'What was the interview about...'' Said Rinky but Romi just stayed looking at Ishita curiously before he said

'You were supposed to be in that interview with Simmi as well Isn't it...'' Said Romi

'Yes Sir...'' Said Ishita

'Look, how about you go and I will book an appointment for you tomorrow...'' Said Romi

No... No... Sir... Thank you but I really do not mind waiting...'' Said Ishita humbly

'Okay... Your call ...'' Said Romi

'Thank you though...'' Said Ishita

'What for...'' Said Romi

'Well everyone here is not as welcoming and nice as you are...'' Said Ishita causing Romi to smile

'That is so sweet... Thank you...'' Said Romi enjoying the compliment

'Oh flirting with the boss doesn't get you places...'' Said Rinky sarcastically but Ishita just looked at her ignoring her

She had been around people like Rinky most of her life, people of that kind of behavior. Where they under look others like they do not matter mostly because they think the status of those less fortunate is below their feet and thus makes those people irrelevant.

Quite frankly she hated such people and if it was a few years ago she would probably be giving Rinky a mouthful but Mihika had taught her to be humble and also learn to sieve and hold her tongue. So she just looked at Rinky for a few seconds before she turned to Romi and said

'I will leave you get back to your business...'' And Romi looking at her again suspicious before he said

'Sure...'' And with that he walked away

He was for whatever reason curious like he had known her or had seen her before. Maybe she was like one of those people who had faces that just seemed familiar because there was no way she and he would have interacted at one point in life. Also with the way Rinky was talking to her, it took a lot for her to hold her tongue he could tell and it had to take someone with some good level of restraint to hold back

Ishita walked back sitting down again as she ignored Rinky who was staring at her like she was some filthy rubbish. Romi who looked at her pulled her away forcing her to leave the lounge area as the made it upstairs through another elevator.

'What is the matter with you?'' Said Romi

'How do you mean...'' Said Rinky not having a clue what she had even done

'That is no way to talk to someone...'' Said Romi

'Oh Romi please, spare me...'' Said Rinky

'I swear you are one spoilt brat...'' Said Romi

'Yeah well whose fault is that...'' Said Rinky smiling before she put her arm through his

'Enough of that, tell me who solves my little problem...'' She added

'Please, Come on what kind of brother does that make you if you don't care about your only sister...'' She said childishly walking out of the elevator

'You are not my only sister...'' Said Romi as they walked to his office

'Yeah but Simmi is old and boring so she doesn't count...'' She said as she walked into Romi's office

'Old and boring Simmi is the one going to give you this month's allowance. You really want to piss me off...'' Said Simmi her eyes still looking at the file she was holding

'You know I love you... Romi likes to feel important so I have to tell him stuff to make him feel macho...'' Said Rink folding her hands in a fist showing Romi

'Hey...'' Said Romi causing Rinky and Simmi to chuckle

'That is not funny...'' Added Romi as he sat down

'Shouldn't you be in college right now...'' Said Simmi

'I should and I will be if you guys just clear my budget...'' Said Rinky turning to Romi as she added

'Plus my car is doing that thing again...''

'That is what usually happened when you do not take it for servicing for a while...'' Said Romi

'Rinky... I swear sometimes...'' Simmi began

'I am such a spoilt brat... Macho said that already...'' Rinky interrupted

'Alright, money will be in your account by today afternoon. My accountant is taking care of it...'' Said Simmi standing up as she said

'I have to go see Raman anyway...''

'Yeah whatever let go of me...'' Said Simmi as she walked out

''What about my car...'' Said Rinky

'It is down in the parking lot. You need to be very careful next time or I am taking it away...'' Said Romi

'Yes...'' She said as she walked over to Romi hugging him

'Thank you...'' She added

'Your welcome... Now go, I have work to do'' Said Romi

'That I will gladly do everyone is all business here no fun at all...'' She said before she grabbed her cross bag and walked out

She walked and could see from the second floor that Ishita was still seated in that lounge causing her to turn back and say

'Romi Bhai...'' And Romi looked up at her but for whatever reason she said

'Nothing... Thank you I will call you later...'' And she walked out ignoring Ishita who was clearly in need

Ishita kept on patiently waiting for Raman K Bhalla to finish and she wasn't leaving this place without that meeting. This was her only chance and she needed this job, badly. She was exhausted and hadn't eaten a thing since morning. She had a chocolate bar that Mihika had forcibly thrown into her bag and in that moment she was glad because then at least she had something to put in her stomach but that was ages ago.

