Voila! Priyanka Chopra's Baywatch to release on May 19, 2017

This is getting bigger and better. Looks like B-town hotties will be ruling the Hollywood box-office in 2017 and how! After Deepika Padukone's xXx: The Return of Xander Cage release date was release announced ( Jan 20, 2017) yesterday, now it's time for Priyanka Chopra's much-awaited Hollywood debut Baywatch. The film will release on May 19, 2017.

Hiram Garcia, from the film's production, took to twitter to announce the good news! "Lining up our next big #BAYWATCH shot. Not a cloud in the sky and the weather is perfect. Let's roll! #May192017"

The film's principal photography has already begun and the movie will be shot in Miami and Savannah.

Baywatch is the version of the popular 1990s TV series of the same name. The film stars Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron and PeeCee, who will be seen in a negative role and will be directed by Seth Gordon.

Baywatch follows devoted lifeguard Mitch Buchannon (Johnson) as he headbutts with a brash new recruit (Efron). Together, they uncover a local criminal plot that threatens the future of the Bay. And Priyanka is on board to play the bad guy in the film.

Paramount dropped Terminator 2 from this day and put in Baywatch! Based on what I've read up online it's a big release date that lots of films were after/may still go after.

I remember when The Rock announced the release date last month he was stoked about getting May 19, 2017... Should be good!

Not that safe; it is right in the summer season. Guardians 2 opens 2 weeks before and Pirates follows the week after. And some other movie/s will take dates here too hoping in.

Anyway moving it in June or July would have been disastrous. Those months are insanely packed.
