Kavya and Khu take Muskaan back to her room and are met my Vasundhra who questions what happened. Kavya says there is something that they are not being told as Samarth was disturbed seeing Muskaan wearing the sari. Vasundhra blames Muskaan for her stubborn and selfish ways for destroying two lives. Vasundhra says that she and Samarth tried to build their castles of happiness by destroying Kavya's life and are reaping the ill effects of that. She tells Muskaan that she has to leave well alone but Muskaan is adamant and Vasundhra says that then she will receive no help from them. She asks Kuhu and Kavya to leave but Kavya says she will stay with Muskaan till matters don't get resolved between Muskaan and Samarth. Vasundhra tells Muskaan that Kavya is different from her and cares about others whereas Muskaan only thinks of herself. Vasundhra asks Kavya if she is sure and Kavya says she will support Muskaan to which Muskaan roles her eyes and pretends to be tired. Kavya takes Kuhu and Vasundhra to get something to eat. As soon as they leave, Muskaan makes a call talking to the same person and tells them that they won't be able to win Samarth over like this. She listens to the other side offering some suggestion then says if it'll work she is ready to do it.
Kavya runs into Bhairavi and questions her about Samarth's past and his behavior. Bhairavi tells Kavya not to meddle and live her life but Kavya says the past is connected to Muskaan and Samarth's relationship and if Bhairavi doesn't want to talk about it, she will ask Samarth. Bhairavi twists her arm and grabs her hair and threatens her, Mansa comes and tells her that police have come so she lets go of Kavya. Kavya tells her the next time she threatens her the cops will come to arrest her.
The police come and tell Bhairavi she can have Sambhav back. Sambhav walks in with Shrenik and apologizes. Samarth ignores him and asks the police if there is something else, and he says he needs Muskaan's statement. They go up to Muskaan's room and find out that she tried to committ suicide. The police are concerned about the craziness that's taking place and Kuhu calls the doctor. The police says the cut is only surface and she'll be fine. Kavya assures that Muskaan will give her statement as soon as she heals. The police says they will be back but wants no more funny business.
The doctor treats Muskaan and tells everyone not to worry. Later when Muskaan regains conciousness she questions Kavya why she is upset. Muskaan continues to be adamant of her feelings for Samarth but Kavya has a hard time believing Muskaan has truly changed and tells Muskaan not to lecture them on love because if she'd understood love she wouldn't have run to begin with. Samarth is outside listening and Muskaan sees him and reiterates that she's not like her old self and wants to be with her love.
Samarth walks away and thinks that he doesn't want Muskaan to hurt herself because of him. He says his mind is telling him that Muskaan has changed but in his heart she feels like the same Muskaan.
Preview: The police informs Bhairavi and Samarth that the property that Muskaan was kept at is under Samarth's name.
