Hahahaha... good one, on a lighter side.anil kunukuThe filmmaker can't wrap his head around the grounds on which his movie has been denied certification. "I had checked the reasons for which the censor board had banned movies in the past. It was a list which ran into several pages and to be on the safer side, I made sure I did not include any of those things in my movie. That means I showed two flowers bending and touching when I wanted to depict a kiss between the hero and heroine, thereby upholding Indian culture and values," he said.
"I was sure there was nothing in my sanskari movie which the censor board members would object to. But they have refused to clear the movie citing that it did not have any Arijit Singh song. I understand that these days it is impossible to watch TV for even 5 minutes without coming across 23 new Arijit songs and Kejriwal blaming someone. He has sung more number of songs than Modi has delivered speeches and that is some serious achievement. I committed a grave sin by not including his songs in the movie and I am going to rectify my mistake," the filmmaker told our Mocktale reporter, before leaving to meet Arijit.
Seeing Arijit's immense popularity, government has decided to ask him for help. "When we announce that petrol prices have been increased, people hurl abuses at us. But if Arijit makes the same announcement, I am sure people will forget about the rising prices and ask him to make the announcement in his melodious voice again and again, just like they request him to sing their favorite song," a BJP minister revealed.
