Nandini's POV

I saw manik he seems a bit tensed but decided to let it go he finished the call and walked back to us "so what's going on?" He places his hand on my back i looked at him and smiled i knew he is tensed about something but i let it go "nothing just dhruv is telling us your childhood stories" i say "really brother?" Asks manik with amusement "of course bro she needs to know what she is dealing with" says dhruv teasing manik "well i think she knows me pretty well more then you guys" says manik looking at me i stare at him he is right i know him pretty well "okay love birds stop this eyes looking game time to get ready for the dinner" says alya and we look at them "of course i will head back to home i need to change" said manik i looked at him "i will be back soon till them you get ready okay baby" i nod and he moved to kiss me taking my lips into his we kiss slowly yet passionately we were lost when dhruv coughed "let's go bro let the girls get ready" manik kissed my forehead and left i could feel something was going on in his head but couldn't figure out what was it.

Alya looked at me "am i missing something?" She asked should i tell her about harshad no i can't manik will never approve of that plus it is his matter i can't just tell her dhruv could have told her because am sure he knows about the whole matter. "Nandini is everything okay between you and manik right?" Asked alya again "manik asked me to move in with him" i said to her "whattt OMG that's awesome nandini am so happy for you" i just smile "ya i know I never thought i will move in with a guy" it is the right thing to say because he is the first guy i ever meet and now moving in with him is like everything i ever wanted is happening "nandini he really does love you a lot babe i can see that " said alya "ya i know that" before we talk more my phone started ringing i check to see who it was but it was an unknown number "hello who's this" i said picking up the phone "hi Nandini this is soha" soha how she got my number and why is she calling me at this time "soha..hi is everything okay? Why are you calling me right now" i asked alya looked at me flickering her eyebrow

"well you are famous so finding the number was not difficult" she gave a slight laugh "okay so why did you call me?" i asked she seems annoying "actually i wanted to ask about our meeting you haven't changed you mind have you?" What she called me to ask about our meeting you got to be kidding me "excuse me let me get this straight you called me at this time to talk about our meeting soha let me tell you something i don't entertain clients after my working hours so i will talk to you tomorrow in office timing" i said and hung up on her she was talking something but i didn't bother listen we were getting late so alya already left to get ready so i also moved to my room i have to do my packing also as i am moving in with manik.

(nandini's attire)

I took out my red cocktail casual dress with golden Jimmy Choo...i chose to wear golden simple earnings to go along with it...i did a little touch up and kept my hair open with little shimmer curls. I was fully ready and was waiting for manik just when alya came down she was looking pretty wearing a green dress, green is her color "how do i look?" She asks me "pretty elegant" i say to her with a giggle "and you look hot oberio" i laugh at her words. Just then the bell rings it was our queue to move i walked and opened the door it was Aryaman standing there i wad little taken back "Aryaman what are you doing here where is manik? "Nandini manik is in the car he had an urgent call so he asked me to come and pick your luggage and you also" i nod and make my way so he can come in "and what about dhruv? I ask him "he is on his way" i nod again showing him my room he picks up my stuff and walks out i follow him "wow manik's driver is also hot" said alya i roll my eyes "alya he is his head of security also plus dhruv is coming" "so a women can want more" she winks at me "i am leaving meet you at the mansion" i say can't stand here listening her madness over guys i walk out To see manik is sitting inside the car and Aryaman is waiting outside he opens the door for me i hop in to see manik engrossed on the call "yes yes i understand but i can't wait till now this is important" manik was talking to someone and seem pretty intense. He looks at me and pulls me on to his lap.

Manik's POV

"do it and tell him to call me back Stacy" I said and hung up and looked at my girl sitting in my arms "hi" I say dropping a peck on her lips she smiles shyly at me "hi" she responds "you look pretty dapper I must say Mr Malhotra"

(manik's attire)

she says to me I wore a simple casual dress "and you look beautiful as always" I gently stroke her cheek with the back of my fingers. We stare at each other for about a minute she gazes at me, drinking me in. I lean and kiss her gently. At that instant, she throws her arms around my neck, and her fingers twisting in my hair. She pushes her body flush against mine, and she kisses me back fervently, passionately. God I love her so much she is like everything to me "hmm I must say you are quite in a mood today" she smiles as the car stopped "we have reached?" she nods and we make our way to the house. My mother is on the doorstep waiting for us. She's in an elegantly sophisticated pale blue silk dress. "Nandini how lovely to see you again" says mom wrapping her arms around nandini.

