Return of the Psychologist - Predictions

Sometime back , I predicted with accuracy the elimination patterns and the winner of Big Boss 2006 - Rahul Roy.

After I returned to India I had a chance to meet some members , and the meetings were really interesting.I really liked the kind of crowd I met in that forum and see that many are still here and posting with great verve.

I have decided to stick my neck out in "The return of the pyschologist" for Jhalak and I am laying my reputation on the line.

Predictions are based on performances, pyschological histories and the voting patterns of the Indian messaging public.

We have the following contestants : Ronit , Sonali , Negi , Prachi , Jai , Mika and Sandhya left in the competition.


The determinant factors in predictions , at least at JDJ are , the judges mindsets , the audiences and their personal inclinations towards the celebs , the choreographers ability and finally the comments that are made by the celebs when they receive their scores.Mind that I did not mention the performance capabilities of the celebs.That is not a factor at all.If that was the case , we would have Amit Paul as the winner of II2007 :-))

Based on this , and mindful of the fact that its impossible to predict with accuracy , I am taking a call. I expect a 75% degree of accuracy on elimination patterns and a 99% possibility on the winner.

Nov 10 - Eliminated Jodi : Sonali

Sonali has the best choreo man at her side , yet she has been in the danger zone at least thrice in the past.While she is a great actor , the voting public have not fancied her as a dancer.Her primary failure is her own humility and that is not comfortable. She will go.

Nov 17 - Eliminated Jodi : Ronit

Ronit's choreo is lacking in imagination generally.As the competition progresses , Ronit's fan will expect more and will be dissapointed. Generally , it takes more energy from the celeb and creativity from Nicole - And I dont see that happen. Nicole was also Jadeja's choreo in the first season. Ronit's female following will let him down.

Nov 24 - Eliminated Jodi : Mika

Finally , the day everyone was waiting for will happen. Its not possible to pull wool on everyone's eye at the sametime. His choreo is good , but not great.He will finish at the bottom in Judge's rating and will tie with Prachi for the danger zone. Will be eliminated.

Dec 1 - Eliminated Jodi : Prachi

Yes , this is going to happen.Prachi will not be able to overcome certain other rounds coming up towards the end.A solo round is expected at this stage in the competition , plus audience are not going to accept her choreo's "man-handling" any more. Great work by the young star , but there are better days ahead for this sweet girl.

Dec 8 - Eliminated Jodi : Negi

Yes, how did he survive till now ? A combination of clever choreo's by Marischa , with slow and elegant movements , plus Negi's never say die spirit plus a devoted chak de audience , who love his middle class values and humilities. He is liked by the sms savvy college crowd as well as the elders in the family who dont mind spending a couple of sms for voting this energetic new age icon.

Dec 15 - Who's left : Jai and Sandhya

Finale : Jai survived until now because Bindi has realized the value of energy and creativity. Plus a large teenage fan following. Sandhya is kept alive precisely for the same reasons because she appeals across the board. Honesty , sincerity and committment. Though Javed in a very ordinary choreo.She will go Mona's way

In the sms battle ....the winner is ::::: SANDHYA !!!

I agree with mostly what u said 😊 ..But I doubt Sandhya will go that far or even win it 😕 ..She is a great dancer no doubt 👏 but she has not got that type of fan following which mayb Prachi or Ronit has 😳 and These Celebrity Reality shows r all About Popularity and the reason why Mona Won instead of Shweta just because of her Jassi Popularity 😉 😃

Big Boss show had a different format alltogether..Over there the one who got the maximum votes was voted out which in the initial episodes must hv definitely confused the Audiences leading to some wrong votings 😉 and later Rahul won because he emerged out as the mose well-behaved person in the house 😊 ..over there more importance was given to stuffs like your Behaviour or Drama or scandals and all that...

But here the votes r based only on your fan following ...of course Mika is one rare case because he believes in voting for himself 😕 😆 ..

So at the end I feel Prachi will definitely b there as one of the finalists sinse she is the favourite Bahu right now 😛 ..I also want Ronit to b there but looks like his fans r not supporting him that much 😔 😭

I went through your Big Boss post, and am impressed. Though it is impossoble to predict with 100% certainty, what you say makes sense and I hope the eliminations will progress in the manner you have predicted. I want Mika out and Sandhya to win.

Btw, would you mind telling us a little more about yourself? You seem to have been on this forum for a long time but haven't posted much.

Dear Jyoti , Point taken and good insights. You cant compare a reality show with a dance show.You are spot on that TV popularity is a great criteria , but take into account also the counter view of our viewing junta and as to whether they fancy a bahu shaking a leg till the end.

I have a habit of coming in from the cold and leaving no footprints. Not really I'm just a ordinary member and like vote out competitions.And like reading member's post.It gives me a great insight into the thought processes of people and how they make such shows tick.

C, loved ur analysis but Jadejas choreographer was not Nicole, but Sanjeev's choreographer was Nicole.
Nicole can be creative, she has shown her smart choreography in the last round, with her injury.
Ronit has a huge fan followin...but and everybody is voting, but i guess Sony is doin some nonsense!! 😡

Correction - Nicole was Sanjeev's Kapoor choreo.Mistake accepted , and end result was the same as Jadeja.

I hope the its goes this way.. cant wait for Nov 24!! i hate mika 😡 😡 😡

we will findout how correct u r on this saturday.. although i think sonali's chances of going out r high since she is not a very good dancer and she is not old enough to get sympathy votes..
