I was watching the scene where Kunj and Twinkle meet for the first time. They are asked what love means to them, their words are almost prophetic with regards to the current situation.
Kunj says that love is friendship. He wants a true partner. A confidante in every aspect, someone who shares everything with him, whether it be good or bad. Thats how he defines love. Complete and total trust and honesty. He feels betrayed that the woman he loves didn't trust him enough to confide this huge secret with him (honestly i find this a little hypocritical considering he kept her dad's identity a secret from her).
Twinkle on the other hand says love is pain. That even though love leaves your heart it leaves pain behind. Thats exactly what happens with her every single time. First she loved Yuvi with a passion and intensity that blinded her. She was devastated when that love crumbled but she had Kunj to lean on. And now that she has realized her love for Kunj, she feels like she has lost him. That scene with her running behind his car screaming that she didn't do anything wrong and her happiness in thinking that Kunj returned for her gutted me. But that in essence has been Twinkle's journey in love. She has a flash of happiness only to be followed by a tidal wave of pain.
