The news of Colors' Chakravartin Ashoka Samrat (Contiloe) taking a leap has been doing rounds in the media for quite some time.

The show which reached Himalayan height with little wonder Siddharth Nigam playing the titular role is now all set to welcome many new actors.

And while we will be bidding a sad adieu to Siddharth, another big name is all set to step into his shoes.

Yes, handsome and talented actor Mohit Raina of Mahadev fame is all geared up to play the grown up Ashoka now.

Wohoo...aren't you all excited???

A source shares with us, "Many popular actors have been considered for the role so far. But the makers in all probabilities will finalize Mohit for the role. Though the contract is yet to be signed, Mohit has the strongest chance of getting locked for the project".

Wow, wouldn't it be wonderful to see him back on screen?

Mohit who became a 'godly' personality with an immense fan following as Mahadev, surely has the looks and aura to play a warrior prince. The same role has been essayed by Shah Rukh Khan on the big screen.

We are for sure excited to see our Mahadev as Ashoka, aren't you?

When we called Mohit he shared, "Yes talks are on but I am not in a position to comment on it at the moment."

No doubt Mohit is a perfect choice for samrat ashoka . .but he is already finalised for the role of Krishna bagwaan in Nikhil sinha's lord Krishna on life ok and many other regional subsidiary of star network...the promo is already started on air...it's. A grand show ...i hardly believe colors will take face from their rival channel.
