Jassi and Purab sitting inside the restaurant. Armaan and Raj sitting in the car outside the restaurant. Jassi is surprised that Purab called her since they had just recently met. Purab asks her if she works for Gulmohur and adds this is something that he just got to know. Jassi looks surprised; she nods her head in affirmative. Purab tells her that he plans on buying few shares of Gulmohur. Jassi wants to know who is the shareholder. Purab lies to her. He tells her that the concerned person holds small number of shares and the shareholder knows her. Jassi is surprised that a small shareholder knows her. Purab adds that the shareholder has praised her work. Jassi smiles. Purab asks her whether he should buy the shares. Jassi looks pleased at the thought of Purab purchasing shares of Gulmohur. She replies in affirmative and when Purab asks her if Gulmohur is doing well she says that it has been doing well.
Armaan and Raj are wondering what is going on in the restaurant. Armaan cribs about Jassi's behavior. He wants to know about this new person in Jassi's life. Raj wonders about the same too. Raj is confident that Purab is the one who Nandu was bitterly talking about at the restaurant. Raj says that they (Raj and Armaan) are stupid and were off-track all this while.
They first concentrated on influencing Nandu and then they pataoed (wooed) Billo. Also, all the while they also tried to woo Jassi and now they have come to know about this new person. Armaan shakes his head in anger. He says that Jassi kicked her job and is now kicking Kohinoor as well. Raj tells Armaan that they cant let Jassi go from Kohinoor.
Jassi asks Purab that since he is a businessman do big businessman look down upon chotte log (small people, as in financially poor). Purab smiles and tells Jassi that it is not true. He tells her he remembers a poster. A poster that is available and seen by most. This poster is of a vast sea and small boat with a man in it. This man is nothing in comparison of the sea. I guess he is comparing the man in the boat to a businessman. He says to be a successful businessman one needs to have lot of experience and respect for others. Purab tells her that it is important to first sit on the boat. Jassi asks him what happened if someone was scared of water. Purab says that there is no need to be scared of water. He asks her if she is referring to herself or her boss. Jassi looks flustered. Purab tells her that from what he has heard so far, her boss appears to be boring. He suggest that she get some adventure into her boss's life Jassi says that she has never experienced adventure so how can she bring adventure in her boss's life. She adds that she has never been on the boat to the Elephanta caves nearby. Purab has a vision about him and Jassi on the ship deck
Nandu enters the Walia's home and comes face to face with an impatient Billo. Billo asks Nandu about Jassi's whereabouts. Nandu has no clue. Billo sarcastically asks Nandu if he moved shifted to Sri Lanka that he does not know. He mutters about what important work Jassi could have in the office.
Nandu in self-pity says Jassi is ignoring him. Just then Jassi and Purab happily enter the house. Jassi asks AMRIT to get lassi for Purab and her.
Jassi goes to her room. Nandu and Billo look on surprised. Purab greets Billo. Billo gives him a cold stare and leaves. Purab says something to Nandu and Nandu also gives him a cold stare look and leaves too. Purab looks surprised.
Jassi is in her room. Billo walks in and asks her what happened at office.
She looks at her dad and tells him that she has said no and informed them [Armaan and Raj] that she cannot return. Billo is not happy and reminds her that she went against what he wanted. Jassi says that she only followed what her heart wants. Billo looks hard at her. He asks her if it's the heart or the new friend who is responsible for her decision. Jassi looks surprised repeats 'mere naye dost ne!' She immediately tells him that Purab has nothing to do with her decision. She tells her dad she does not want to go back to Gulmohor. Billo tells her that her new friends and new job have just come but she should not forget her old relationships because of that [agree!] and not run after money. Jassi looks hurt and says that she is not after money. Billo asks her why does she not go back to Gulmohor. Jassi says that she does not want to go back. Billo looks resigned; he tells her that if she does her job half heartedly at the new company then she will be cheating them. Jassi looks pensive.
At Gulmohor, Armaan is in his office. Raj comes in and calls Armaan 'aalam panha'. He looks at Raj. Raj tells him that his 'praja' (staff) wants to speak with him. Raj calls them inside. Ruby and Bindiya enter the office.
