MakeMyTrip signs up Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt as brand ambassadors

The move is in a bid to connect with the brand's younger target audience, and to strengthen the brand's appeal, stature and recall.

Speaking about the signing, Saujanya Shrivastava, chief marketing officer, MakeMyTrip said, "Makemytrip aims to inspire and enable the restless wanderlust in every person's heart. And as the brand injects new energy into its ambitions, there is a raring-to-go spirit that it has started to spread. On that journey, taking on two key protagonists to represent this spirit of wanderlust is a key step. Like the brand, both Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt represent the new age of Indians - confident, bold, and unafraid to try new things. The duo will be engaged in a soon-to-be-launched high-decibel campaign that will have high visibility and impactful presence across mediums and will be supported by digital and on-ground marketing activations.
