I watched only one Pak show named Tair-e-laahoti few years ago and there was a rape track as far as I remember. But the rape scene was not shown explicitly or vulgarly unlike 80's hindi films. Using rape scenes to arouse audience is really disgusting thing! And I am happy hindi films have moved away from that.

I think what the Topic maker was asking (and this is basis my understanding of reading other comments) was that are there are any shows that have dealt with sexuality in Pakistan? Say homosexuality? or extra marital affairs (away from the second marriage plots- which as per my understanding is allowed in Pakistani society) or pre-marital sex and lets say unwed moms?

I dont think its about explicit scenes as much as acknowledging that sex in all forms and shapes is very much a part of everyday life.

EDIT: I think another point someone just added is that in a lot of Indian shows the love story starts from sexual chemistry (Geet, IPKKND). Are there any shows that have shown sexual tension between the leads?

I havent watched any Pakistani shows- was reading the thread for entertainment value..

this.
i was not talking About kissing or lovemAking i was talking about issues reated to sexuality (premarital sex , women sexuality, homosexuality etc).
people are kk talking about education, girls right and all but never talk about their sexual desires.
and double standards they face(like its kk if man sleep around but if women do the same thing its become a huge deal.)

I remember in around 2003-04 Moorat (transgender) was telecasted where a trans were forced to marry a girl without girl's knowledge.. so yea, Pakistani serials highlight all the issues that society usually face.. btw I haven't seen any Indian serial that were (is) based on homosexuality? If Indian serials doesn't highlight homosexuality, then why Pakistani serials should highlight this fact? 😕Almost one-third serials in Pakistan are based on extra marital affairs.. what else TM is actually want to know?

i myself said indian shows now days are shit but there have been few shows on channel v and mtv which has dealt with lot of issues including homosexuality and look at bollywood movie their has been lot of movie which deal with it. and not just homosexuality but also about female sexuality in a positive wAy.
but except for bol i dint saw any movie or show of pakistan which dealt with any of the issues

There are a couple of dramas that I have watched that do explore the sexuality of women, but have been done very aesthetically and have not been very popular in terms of TRPs.
One was a drama called Pehchaan and the other was Talkhiyaan, though Talkhiyaan is an adaptation of the book 'God of Small Things'.

The thing is just like it's those typical saas-bahu shows that get high TRPs and r popular, similarly, it is the same for Pak dramas too. It's these 'abla naari', second marriages, extra marital affairs dramas that r popular in Pak too and the really good ones don't gain the popularity. The only good thing is dat all dramas have a fixed number of limited episodes and r shot before they r aired, so good or bad, the story progresses the way it was supposed to and don't change track midway.

They have strong content and story that's why they don't need sex to sell their dramas.

Ooops.. sorry TM for misunderstanding your post😆
there are dramas in which sexual tension or attraction between the leads is shown but it is done in such a subtle manner that you do not realize it.. I mean there aren't any scenes in which the guy accidentally touches the girl and she gets a jolt😆 In Pakistani dramas, most of the work is done by the eyes and expressions😆
and I honestly doubt Pakistan would show dramas about homosexuality openly.. transgender yes, homosexuality nah I don't think so
