Jab we met Ruined

Hey guyzz..

I watched Jab we met... and i thought this was the first Shahid-Kareena film that was very good.. It had comedy... and it was a really goood movie.. But i think that they ruined the story when they made Shahid-Kareena kiss.. I think that the movie would have been perfectly fine if there was no kissing in it.. Like if Shahid-Kareena hadn't kissed.. I don't think the movie would have been a flop.. Well this is my opinion..

The film opened to positive reviews on Friday with a fairly good opening of 70% all over India[8] and later increased to 90% during the weekend, with a three day business of 7.50 crore net approximately.[9] Making a total first week net business of 11.75 crore from 350 cinemas,[10] the film went into the second week with very strong collections[11] and saw a massive increase with 40%-50% increment in shows worldwide.[12]

The film also opened well overseas especially in the U.K., where it was released on October 25, 2007. Jab We Met grossed 11,488 on its advance previews night on Thursday, and 144,525 on its opening weekend, making its gross to date, 156,013 from 31 sites.[13]

Many critics praised the film by saying that it was one of the finest [romantic] films to come out of Bollywood in 2007.[14][15]

The lead performances of Shahid and Kareena were received positively by the public as well as the critics.[16][17][18] Taran Adarsh commented, "Shahid delivers his career-best performance in Jab We Met. He goes for a complete transformation vis--vis his looks and attire to look the character he has chosen to portray and the understanding with which he enacts his part is worthy of lavish praises. Kareena is in top form as well. Jab We Met is a turning point in her career [personally as well as professionally]. Fantabulous -- that's the right word to describe her work this time. The confidence with which she handles the contrasting characterization speaks volumes. This film should do for her what Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998) did for Kajol."[14]

hmm.. i thought kiss at then end was cute 😊

okay, I always have different opinion than everybody. I think the best kareena-shahid movie is Fida

Jab we met is just okay movie, people making it seem like it's the best movie ever. BTW, I didn't like the kiss at end 🤢

I think the end was beautiful...

In most cases, kisses are brought in simply to titilate, with no real need.We have had a deluge of such kisses all over.

This was an exception...Shahid's shock and then his tender yet desperate response once he recovers..........it's something to save for the posterity. There was nothing sexual in it...it was beautifully done, and soulfully enacted.

i not watch it yet.. i will watch it soon

i dont think its important to have a kiss in a movie.. like this.. but i dotn think the film was a flop

The film is not a flop but I do agree about the kiss, it wasn't necessary

I feel the same way...I thought that the kissing scene was beautifully executed.
