Part 14

Vicky seeing Dev has screamed with excitement Dev Bhai you came finally , come see my new Bhabhi

Vicky than got hold of Geet saying Geet Bhabhi meet Dev Bhai he is a childhood friend of Maan Bhai

Dev just stood in front of of this beautiful innocent woman not knowing what to say or do when Maan arrived hugged him and than he told Geet about his friendship with Dev .

Maan had noticed than that Geet just greeted Dev but she felt uncomfortable in his company she for the first time held Maan's arms tight trying to send a message to Dev that she is taken she felt weird in front of Dev she knew he is a close friend to Maan but his looks on her made her feel as if Dev is some harmful virus .

Maan on the other hand had not noticed Dev's looks on Geet and tried to make Geet comfortable in front of Dev by securing his arm around her waist Geet felt shy yet she also felt comfortable with Maan's touch she knew he would always stand strong by her side .

Maan had told Dev that he and Geet have registered their marriage but for the world they are only engaged he further told Dev about the death of Geet's parents and the danger that surrounds her life .

As Maan spoke about Geet's parents he noticed her and felt her shiver he knew instantly that Geet had suppressed her grief , she had cried out that first time in front of him and his Daadima but after reaching USA she withdrew herself into a shell until Tamy had told her that her Shamila Bhabhi is also here in USA in the hospital that she started living and paying all her attention to her Bhabhi but she never had the actual time to truly grief and this thought really scared Maan because he knew later it would effect Geet , he needed to let Geet open up about her grief and he will do that once they together in USA .

Dev had planned a trip with Radhika for few days but now he also was consumed by Geet's beauty he never in his life wanted to hurt any Khurana but now the new Dev only thought about his lust and desires he also knew that Maan and Geet was leaving to USA and he knew that Maan will be with Geet for some time he had to go to USA and find Geet for himself too ,

While Quintin in thoughts was also thinking how to get hold of Geet he first had a score to settle with her but than he also thought if he could befriend her make her trust him the way her family had it would be easy to get his job done .

Maan and Dev have spend all their time together while Geet was with Daadima she did not want to be near Dev

Radhika in the mean time was preparing to leave with Dev and was very excited on her expensive jewels and outfits she knew she hit a gold mine with Dev she just didn't know to let Quintin know the truth

Time arrived for Shamila Bhabhi , Megha , Geet and Maan to leave to USA , saying their goodbyes to all the driver took them to the Airport while Dev left too as he needs to get ready to spend some days with Radhika .

16 Hrs later the flight from India landed in Washington , Maan had two missions on hand first to get to know Geet and second she needed to deal with her grief .

They all took a cab and went to Tamy's place , Shamila had asked Maan and Geet to take some rest but both said they will rest much later ,

Geet decided to start cooking while Maan was watching TV and once Shamila left the two alone Maan decided to go into the kitchen . walking slowly without any sound he neared put his arms carefully around her waist so when she jerked herself she came more close to Maan allowing his chin to settle on her shoulder ,

Geet instantly blushed feeling shy and at a lost for words she slowly lifted her hands up and reached the counter so that she could hold it tight maybe out of nervousness of maybe just a reaction out of shyness Maan took his one hand from her waist and held her palm in his hands slowly loosening the hold of her hand on the counter so that her hand was free and Maan intertwined his fingers with hers making Geet shy ,

Maan repeated the same with her other hand too until both her palms were flush against his he waited for a while too see if she will try and get her hands out but she did not try giving Maan more courage and confidence he softly whispered near her ear "Jaan what are you preparing can I help you"

and Geet shook her head in a negative way making Maan to laugh and instantly she bowed her head she just didn't know what to do at this point but again Maan said

"Jaan if I help we'll get quickly done and you can take me out for a while I've been to the hospital only so will you take your hubby out"

at this Maan took his hands that was holding Geet's and wrapped it around her waist , he held her tight and she was melting in his arms this was the very first time they were this close to each other as other times Maan was consoling or comforting Geet ,

both liked the closeness Maan turned his head a little and place a gentle kiss on her cheek making Geet burst in shyness.

Maan than said "I'm only leaving you for today but remember whenever you prepare food I'll be here to help you "

again kissing her cheek he left to phone his Daadima while Geet took some time to recover and concentrate on her cooking .