Her stomach began to growl causing her to put her hand on it as she prayed the person she came to see would finish such that she would go home and have something to eat. There was a cafeteria in that place but she didn't have enough to eat there, or so she thought and the only money she had remaining was just enough to get her back home. So she wasn't risking that.

After about another 3 hours, it was almost a half past 6:00 pm and Romi was preparing to leave. Raman had concluded his meeting and had requested for Romi's presence before he left. So Romi asked his assistant to take his laptop and other documents to this car while he walked to Raman's office.

He walked to the end of the floor before he turned back as if he had remembered something. He came back standing at the stair way and looked down only to see the woman was still seated in the same place clenching her bag as she looked around as if looking for someone.

'Annie...'' Romi called his assistant causing her to turn

'Yes Sir...'' She said

'How long has that woman been sitting their...'' He asked

'She came in at around 9:00 Am or a couple of minutes after Sir...'' Said Annie

'And she hasn't left the place since...'' Said Romi

'No... I doubt she had even a thing to eat...'' Said Annie

'Why... Couldn't you...'' Said Romi and Annie interrupted

'I did ask her to come to the cafeteria with me she refused Sir...'' Annie said defensively

'Alright, take these to my car and bring her upstairs to Raman's office...'' Said Romi

'Okay Sir...'' Said Annie and she walked away

Romi walked into Raman's office where Raman was signing a few more papers before he handed them back to his secretary

'Romi... Hey...'' He said as he got up grabbing the cup of coffee that was properly laid for him on the table

'Hey...'' Said Romi as he sat down

'Are you done with the contracts... We need to send them to the Lawyer to go through...'' Said Raman

'I have already done that... Also the Goa deal I think we might get it just a few details left...'' Said Romi

'Good... And the deal with IYER Technologies ... We need them to partner with us on this. It is the only way we are ensuring that once we go online, we have the best of everything... They create only the best and we want only the best'' Said Raman

'I know but we are still failing to even get an appointment with the man and given they do their bookings a year early we are very last and need a favor. But i am working on it'' Said Romi

'Keep trying...'' Said Raman

'I know... That is why we sent Simmi there she will handle it...'' Said Romi

'Great...And Rinky how is she...'' Said Raman

'Spoilt as always...'' Said Romi

'Well whose fault is that...'' Said Raman chuckling

'I do not spoil her...'' Said Romi

'Yeah right...'' Said Raman shaking his head

Back outside Annie had taken whatever she had been sent to the car and walked to the lounge area where Ishita was

'Excuse me...'' She said

'Yes...'' Said Ishita

'He will now see you...'' Said Annie

'Really... Thank God...'' Said Ishita standing up only to feel dizzy so she stumbled back

'Are you alright...'' Said a concerned Annie

'Yeah... Yeah ...'' Lied Ishita

'Let us go...'' She added causing Annie to look at her carefully before she turned leading the way

Ishita was lying through her teeth, she was famished and it was taking its toll on her. She hadn't really eaten the whole day and she was beginning to feel really hungry because of staying on a somewhat empty stomach, but she figured this wouldn't take so long and she would power through.

Annie led her to the elevator up to the second floor before she walked out leading to the end of the floor straight to Raman K Bhalla's office. She was beginning to see double and she said a small prayer as she leaned to the wall for support praying that she just got through this. Annie knocked before she opened the door

'She is here Sir...'' Said Annie

'Who...'' Said Raman

'Oh right, please send her in...'' Said Romi standing up and Annie peeped out asking Ishita to walk in

Ishita began feeling like her feet couldn't carry her body anymore and they were beginning to wobble like a lose beam on a heavy building. She walked in and Romi was standing there with someone else behind him she couldn't quite make out as she was still seeing double vision.

