I am new to this forum. But I have been watching all the episodes of YHM from the start. But like most of the YHM fans, I feel the current track is extremely boring and unbelievably stupid.
The writers are doing all sort of gimmicks to keep the show running. Now a days when I watch the show I feel even the lead actors have lost interest in the show. A few points which led me to believe this are the carelessness they show in their costumes
RAMAN
1) Raman has been wearing a black shirt in most of the episodes now a days. Ok... some times he put on a grey coat over this. But still the shirt color is mostly black...If it is his personal choice or if it is what the producers give him... it has become really boring... He used to give so much attention to his costumes whether it is formal or night suits...
2) It is high time that he gives up his current hair style and shaves off his beard.. Of course he looks handsome in this style... But we have had too much of this...I just remember how he used to sport different styles in the earlier episodes. Each one f these were better than the other and we could not decide which suited him the best...
3)Talking about his character in the serial, he used to be such a powerful person and fearless with stunning one liners which was the highlight of the show... Now his character appears to be rather weak.. Inspite of being a powerful CEO, he is not even able to find a good advocate to save his wife..nor has he any contacts with influential people. Even Ashok who is shown as the villain and not as successful as Raman seems to have more contacts and is able to carry out his plans... Even his promises he makes to his wife and daughter turns out to be futile...And I was thoroughly disgusted when he tried to pull out that Panchatanthra trick (with the sticks to find out the informer)...I would really like to see the old Raman back...(the one before the surrogate track)
ISHITA
1) Ishita too has a lot to improve on her costume. We are seeing the high necked blouse style for too many episodes now... In the earlier episodes she used to wear some pretty sarees now and then , especially for parties... And she looked really pretty in almost all her suits ( churidhars)...Her most stunning looks as per my opinion were during Shagun's marriage (cream saree and black blouse combination), hen party, karva chawth red suit, and even some of the suits she wore during her fracture days...
2) Ishita should change her hair styles often as before... She should often let her hair loose ( the most stunning one was the night after the airport incident)... even her old hair styles were better than the current one...Why did she remove her nose ring (is it to show that she is now a typical punjabi?). But I liked her more with it...
3) Talking about her character, I am missing her cute and innocent dialogues (Ayyo Ammma... Ayyo murugan) ...We rarely hear it now a days... and even if rendered.. this doesn't sound as cute as before...Mainly because she is always in a sad mood or she walks around as if carrying the weight of the whole world in her shoulder...She was always so pleasant before... Even though she poked her nose in other's affairs even in the earlier episodes, it was done in a cute and bold way. Even we used to feel that she is doing the right thing... Now a days all she does is hiding things from her husband., making foolish plans...She is completely ignoring her duties as a wife and a mother...
ISHRA
What made YHM the favourite show of the audience is the chemistry between ISHITA and RAMAN. Raman is a powerful CEO and though short tempered, is a loving and humorous person and his wife is an equally strong and independent woman. She doesnt sit and cry like Sati Savitri...and supports her husband through all phases of their life...
Coming to the romance section, in the earlier episodes,even though no heavy romance was shown, the few scenes they have were stunning...The fact that they have been getting the best JODI award consecutively from the start of the episode is proof of this...But now a days all these have changed...
The makers are trying to make Ishita a super woman and in the process they are weakening Raman's character... The scenes they show as romantic ones do not have the previous spark... The romance scene ends even before it starts... In the few hugging scenes. they show, it is almost a friendly hug ... not at all passionate... They are certainly loosing their chemistry which is the back bone of this show...
It seems the writers need to split up the pair some how... They are trying out these gimmicks to find a suitable way to split our favorite jodi...Are they so egoistic to accept that only ISHRA can keep this serial alive????? I feel they are cutting the very branch on which they are sitting... I do not think any true YHM fan could accept romantic scenes of Ishita and Raman separately with third parties...No please not this in THIS serial... Raman is a father and a loving husband... Ishita is a mother and a wife...Please do not degrade their characters...
Other Characters
Shagun's character was performing brilliantly in the negative shade.. But when she turned positive, she lost her relevance in the show... Now she is just a side character who is carrying the surrogate baby (dont know why it is needed)...
Aadi Ruhi ... Please show more of their scenes... Also Ruhi's cute and childish scenes are very much needed... She is a child... please keep that in mind... Dont show all daadima scenes...
Mihir Mihika... Now with Rinki out of the scene... they could get married... Please let the atmosphere lighten with preparations for their marriage...
Abhishek, Nidhi, Pallavi... Please dont give an overdose of these characters...
Vandu Bala ... So tired and irritated with Vandu scenes... Please get her out of this... Make her the sassy and bold professor as before...Also please bring some humor into Bala's character...
To the makers... If you are really short of ideas please copy the ideas from some creative writers in this forum..They do a much better job than you people ( Veeann, Anu...etc for some... I am still reading the posts of other authors...)...
That's all for now...These are not meant to be personal accusations of any sort...But I am a true fan of this serial and feel really sorry with the current state of this serial