Ruby and Bindiya ask Armaan if Jassi is leaving. Armaan is shocked to hear this, as he had not expected anyone to know. Ruby and Bindiya ask Armaan not to let Jassi go. Armaan looks at Raj and whispers that Jassi betrayed him as she had promised that she wont talk about her resignation to anyone in Gulmohor. The gang heard Armaan and quickly clarify that Jassi did not tell them anything but they came to know. Armaan does not believe them. Raj tries to reason that there are other people also in the office who could spread news for example Mallika. At that moment, Mallika walks in and asks whether Jassi was leaving. Ruby looks at Armaan and requests him to persuade Jassi not to leave the company. Raj tells Ruby and Bindiya that they cannot force someone to stay but they will talk to her about it. Ruby and Bindiya thank them and leave Armaan's office.
Mallika pouts and complains to Armaan for not telling her that Jassi has resigned. Armaan is shocked to know that Mallika also knows.
Pari is in Aryan's office. Aryan asks Pari rudely what she wants and she should stop scaring him. Pari teases Aryan about how he can be scared of her assistant. Aryan frowns and says 'assistant?' Pari tells him that she and Aryan should share secrets just like Jassi and Armaan. Aryan gets a call from Purab. He asks Pari to leave. Pari turns to go…but remains in his office. Aryan turns to take the call. He thinks Pari has left the room. He attends Purab's call. Purab with interest asks Aryan about the shareholders. Aryan says that they all have said yes. Purab wants the yes on paper. He keeps the phone and dreams about him and Jassi on the ship's deck. Pari asks Aryan if the buyer had called.
Aryan is angry that Pari was still in his office. He gets angry on her…She gives him a warning. He somehow manages to cool down.
Mallika meanwhile tells Armaan that there was a party previous night and it must have been Jassi's farewell party. Mallika complains that she being the vice-chairman was not informed about the head of finance resigning. Armaan looks at Mallika and says that Jassi has not resigned. Mallika acts like she is confused and asks Armaan to take his time and tell her if Jassi has left or not.
Hansmukhi calls up Billo and tells an annoyed Billo that she is extremely excited that Jassi will be working with her. Billo is rude to her while Hansmukhi laughs her way through their conversation.
Jassi and Nandu are in Jassi's room Nandu asks Jassi is she has left Gulmohur forever. Jassi asks Nandu when did she say that she had joined Gulmohur forever. Nandu complains that she did not tell him about her decision. Jassi is surprised and reminds Nandu that she did tell him. Nandu asks her what will happen to him, he responds to his own questions with sarcasm. He tells her that nowadays animals are banned in the circus, so will work in the circus or clutch a torch in theatres to show people their seats. He then offers to take Jassi for a movie where he will pay for everything. Jassi declines the offer and says that she wants to watch the new serial 'yeh meri life hai' She offers to make popcorn and then they can sit and watch together. Nandu asks her if she wont change her decision when Purab comes. Jassi is surprised and says that Purab would not even bother to come there. She jokes that they two will only be working in the circus and both have a good laugh.
In the hall, Billo is reclined on the swing (julla); AMRIT, Bebe and Purab are standing. Purab asks Billo if he can take Jassi out to give her a surprise. Nandu is angry to hear this and looks at Billo for his response.
AMRIT looks pleased and gives a sideway look to Bebe who also gives her a pleased look. Billo rudely tells Purab that his daughter does not like surprises and she does not go out like this and nor does he allow her. Billo also adds that he is not happy that Purab took her out (for the ice-cream) without his permission. Purab says that he realizes and that's why he was asking Billo today. Billo refuses. Purab looks at Bebe for help. Bebe smiles and calls out for Jassi and tells her that Purab has a surprise for her.
Jassi is excited and says that she will get ready. Nandu and Billo are shocked and angry. Billo goes and stands in front of the window.
Jassi and Purab reach the docks. We see a small cruise liner waiting for them. Jassi is very surprised and asks Purab where he is taking her. Purab leads her to the dock where the ship is anchored. Jassi asks him what all this is. Purab looks at the sea and says it's the sea. Jassi says that she has lived in Bombay and knows what the sea looks like. Purab tells her that he wants to take her to the middle of the sea. Jassi says that she does not know swimming. He says that when she is drowning he will be there to save her. Jassi says that she does not want his sahara (help).
Purab replies that he does not want to be sahara but saath (company, friend). He tells her about the ship and he adds that he wants the breeze to touch her face and waves to talk to her. He says he wants to show her a whole new world. He points to towards a ship. Jassi looks overwhelmed…