'Hey... You are alright...'' Said Romi and that is the last thing she remembered

CHAPTER FOUR

Ishita lost balance and collapsed to the floor right there in Raman's office. Romi ran to her rescue holding her before she fell to the ground. He slowly led her to the couch Raman's seated on and he lay her down.

'Who the hell is this...'' Said Raman

'Honestly, I have no idea...'' Said Romi

'Then what is she doing here...'' Said Raman

'She wanted to see you. Apparently she had an interview with you...'' Said Romi before turning to Annie and saying

'Get me a glass of water and sugar please...'' and Annie walked out obliging

'What interview? Is she a reporter or something...'' Said Raman as he looked at her

She had unbelievable skin, which was strange given it was the first thing that he noticed about her. She had little or no makeup, he couldn't tell but whatever it was, it was working for her because she looked really beautiful in a simple way

'I have no idea who she is...'' He added

'I think she was supposed to be here for the nanny interview...'' Said Romi

'That interview was in the morning...'' Said Raman

'Apparently...'' Said Romi as he took the Glass from Annie saying

'Thank you...'' And he picked up a spoon hat Raman had used in his coffee. He wiped it with the table napkin before he used it and began dropping that sugar water into Ishita's mouth

'Well as I was saying, she told me she got here 15 minutes late; she said traffic was and I quote, a bitch... So she ended up getting here late...'' Said Romi

'What has that got to do with anything...The interviews were still going on. They ended at 11:00 am'' Said Raman

'Well your very rude receptionist stopped her from coming upstairs So she snuck into the lounge area and has been sitting out there since then...'' Said Romi

'What nonsense...'' Said Raman before turning to Annie and saying

'Can you please call Sarika if she is still around...'' Said Raman and again Annie walked out only to come back a few minutes with Sarika

'Yes Sir...'' Sarika said

'Do you know this woman...'' Said Raman

'I know the girl, I can't say she is a woman...'' Said Sarika carelessly

'Okay, do you know this girl...'' Said Raman

'Well yeah she wanted to come up but she was late so I asked her to leave. I do not know who allowed her to come upstairs. Maybe she is one of this one's friends, that's why snuck her upstairs...'' She said looking at Annie

' Why is she sleeping in here anyway...'' She added

'SARIKA...'' Barked Raman startling even Annie whose heart almost jumped out of her chest

'I... I... ' Said Sarika scared

'My sister may have hired you and she have a particular liking for you but I that won't stop me from firing you. This is the last strike. I hear anything like this happening again; I will fire you without any benefits. Each and every one who walks through that door is important until I say otherwise. So next time when someone has an appointment with me, check with me before throwing them out'' Said Raman

'Okay, I am sorry I didn't know...'' Said Sarika

'Get out of my office...'' Said Raman much to Annie's content.

'Rama...'' Sarika began

'I said leave...'' Said Raman and Sarika left in tears

The office really didn't like Sarika very much; she always behaved like she belonged to the Bhalla family and therefore gave her license to treat people like shit. No one ever really said a thing because she was Sarika's friend. So every time she got a scolding, everyone loved it to death.

'Annie... Here... Take this... Thank you...'' Said Romi handing Sarika the glass

'Is she fine...'' Said Raman

'Yeah she is. She was just hungry... She is gaining consciousness...'' Said Romi sitting beside her on the couch

Ishita opened her eyes looking up as she saw Romi's face. She wiped her eyes with the back of her hand trying to clear her blurry vision

'Welcome back...'' Said Romi smiling

'Wha... Where ...'' Said Ishita taking a minute before she gained back her senses

'Oh... Sorry...'' She added as she sat up hurriedly

'Don't panic it is okay...'' Said Romi holding her hand and helping her sit up

'You must be having a horrid day...'' He said sitting across from her

'Yeah No shit...'' She said sitting up as she remembered her surroundings

'Oh excuse my language...'' She said as she saw Raman causing Romi to smile again

For whatever reason he found her effortlessly funny and he knew there was something about her he was going to love.

