resentment he held on to from their union. He was also the one to mention talks about love and them not having a typical husband-wife relationship whereas Twinkle only held onto his companionship because of the protection and stability he provided to her internally. It's so ironic because Kunj was a monster in her eyes for trying to take advantage of her but at the same time she felt the most comfortable with him then she ever did with Yuvi. Coming back to the song, it translates how Kunj has been waiting for her to open her heart and he will continue to wait. It also echoes that he wants her to come to him which she is bluntly refusing to do so by declaring that she won't step into the room until he calls her himself. Overall, Kunj desperately misses Twinkle but he feels justified in his stance to not voice out his thoughts and suppress everything; that Twinkle comes to him and instead of arguing over little things, she stay with him and give him the strength to overcome the problems himself. The song continuously mentions Heer-Ranjha along with the couple in the movie and I think this song was perfect depiction of Kunj's feelings in terms of what he thinks about his love after hearing O Ranjha from Twinkle's end. If only these two weren't that stubborn.
The next up is Twinkle taking care of Manohar despite his sister being present. While Manohar has always believed Twinkle to be lucky, it is not just luck that comes with her but also her love and determination that comes in her for her family that allows her to draw and give strength to her family members. Once Manohar gets better, this trait of Twinkle would be visible to Usha as well.
Oh lastly, the mangalsutre scene. Now Twinkle does have a lot of trust in Kunj but she is losing her faith in him. The floating heartache probably along with Kunj refusing to budge and being frozen in his anger has not given her much to hang on to in her relationship that basically just started. Her faith is weakened in Kunj but the remaining that is, s because of her marriage. Marriage puts an official label and stamp not just spiritually but also physically in front of the world for two people to be together. Now Kunj has once twice before threatened Twinkle during Yuvi's childish phase that he won't waste any time in breaking their marriage if in anyway she is responsible for a problem with her family but till now he has not himself separated her with himself until suggesting a time-out. The fact that are still married is the only hope Twinkle can rebound with. I think the reason that Kunj was surprised at her choice of words because he has not been thinking about the impact of everything that has happened on Twinkle. I think from hereon, we'll see Kunj slightly shifting in his stance of mourning the loss of control in this situation and he would soon try to get his life together.
The toppling of Twinkle's faith is depicted when Kunj leaves without her but it takes for Bebe to count until four and remind her that Kunj would be back. Four is a number of stability. Kunj's grounded nature has always brought stability in Twinkle's life. Kunj is back with Twinkle but he is going to take a moment with himself to figure things out because of being frozen in anger till now.
Little moments here and there. It was a good episode. Not the best though, imo. Please leave your thoughts.