"Come in my dear" mukti walked towards us "finally you guys have reached I was waiting since long" she came and hugged nandini first "I guess for everyone here Nandini is important then me" I say everyone smiles at us "of course she is brother if you wouldn't have come we would be okay with it" said Dhruv coming from behind with Alya "Nandini" Alya winks at her and gave me a "Manik" curt acknowledgement. "Alya" I return her sentiment. Nandini frowns at our exchange well it's not like I am fond of her. Dhruv the fondler grasps Nandini into an embracing hug. I stand by Nandini's side wrapping my arms around her possessively placing my hand on her back; I spread my fingers and pull her to me. Everyone is staring at her or say at us. Nandini blushes while everyone smiles seeing all this "come on guys dinner is ready?" said mom and we all walked inside.

As the dinner was served "neyonika this is all so amazing" said nandini neyonika smiled at her "you love cooking nandini?" she asks "love I would say she is awesome with cooking you should ask her to cook for you all one day" replied Alya "really nandini" asked mom "oh yes mom she does" I said remembering the breakfast she made for me "so nandini how is work going?" asked Yash "its going good so far lot of new projects coming up" she replied "so when is your graduation?" asked Dhruv "oh ya that is in a month or so" replied alya "guys stop with this serious discussion tell me nandini when are you moving in with manik" she stopped eating and looked at me and I just smiled "well mukti she already did move in with me" I reply nandini looked in her plate "what really she did? nandini you did? She asked "am soo happy for you manik" said my mom and stood up to hug me so did mukti god my parents are really getting fond of all this.

Everything was going so smooth everyone was happy even I was enjoying myself after so long when my cell phone rang I took out too see who it was "excuse me this is important" I say to everyone nandini looks at me "be back baby" I say giving a peck on her cheek and left to attend the call "John listen I have an important job for you I want you to find out about Soha" "Soha sir?" "Yes she is someone I knew she came to my penthouse today, Jane was about to go talk to her when she left I want you to find all the info about her she was last with Harshad Saxena I want to know why of all these years she is back and what is there motive" "Has she been in touch with you sir?" "No she hasn't I haven't seen her since 3 years" I don't want to even remember her and my past with her but now I can't let her harm me or the people I love "all that information is already available to you in your security files I want you to contact her close circle and find out what she has been up to and why after all these years she is back" "Yes sir" said john hearing everything I said "Report back to me as soon as you find out. I want information solid information within twenty-four hours" I hung up and walk inside everyone was sitting and laughing on something nandini was laughing so freely my family must love her so much I am so blessed to have her in my life.

Nandini's POV

After saying goodbye to all we left for home I was already very tired manik picked me up to the room and lay me on it he helped undress me and kissed on my forehead "sleep baby sleep" and sleep took over me. Early morning sun rays fell making me awake I saw manik was not by my side i quickly got up to see where he was I saw him sitting near my bed and looking at me he was fully ready "good morning baby" said manik "good morning you got ready already?" I smiled he kissed me on my forehead "yes and time for you to get ready its already 8:30" hearing this I looked at him "OMG I am late manik I have to go early today you didn't wake me up" I quickly got up and left to get ready GOD Clare will kill me today for sure already she seems pissed at me every day.

(nandini;s office attire)

I quickly got ready wearing a zebra print dress and left down to see manik he was on his phone talking to someone Jane was present in the kitchen "good morning Jane" she smiled at me "Good morning nandini what will you have for breakfast?" she asked me "anything light will do and a cup of coffee" she nodded and got back to her work manik hung up his call and took a seat near me "you look beautiful baby" he says kissing on my cheek "so do you mr Malhotra" he smiles we eat our breakfast quietly and then get up to leave manik will be dropping me to office we walk out to see aryaman already waiting for us "hi aryaman?" I say with a smile "hi nandini?" he replies back with a smile we get in the car and drove to office

"Nandini I have a surprise for you?" I look at him "surprise?" I ask he nods "what is it?" I ask happily "it's a surprise baby will tell you in the evening?" I nod in okay as we reached my office I said bye to manik and walked in. As I entered Alya was standing near my desk and so was mukti I sensed something is wrong "what is it guys?" I ask "is everything okay?" "Nandini finally you are here?" I turn to see Harshad standing with Clare in front of the cabin. What the hell is he doing over here? "Finally you are here?" said Clare I look at Harshad he was smirking "what is all this about?" I ask Clare "well I have good news for you?" said Clare smiling; I look at her so did Alya and mukti "Mr Saxena here is deciding to take over our company he will be the new head of Clare Gaskins and being under his umbrella our business will flourish as he is already into buildings and architecture" this news was not happiness for me it was a bomb which fell on my head and so did on mukti and alya I looked at Harshad he winked at me I knew it is all his plan he is doing all this to torture manik it is all some revenge and am caught in this cross fire I can't let this happen I can't. I was about to say something when I heard "if I say I will this company double the price he offers then?" I turned around to see manik standing behind me what is he doing here how did he knew about all this? I looked at manik he was not looking at me he was looking straight at Harshad and Clare and that moment I knew this day is officially ruined.