'What is your name?'' He asked

'Ishita Iy... Just Ishita ...'' She said nervously looking at Raman who was just staring at her

'Just Ishita... Really ...'' Said Romi amused

'If you are here for an interview as my nanny I need both names...'' Raman finally managed to say

'Ishita Prem...'' she added stammering

'What kind of name is Ishita Prem...'' Said Raman

'Ishita because well my grandmother and Prem because my father loved Prem Nath, you know the actor, my father loved him. He loved his movies and that is how that stupid name Ishita Prem came about...'' She said laughing nervously but Raman was just staring at her so she cleared her throat saying

'Parents...'' And she sat up as if she was uncomfortable that Romi coughed a bit hoping his laughter would be lost within that

'Is your father no more...'' Said Raman looking at her sternly

'I am going to so really, really like you...'' and Ishita smiled relaxing a bit

'How long have you worked as a nanny...'' Said Raman

'I... Uhhh... I haven't really but I am a really fast learner plus I love kids...'' She lied

'That is not very convincing am afraid...'' Said Raman

'Sir, look I am desperate for a job otherwise I wouldn't have stayed here and embarrassed myself in your office by collapsing like this. Because of that desperation I am willing to do anything. I swear I am not even that expensive you so and I will be at your back and call 24/7 if you want and I will be the best nanny you will ever have...'' She pleaded and Raman just looked at her leaning back in his chair as he folded his hands around his chest

'Money is not the problem and the nanny is not for me but my kids...'' Said Raman

'Plus you haven't met his kids...'' Said Romi looking at her

'Sir please, I swear... Just give me a chance to prove myself. I have seven brothers and sister and the third born so know my way around kids more than you think...'' She lied and for whatever reason, even he couldn't quite explain he leaned back walking out of his chair as he said

'You start tomorrow, leave your details with my Assistant I will contact you later on how the arrangement will be...''

Romi turned to Raman his eyes almost popping out of his pockets not believing that just happened

'Seriously...'' Said Romi

'Yeah... Holy Shit ...'' Said Ishita equally shocked

'Do you or do you not want the job...'' Said Raman

'I do... I mean thank you Sir you will not be disappointed...'' Said Ishita as she stood up from the couch grabbing her bag

'Thank you very much Sir...'' She added

'Get out of my office... I will call you tomorrow'' Said Raman and Ishita fearing he might change his mind turned quickly walking out

'What the hell was that?'' Said Romi but Raman just sat down where Ishita was taking a bottle of water

'You held interviews for almost 3 hours and you sent each and every one away. And she got it just like that...'' Romi added snapping his fingers but Raman just kept quiet

'What the hell happened'' Romi insisted

'Honestly I have no idea...'' Said Raman even he not believing he had just done that

'Dude...'' Said Romi still in shock

'Yeah...'' Said Raman sitting back

'Hey... you all ready to leave...'' Said Simmi who had just walked in using Raman's private entrance

'Yeah seems I am exhausted enough...'' Said Raman standing up

'What happened...'' Said Simmi

'Raman just hired a nanny...'' Said Romi amused

'Oh yeah, which one did he choose. I think the lady with 15 years of experiences the way to go. She talked like she knew what she was saying... Plus she came with unbelievable references...'' Said Simmi

'You wanted a nanny, I hired one so just drop it...'' Said Raman

Ishita had just got home where Mihika was anxiously waiting for her. She was exhausted and hungry and excited and scared all at the same time. Mihika was leaving in a few days and she knew she needed to find a way to make ends meet. This was really going to be the first time that she was completely on her own and in a way it scared her. After everything Mihika had always been the one who was there for her and being completely alone was going to be a very new and a very challenging experience.

'Ishu... God did you get it. I was so worried, why did it take too long anyway...'' Said Mihika nervously

It had been a couple of hours since Ishita got home and after the meal she had just had. She was just spending some time with Mihika given her pending departure. So when there was a knock on the door, both of them were a bit surprised given none of them was expecting anyone

'Who do you think it is...'' Said Mihika

'I don't know, May be it is Mr. Khan...'' Said Ishita

'Do not open that door. That fool will throw us out ...'' Said Mihika

'Relax, No one is throwing us out because if it was him, he would be screaming now...'' Said Ishita walking to the door as she mimicked the Landlord

She could see a man dressed in a fancy suit his back facing her door as he looked down from her balcony almost as if he was assessing the place.

