Hrithik Roshan pairs with Yami Gautam in 'Kaabil'
Roshan Sr, who is producing this Sanjay Gupta-directed love-revenge drama, says, "Yami is a fine actress and makes a fresh pairing with Hrithik. She suits the role to the T and we are glad to have her on board." The filmmaker goes on to add, "After a long time, I have heard a novel story with all the commercial ingredients, so I'm very excited about it."

Hrithik Roshan seems to want to be paired with newer actresses. First, he signed Ashutosh Gowariker's Mohenjo Daro with Pooja Hegde co-starring and now, after various top actresses' names were tossed around, he's signed Kaabil opposite Yami Gautam. A source adds, "It's a big solo-heroine project for Yami, who has done films with Ajay Devgn and Varun Dhawan, where she had to share joint credit with another actress. There were speculations that actresses like Parineeti Chopra and Kareena Kapoor had been approached for the role in Kaabil, which director Sanjay Gupta later denied. It's a big feather in Yami's hat to be part of this project. Everyone from Gupta to Hrithik and his father Rakesh felt that Yami suited the role the best." Rakesh Roshan is also the film's producer. The intense love story-cum-thriller will be shot in a three-month start-to-finish schedule beginning from this month in Hyderabad. Hrithik is currently completing the shooting of Mohenjo Daro. Once the final schedule gets wrapped, he will begin shooting for Kaabil. |
