Unlike last two posts, I won't be long today because the episode was full of fluff. It fulfilled its purpose to entertain and took us one more step forward in Twinkle and Knuj's relationship.
Few of the things that stood out were following;
Bebe has always been shown to have a soft corner for Knuj from all three Sarna boys. Being a family woman, I loved how she was enjoying getting ready to spend time with all her family members. She was also quick to catch on with Knuj was buttering her up. My favorite part of the scene was when she asks him whether she is as hot as Twinkle and he said No without even thinking.
Loved Ishq Bulava playing in the back when Twinkle makes Knuj go out of the room. Her being the one inside shows that she is anchorage of the next steps of their relationship and Knuj will willingly compromise for her happiness. Both realizing their increasing feelings was one of the most beautiful moments.
Twinkle realizing that because of Kunj she won't be able to stare at Shahrukh Khan's face anymore was one of the classic Twinkle moments. When she wants something, she tries her best to get it by hook or crook and she really was looking forward to seeing the movie because if not, she wouldn't have gone straight up and told Kunj that this would've had him rejected from her pool of potential suitors. I love how Kunj was quick to retaliate but also change the course by pulling her close to himself and indicating for the first time that he is more then just her husband. That he too has expectations! Kung has been vocal about how much he cares for Twinkle not just because he has to, but because he wants to but verbally talking about romance and the right he has on her, took their relationship to a new level.
The extension was the song playing from DDLJ. I literally loved this moment and how in the end he pulls her towards him. The song clearly and literally translates into "There's no going back". Both realize the fact at the point where Kunj confesses that he too was in search of a perfect partner but never realized it would be her, Twinkle whom he will end up with. Kunj had a past too and he had a life planned too so him coming out from those shadows and ashes to confess that his Simran is Twinkle was a turning point. I loved how afterward when he is leaning against the pillar, he asks Twinkle what next. Because even though it's the second date, they have gone past what usually happens on a second date.
Twinkle using "boo" to pull Kunj and herself out of the trance was perfect phrase to equate with her feelings. The frustration on Knuj's face was so real and pained. Kudos to Sidhant for pulling that so flawlessly. Twinkle is now aware that she and Knuj are on the same page and they both are in love but last time the same happened, it turned into a biggest mistake of her life. While she is assured by everyone and even herself, physical relationship still scares her. I loved how understanding was Kunj about that, acknowledging that she is scared but doesn't need to be because he won't be doing anything she doesn't like.
Noodles are the best! I literally live off noodles now that I am in college. Noodles also symbolize long life in Japanese and Chinese cultures historically. Needless to say, Kunj and Twinkle are together for lifetimes to come!
Lastly, poor Yuvi was burning so much! He is getting careless and careless and in his carelessness, he will end up exposing himself. His driving the car way too fast foreshadowed his impulsive anger and his inability to deal with it.
Also, Chery getting a tray of samosas and popcorn was simply the funniest. I loved Usha telling him to eat all up himself and not worry about the res. After all, they all came because of Cherry's love for the theater snacks!