'Excuse me...'' Said Ishita and when he turned she couldn't believe it

'Sir...'' Said Ishita shock

'Yeah, Simmi is leaving in about an hour ago and therefore I need you to start today...'' Said Raman looking at her sternly

'Wha... I am...'' Said Ishita causing Mihika to walk to the door

'Ishu what is...'' She said only to see Raman standing there

'Oh hello...'' She said trying to keep her composure

'Sir, I am not prepared...'' Ishita began and Raman interrupted

'Listen I only came here to pick you because it is such short notice also I will be busy so I need you to stay in house for at least 2 months until Simmi gets back...'' Said Raman

'Wha... I can't... My evenings were not for working plus you are only paying me to work for a couple of hours a day. Not as a live-in nanny...'' Ishita began and Raman said

'I am paying you 50,000 rupees per month because I need a live in nanny ASAP...'' Causing Mihika's jaw to almost drop

'I can't just... You leave tomorrow I wanna be here when you do...'' Said Ishita

'Ishu... I will be okay. I am going away not dying and I am going to be fine. You have an opportunity to at least have a roof over your head for the next couple of months until you get back on your feet and this money, honey you need it... Bad ...'' Said Mihika

'But...'' Said Ishita

'No...No... Stop being a spoilt brat, which you are by the way. Time to grow up girl... Go... Here use this go bag and leave right now... Here...'' Said Mihika handing Ishita a bag

'You just so happened to have a parked bag laying round'' Said Ishita

'Well I am not allowing you to go work with those overalls you call clothes... You may get fired before you begin... So you are taking my go bag ...'' Said Mihika smiling as she hugged Ishita forcing her back to the door

'All set... Sorry to keep you waiting...'' Said Mihika smiling

'Alright then, is that all you're taking...'' Said Raman looking at the bag Ishita was holding

'Well this is all I have ...'' Said Ishita snapping

'Okay...'' Said Raman ignoring her tone

'You know what, since you need me on such short notice, I have a few conditions I need for you to fulfil...'' Said Ishita

'You are giving me conditions...'' Raman said looking at her like she was crazy

'Okay just to satisfy my curiosity what is this condition'' he added

'I need a month's advance... I can't just leave without taking care of a few things. Plus I sort of owe the landlord...If I don't pay the poor guy may lose his job'' She said carelessly causing Mihika to hold her head as if Ishita had been fired.

'Ishu... Sieve...Seriously...Too Much Info...'' Said Mihika shaking her head as she pinched Ishita's hand

'Ouch...'' Said Ishita looking at Mihika

''What... Sorry... I was just saying...Besides Priya is about to get back and coming back to a house half paid for will not suffice'' She added

'Shhsshh...''Said Mihika

'Sir, don't mind her...''Said Mihika but Raman just frowned a bit looking at Ishita before he turned taking his phone out and called someone as he stood at the edge of the balcony

'What is wrong with you?'' Whispered Mihika who was visibly nervous

'What...I was right though I needed the money, we need this money now...'' Said Ishita

'Shhsss...''Said Mihika again holding Ishita's mouth

'Just stay quiet...'' She said before letting go

Raman turned to them and could see Mihika was visibly nervous but Ishita wasn't. She just kept looking at him as if she was reading something from his face. He wanted to say something to her but he didn't quite know what to even say. His driver came up the stairs with a brown envelope handing it to Raman as he said

'Hello...'' To Ishita and Mihika

'Oh hey...'' Said Ishita smiling

'Hey...'' Said Mihika

'Here... Will that cover whatever you want...'' Said Raman handing Ishita the envelope

'What is this...''Said Ishita as she opened the envelope looking inside

'Holy shit...'' She said her eyes almost popping out

'Ishu... Language ...'' Said Mihika as Raman looked at Ishita a bit surprised much to the driver's amusement

'You just happen to have this kind of money laying around in your car...'' Said Ishita and Raman just looked at her

'Excuse us please...'' Said Mihika pulling Ishita back into the house as she closed the door in Raman's face

'What the hell...'' Said Ishita

'Okay... You need to learn and pretty fast to sieve a bit. Be mindful of what you say especially your language. I do not think that man is going to allow you near his kids when you curse like that. Also you need to understand that as much as he has money, he is not like...'' Said Mihika and Ishita understanding said

'My family, I know... I will work on it...''

