Rey was pacing in college corridor, waiting for taani's arrival when he bumped into Kriya, who smiled at him sweetly, but Rey glared at her, he was hating her mere presence, she was the reason his taani is not with him today.
"What the f**k! Leave my way, Kriya." He hissed in anger when all he wanted was strangle her. He knew kriya's return was not a good news and she proved him correct by spoiling his & taani's relationship.
"Rey, I want to talk to you." Kriya trailed off, if looks could kill, she would have fallen dead by now. Knowing she won't budge thus he walked away from there only to have her following him around which infuriated him alot.
"What the f**k do you want now, Ms. ghai? Aren't you happy with what you had already done to my life?" Rey shouted at her causing her to flinch back in fear.
"I just wanted to apologize. I know i shouldn't have told taani about all that, but i felt she had right to know everything. You don't love her in real, you were with her because of me, to make me jealous-" Kriya started off, increasing his angel level.
"Stop living in delusion, ms. kriya ghai. Stop giving so much attention to yourself. The moment you walked out of my life, you stop affecting me. You are no one to me, NO ONE. And who are you to decide if i love her or not? I love her, me & my heart knows, i don't need your certificate for that." Rey snapped at her harshly. She was surprised seeing him so much affected by all the happenings. She had thought taani was just a passing fling to him, but seems like she was wrong.
"I'm warning you one last time, stay out of my life. You won't like the consequences if i ever see you near taani. You have already done damage but not anymore-" Rey warned her in his deadly low tone and walked away from there, leaving a stunned kriya behind.
"Did you see, taani? He was so rude to me. I was trying to apologize but he-" She said to the taani who was standing at some distance and had watched everything but Rey was unaware of this since his back was facing her.
"Kriya, but why you wanted to apologize to him?" Taani moved toward her and asked her, curiously. She raised her eye brow at her questioningly as kriya fumbled.
"I'm tired of his rudeness and distant behavior, i wanted to be friends with him and start a new-" Kriya told her with honesty. Taani felt a tug at her heart hearing this, she accept she was angry & felt betrayed by him, no longer wish to be with him but she never thought him to be with someone else. It was painful to even think. And she doesn't even know if she had that strength to watch him with some other girl.
"I have some work, I'll meet you later." taani mumbled absentmindedly and walked away from there. Taani walked toward the fire exit, she opened the door of fire escaped and went inside. It was the place where she get peace, some much needed alone time. Away from all.
"Kriya still loves him, its clear in her eyes, but does he also feels same for her? What if he truly loves her? After all he was with me just to prove kriya wrong-" Taani mumbled to herself, she had witnessed love and longing in kriya's eyes.
"Don't you even dare to think about all this. Hear me, loud and clear, taani, I DON'T LOVE KRIYA."
Her eyes widen in shock when she heard his voice from behind, she turned around in hasty and found him standing at the entrance of fire escape. Rey entered inside and locked the door. Taani got up and look at him.
"What are you doing here?" Taani asked him, Rey narrowed his eyes at her trying hardest to sound rude when she can not. She is sweetest, soft spoken he had ever come across. She can never be rude to anyone.
"I came to meet my jaan, you know its been 2 weeks i have talked to her properly. I know she is angry, she doesn't even want look at me, but kya karu. I cant control my heart that beats for her." Rey spoke with tenderness in his voice, he started walking toward her causing her to take step back. Her back hit the wall but he continued moving toward her. Rey trapped her between him & wall.
"Taani! Jaan, give me a chance atleast. I wanna prove how much i love you." Rey whispered, gazing down at her lovingly. Taani lifted her eye lashes, and look into his eyes. All she saw, was love and honesty yet she couldn't bring herself to trust him again.
"What will you do prove your love?"
"Anything." Rey answered immediately. Taani look at him, her heart wanted to test him. Wanted to prove herself wrong. Wanted to believe him, but her mind over powered everything else.
"Can you leave your dance for me?"