'Good... Now you need this Ishu... Do not mess it up... I need to be in Mumbai and not worry so much about you...'' Said Mihika

'I won't...I promise...'' Said Ishita tearfully

'Okay...'' Said Mihika hugging her as she said

'Be a good nanny but also, do not forget you who are... Programming is what you love, do not givethat up...''

'I won't... Take care of yourself too...'' Said Ishita hugging her back

Mihika turned and opened the door while Raman for reasons even he couldn't explain was still standing there waiting for them.

'Sorry about that... She is ready...'' Said Mihika and Ishita walked out of the house

'Bye Mimi...'' She said

'Bye Ishu...'' Said Mihika chuckling and with that Ishita walked downstairs with Raman and his driver behind her

Once they got downstairs to where the car was parked, the driver took Ishita's bag from her hand and out it in the boot of the car before running and opening her door and Ishita sat in the back with Raman

'Have you had something to eat...'' Said Raman

'What...'' Said Ishita

'Did you eat something? I wouldn't want you collapsing again in my car or when you meet my kids... So did you eat'' Said Raman

'I did thanks for the concern...'' Said Ishita

'I wasn't concerned; I just do not have time to take care of you because you are skipping meals. Make sure it doesn't happen again...'' Said Raman sternly as he looked at his phone

'Yes Sir...'' She said snapping at him as she looked out the window causing the driver to smile a bit

Not many people got away with snapping at Raman K Bhalla but she just did that effortlessly and because Raman didn't know how to react to an employee who wasn't scared of him just sat there looking at her. She kept on mumbling under her breath without a care in the world

'You realize I am your boss...'' Raman said

'Don't remind me...'' She said realizing she had said that out loud she turned saying

'I mean, Yes Sir... I do and I apologize...'' Causing he driver to look at her through the mirror as he smiled

Raman looked at her shaking his head not understanding her behavior. It was evident she needed this job and yet she was snapping away like she didn't care if she got fired. What was even more surprising was the fact that Raman hadn't fired her yet. For whatever reason, he found her very intriguing and couldn't bring himself to firing her.

'You do realize I am your boss and talking to me like that is not allowed...'' Said Raman looking at her

'Ye... Yes Sir sorry...'' Said Ishita humbly as she sat back quietly

From then on it was a very quiet ride to the mansion. Raman just kept on flicking through the files he had in his car as well taking phone calls one after the other. Ishita just quietly sat in the back not saying anything as she wanted for a journey even she wasn't prepared for.

They finally made it home and Raman who was taken up by all the phone calls got out of the car leaving Ishita to fend for herself and find her way. He walked inside and she just stayed standing at the entrance with no idea what to do.

The driver who had walked into the house to take in the keys turned and looked at Ishita. He walked to where she was and said

'Come on in...''

'Oh thank you... I didn't know what to do...'' Said Ishita

'It is okay... He is not always this grumpy jr...'' Said the driver

'I am Mihir by the way...'' He added

'I am Ishita...'' She said

'Very nice to meet you Ishita...'' He said smiling before walking past her

'Where are you going...'' Said Ishita

'Oh I stay in the quarters. I will see you tomorrow...'' Said Mihir

'Good night...'' Said Ishita

'Night...'' He said and walked out leaving Ishita standing in the living room still unaware of where to go

Raman walked upstairs and stayed for close to 20 minutes before he came back with some other woman as they still looked at some file. It seemed like they were just working. The lady lifted her head from the file for a minute and that is when she saw Ishita

'Who are you...'' She said

'Ishita...'' She answered

'What...'' Said Simmi who couldn't hear her

'Ishita Prem... New ...'' Said Ishita causing Raman to lift his head

'Oh... Right new nanny... ' He said turning to Simmi

'Why is she just standing there...'' Said Simmi

'I do not know where to go that is why I am just standing here...'' Said Ishita causing Simmi to look at her

'Neelu...'' Called Raman and a lady came from the kitchen

'Yes Sir...'' She said

'Show her to her room and ask Aditya and Ruhi to come downstairs...'' Said Raman

'Ohhh So your Ishita...'' Said Simmi looking at her and Ishita just smirked before following Neelu

'I can totally see why you gave her that job...'' Said Simmi

'Shut up...'' Said Raman

'No really she is easy on the eyes...'' Said Simmi but Raman just ignored her

'Also she reminds me of Shag...'' She added but Raman wasn't up for it

'Stop... Simmi just stop...'' Said Raman agitated

'Okay, Sorry...'' Said Simmi understanding his reaction

'I just...Can we just get back to this...'' Said Raman

'I got it... Don't stress...'' Said Simmi looking at her brother

'Are you alright...'' She added

'Yeah... Yeah I am fine...'' Said Raman sighing

Ever since Shagun had passed away Raman had never really had anyone strange in his house. In fact Simmi could attest that Ishita was the first person stranger to walk into that house after his wife's death. Neelu and Mihir were working there ever since Raman and Shagun got married and they were the only employees still around. So this Ishita here, was a bit uncomfortable for him also not forgetting the fact that, her antics were like Shagun's... It was like Shagun was here but in a different body

'Raman...'' Said Simmi as she grabbed her bag

'Yeah...'' He said

'Do not make it so hard for her to do her job...'' She said before she hugged him and left and Raman understanding her reservations just kept quiet

'Take care...'' He hugged her back and she walked out

'Papa...'' Ruhi came running down with Aditya not so far behind

'Hey... How are you doing ...'' Said Raman

'Good...Welcome back ' Said Ruhi excited as she let go

'Thank you...'' Said Raman before turning to his son

'Hey Adi, How are you?'' Said Raman

'Good...'' Said Aditya whose attention was clearly taken by Ishita

'Who are you'' He asked

Ishita...'' She said

'Oh right, this is Ishita, she is going to be your new nanny...'' Said Raman

'Hello...'' Said Ruhi smiling

'Hey...'' Said Ishita smiling back

'Why...'' Said Aditya who wasn't clearly all for the idea

'You need someone to take care of you while Simmi and I are not here...'' Said Raman

'Again, why... You and Simmi Didi are never here anyway...I don't get what the big deal is that you are hiring someone again. '' Said Aditya

'Adi... Manners ...'' Said Raman and Aditya kept quiet

Ruhi who didn't have as much rage like her brother was just excited that they had someone new at home. She walked up to Ishita standing in front of her as she said

'You're pretty...'' Causing Ishita to smile as she replied

And you are so cute...'' Said Ishita smiling back at her

'What is your name...'' Said Ishita trying to create a rapport with her

'Ruhi Kumar Bhalla... ' She said sweetly

'Well very nice to meet you...'' Said Ishita

'Ruhi, Give him the invitations...'' Said Aditya ignoring Ishita

'Oh right, Papa, there is this recital you need to attend next week at school...'' Said Ruhi walking to her dad

'Next week, what time...'' Said Raman

'Friday, 2:00 pm...'' Said Aditya

'I don't think I have...'' Said Raman and Aditya scoffed saying

'I told you he was busy and wouldn't' come. He is always busy... Anyway ...'' He said

'You should have told me earlier...'' Said Raman looking at his son

'I did, two weeks ago...'' Said Aditya disheartened

'Listen I will...'' Raman began but Aditya just turned to his father and said

'It is okay, they just need an adult there so am sure Nanny here will represent. We just need someone to chaperon us, given it is a requirement''

'Adi...'' Raman called him

'I am off to bed, I am exhausted anyway...'' And with that he walked away disheartened although he tried to hide it.

'Oh God... Grumpy Senior... Seriously ...'' Mumbled Ishita seeing a disheartened Aditya causing Raman to turn and look at her
